There is no question that this generation is further away from God than any other in hundreds, if not thousands, of years. And many may wonder why that is? Not me. I have seen the reason playing out before my eyes for well over a decade. It is the mainstream media. Whether television, movies, music, or the internet, the kids today are being bombarded with anti-God material.
Preteens are stumbling across sexual imagery and pornography without even trying, and the youngest of highschoolers are doing much of what our generation hadn’t done until our college years. Years ago, it shocked me that highschoolers were getting pregnant around 15-16 years old. Nowadays, kids are having sex and doing drugs as young as 12 years old! And, again, it all goes back to the influence of what they’re seeing and hearing from a young age.
Parents today must be especially vigilant in monitoring what their kids watch, because gone are the days of leaving them alone for hours in front of the tube. Satan wants all our souls; and if he can’t get yours, then he wants your children. He’s using the media as his outlet to do that. In my book, Even More Signs of Our Times, I give well over a dozen examples of TV series and movies that the devil is using to indoctrinate the youth.
Along with TV or movies, he uses music. Most of today’s popular musicians have some form of demonic messaging in songs, videos, and performances. Whether Ariana Grande and her song “God is a Woman,” Jay Z and his obsession with Occult symbolism, Beyonce’s demonic rituals in her live performances, Lil Uzi Vert – whose name is a nod to Lucifer, or Marilyn Manson tearing up the Bible on stage, there is no shortage of Satanic indoctrination (even worship) going on in the music world today.
The biggest example of this came from gay rapper, Lil Nas X. In early 2021, he released “Satan Shoes.” Bear in mind, this guy’s core audience is kids. The shoes were decorated with a pentagram pendant and a reference to Luke 10:18, which reads, “I saw Satan falling like lightning from heaven.” The sneakers also contained a drop of human blood in the sole. How unbelievably sick is that. A total of 666 pairs were sold. Nas X released the shoes to coincide with his latest single. In the video for the song, he descends down a stripper pole and actually gives Satan a lap dance. This man has some serious issues, and the only one who could ever help him is the one whom he has constantly mocked – our Lord Jesus Christ. Sadly, the kids love this idiot.

America has turned into a modern-day Sodom and a modern-day Babylon. If we Christians and Jews don’t start standing up against all of the Godless indoctrination of this generation, then this nation’s fate will be the exact same as those two abominable cities.
