We are just under one month away from the arrival of my third book in the Signs of Our Times series, and so I wanted to begin sharing some previews of the book leading up to its release on December 7th.
The first two books in the series have been all about the signs that are heralding the Rapture of the Church in our generation. This coming book will be all about what comes AFTER the world-changing event – specifically, the 7-year Tribulation.
Will you be going through it? Will your family and friends be left behind? I answer these questions in the Introduction of the book.
For all those who are not caught up to Heaven alive in the coming Rapture, the rest of the book will guide you or your unsaved loved ones through the worst tribulation that planet Earth has ever experienced.
First, take a look at the chapter layout below to get an idea of what you will read about in The COMING Signs of Our Times; and then read an excerpt from the Introduction…
INTRODUCTION: Left Behind?
“I will shew you things which must be hereafter.” – REVELATION 4:1
If you are reading this book, it is for one of two reasons. You are either reading this before the Rapture of the faithful because you desire to have a greater understanding of the Book of Revelation and the Tribulation that is described therein, or you have opened this book because a mass disappearance of your Christian loved ones has occurred and you are desperately searching for answers. Let me begin by addressing the first group of readers – those who are reading this book prior to the Rapture.
I’m sure there are a few questions that some of you want to ask, such as how can I be so convinced about a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of believers? And why am I so sure that we will not go through the seven-year Tribulation with the rest of humanity? To answer these questions, I would first suggest that you read the Introduction of my previous book, Even More Signs of the Times: MORE Biblical Reasons Why This Could Be the Generation of the Rapture. I think that my arguments for a Pre-Trib evacuation of believers in the book were Biblically-sound and concrete.
Also, there is one big scriptural reason in particular that I recently discovered which solidifies my belief that the Church will not be going through the Tribulation period. The Holy Spirit revealed this powerful Pre-Trib proof to me while I was doing my research for this book. If you are a Christian who has held to the Mid-Trib or Post-Trib point of view about the Rapture event, I believe that this strong but simple argument may very well change your mind…
While the Tribulation is described all throughout the pages of the Holy Bible (Old and New Testaments), we know that the most detailed description of the seven-year period of Hell on Earth is found in the Book of Revelation. It was through thorough study of the Book that the Spirit had highlighted for me the fact that “the Church” (global body of Bible-believing Christians) is not present during any of the judgments of the Tribulation.
There are 22 Chapters comprising the Revelation to John. In those Chapters, you’ll discover that the Church is only mentioned at the beginning of the Book (BEFORE the Tribulation judgments begin to fall), and is not mentioned again until the end of the book (AFTER the judgments have passed). Upon reading the first few Chapters for yourself, you’ll find that the last time the Church is mentioned is in Revelation 3:22. In the very next verse, I believe that the Rapture is described. Compare Revelation 4:1 with the most quoted Rapture verses of the Bible, which are found in the Book of 1st Thessalonians –
“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither (come up here), and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” – Revelation 4:1
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” – 1st Thessalonians 14:16-18
Notice the similarities? Both pieces of scripture speak of the “voice,” the “trumpet,” and going up into Heaven. If you are still a skeptic, then explain to me why the Church is never mentioned again until the FINAL Chapter of Revelation (22:16).
That’s all for the preview, but you can read all 8 pages of this Introduction on DECEMBER 7TH.
Also, like with the Collection (my first two books combined under one cover), you will be able to buy the TRILOGY (the entire Signs of Our Times series under one cover). It will make a great Christmas gift!
