Apostasy… It is defined as “the abandonment or renunciation of a belief.” It is also referred to in the Holy Bible as “falling away from the Faith.” Widespread apostasy or the great falling away is one of the biggest signs of Christ’s imminent return to the earth. This week’s exclusive preview from my first book, The Signs of Our Times: 12 Biblical Reasons Why This Could Be the Generation of the Rapture, will be focusing on this subject.
The falling away in the Church today has become so evident and is heartbreaking. So many so-called pastors and priests are cowering to today’s “woke” mob by purposely misinterpreting or rewriting God’s Word, by supporting or endorsing radical sinful movements, or by engaging in what the LORD dubs abominable sin themselves. Today’s modern Church of Christ is in shambles.
Many of the so-called “Christian” leaders falling away from the Faith are whom the Lord has dubbed false prophets or “wolves in sheep’s clothing.” Outwardly, they profess to be believers. Inwardly, they are ignorant – even willful – servants of Satan.
Earlier this year, a Christian “pastor” of a “progressive” church in Tennessee preached that the Holy Bible is NOT God’s Word. The Pope continues to lead many in his Catholic flock astray with unBiblical proclamations. Only 6% of Americans hold the Biblical worldview. And Coronavirus lockdowns exposed that “Christians” spend more of their free time doing worldly things like watching Netflix and doing yoga, as opposed to reading and studying the Word of God. This country and world is no doubt falling away from the LORD in staggering numbers.

Jesus said, “When I come, will I find faith on the earth?” If He were to come back anytime soon, then the answer would sadly be NO. We true Bible believers must do everything in our power to change that before it’s too late.
