Christian Conservative voters have been altogether forgotten in the 2016 Presidential Election. This November, the only choice we have is to vote “Democrat”, even though one of them has an (R) by his name. For that reason, I will vote for neither of the 2 major Party candidates, nor for any of the current 3rd Party options. There are no viable Third Party candidates worthy of the Christian vote. Yet, the media, on the left and right, are trying to paint Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in a positive light for Christians. Sadly, any positives that either of them have are greatly overshadowed by their many negatives. In this Presidential Election, Liberalism is the dominating trend, which means nothing but BAD choices for believers. It is truly a “pick your poison” Election.
I myself have decided that my only viable option is to vote my conscience and Write-In Ted Cruz. I supported him in the Primaries because his beliefs and values mirrored my own, and since no current candidate on the ballot comes close, I’m going to stick with Ted. Call it a symbolic vote, a protest vote, or even as some Trumpers do, a “vote for Hillary” (which it most certainly is NOT). To me, my vote will represent a vote AGAINST ALL of the current horrible candidates. This Election, and the 2 major candidates, have and will continue to dominate the mainstream news cycles until November. So, I wanted to give uninformed or uneducated Holy Bible believing voters the truth about where Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton stand on the Biblical Issues that matter to us. We will begin by examining their Faith ~
On FAITH
TRUMP: When “the Donald” first began his Campaign last year, he said, “I read the Bible more than ANYONE.” This has since been proven to be an obvious lie. As Trump spoke to members of the Great Faith Ministries Church in Detroit today, he quoted from the Gospel of John, but completely misquoted the verse, replacing crucial words with “politically correct” ones. It’s sad that mr. Politically Incorrect only fears “offending” people when quoting the Holy Bible. He said, “No one has ever seen God… But if we love each other, God lives in us, and His love is brought to perfection in us.” The first 6 words were Biblically correct, while everything else he said was not. JOHN 1:18 actually says, “No man hath seen God at any time; the Only Begotten Son, which is in the bosom of The Father, He hath DECLARED HIM.” Trump obviously excluded the majority of the verse, because it emphasizes we can only know GOD through Christ. That would hurt his current “outreach” to non-Christian voters.
Last year, he made a very concerning statement, when he revealed that he does not seek God’s forgiveness. “Why do I have to repent or ask for forgiveness if I’m not making any mistakes?,” Trump said to a CNN crowd. The Holy Bible teaches that “NO ONE IS JUST, no not one”, and that we “ALL SIN and fall short of God’s Glory”. This is why we BECOME Christians in the first place, because we recognize that we are sinners according to God’s Holy Word, and we need His Forgiveness and Mercy through Christ our Lord. We are commanded to repent by Lord Jesus and our Father in Heaven. The Book of 1st John is clear that, “if we say that we have NOT sinned, then we call God a LIAR.” Trump doesn’t think he needs to repent or ask for God’s forgiveness. I’ve never met one true Christian who could ever make such a statement.
In August 2015, soon after his Presidential Campaign had begun, Trump said that his favorite book is the Holy Bible. That would be great! Yet, in 2007, when he wasn’t running for President and needing the Christian vote, he told Forbes that his favorite book was “The Art of the Deal”, which is written by HIMSELF. In another interview, when pressed about Biblical passages that influenced him, after consistently trying to pass on the question, he finally answered, “Well, I think many. When we get into the Bible, I think many, so many. And some people, look, an eye for an eye, you can almost say that.” So the Old Testament verse about REVENGE is the best verse Trump could come up with. Very telling.
Trump has said that he needs to win the presidency because, “I figure it is probably, maybe the only way I’m going to get to Heaven.” It is sad that he thinks that. If he read his Holy Bible “more than anyone”, like he tells voters, then he would know that HIS works and accomplishments cannot get him to Heaven. Everyone reading this knows that ONLY JESUS can get us to God’s Holy Heaven. Hopefully Trump will come to realize this Truth someday.
CLINTON: Right off the bat, let me just say, you CANNOT be a Christian AND a Democrat. It is impossible. The Godless platform which Hillary Clinton espouses is not one that a Biblically-Minded believer could ever support. The two belief systems are diametrically opposed. Hillary, like Barack Hussein Obama, wants to REMOVE GOD from the public discourse of America. At the Democratic Convention, she, like Obama, misquoted our Country’s motto. She said that America’s motto is “e pluribus unum” which means “out of many, we are one.” That is NOT our national motto. The official motto, is of course, “In GOD We Trust.” Apparently, Hillary trusts in the “many” instead of THE “One”.
Clinton also believes in “manmade” Climate Change, choosing to ignore God’s Judgments. She says that “WE can save our planet.” No, you really can’t Hillary. There is only ONE Saviour, and if she does not acknowledge His Judgments upon a sinful nation, and refuses to repent, then the planet will continue to suffer. There is nothing that “SHE” or “WE” can do about it. Worse than not acknowledging God, Hillary wants to “CHANGE” His Truth. She has said, “Traditional Religious beliefs in this Country have to BE CHANGED.” She said this while speaking of Christians’ Biblical opposition to Gay Marriage, Abortion and Islam. She has also said of Holy Bible believers, “You have a right to speak from the wellspring of your faith, but you must do so in a respectful and INCLUSIVE WAY.” So in Hillary’s America, “divisive” Biblical verses which state that JESUS is the Only Way to Heaven, will NOT be acceptable???
On ABORTION
TRUMP: Trump has stated that the nation’s leading murderer of the unborn, Planned Parenthood, does “many wonderful things”, and that he would not pursue the “defunding” of the organization. He would, however, seek defunding the abortion aspects of PP. As a Christian, there is no reason to believe that the abortion slaughterhouse does anything “wonderful”. Planned Parenthood should be completely defunded! Not one taxpayer dollar should support the Godless organization.
CLINTON: What’s sad, is that though I take issue with his position, Trump is actually very moderate compared to Hillary on this issue. The Democrats and Planned Parenthood seek to repeal both the Hyde and Helms Amendments. These laws restrict taxpayer-funded abortions domestically and internationally. Clinton will thus FORCE taxpayers to pay for the murder of babies nationwide. She will also allow partial birth abortion to protect the mother’s “health,” which includes “emotional” health. That means that murder of a baby would be acceptable for “MILD DEPRESSION” in a mother. God help us if she becomes President.
On LGBT ISSUES & GAY MARRIAGE
TRUMP: Trump is currently selling “LGBTQ for Trump” shirts and buttons on his official Campaign website. If I didn’t know that he was a running as a Republican, I would surely think from his website that he was a liberal Democrat. The caption for the LGBTQ merchandise says, “Show your PRIDE and your support for Trump with this exclusive EQUALITY tee.” Unbelievable. Trump has also taken the same position as Liberal Democrats, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton on the “Transgender Bathroom Bills.”
Gregory T. Angelo, president of the Log Cabin Republicans, an advocacy group for gay Republicans, said of Trump, “He is one of the BEST, if not THE best, pro-gay Republican candidates to EVER run for the presidency.” He added that Trump would “do no harm on Gay Marriage”, and has a “stand-out position” on nondiscrimination legislation. Concerning the Gay Marriage Ruling by the SCOTUS, Trump said, “the Court has ruled and it is the law of the land. You have to go with it.” Last year, a lesbian reporter asked him, “When President Trump is in office can we look for more FORWARD motion on equality for gays and lesbians?” Trump responded, “Well, you CAN. We’re going to bring people together, and that’s your thing, and other people have their thing. We have to bring all people together.”
At the Republican Convention, he spoke a great deal about LGBTQ issues, but failed to mention Religious Liberty, abortion, GOD, Israel, or the social issues that matter to Christian voters.
CLINTON: Clinton is an outspoken supporter of Gay Marriage. She was the FIRST First Lady to ever march in a “gay pride parade”. She will destroy Religious Liberty, and continue Obama’s unGodly attack on States and citizens that refuse to comply with forced pro-LGBT Laws in Schools and public restrooms.
On ISRAEL
TRUMP: Donald Trump has said that he would be “NEUTRAL” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He also pledges to give the “Peace Plan” (which DIVIDES the Holy Land of Israel and gives some of the Jewish State’s Holiest Cities to the murderous Palestinians) “one hell of a shot.” He has said, “If I do win, there has to be a certain amount of surprise, UNPREDICTABILITY. Our country has no unpredictability.” Sorry Donald, but when it comes to Israel, we should ALWAYS be predictable in standing shoulder to shoulder with the Jewish State. “I think it serves no purpose to say that you have a good guy and a bad guy. It doesn’t do any good to start demeaning the neighbors (Palestinians), because I would love to do something with regard to negotiating peace, finally, for Israel and for their neighbors. And I can’t do that as a negotiator, I cannot do that if I’m taking big, big sides,” Trump said at a Debate.
Ted Cruz’s response was perfect – “Donald agrees with Hillary Clinton and on which I disagree with them both strongly. Both Donald and Hillary Clinton want to be neutral, to use Donald’s word, between Israel and the Palestinians. Let me be clear. If I’m president, America will stand unapologetically with the nation of Israel.. Why has Donald supported anti-Israel politicians from Jimmy Carter to Hillary Clinton to John Kerry for four decades? If you care about Israel, you don’t write checks to politicians who are undermining Israel.”
CLINTON: Hillary was the first member of ANY Presidential administration in history to call for a “Palestinian State”. As Secretary of State, she demanded a “freeze” in Israeli construction on their God-given Land in 2009, because she and Obama desired that the Holy Land be gifted to the Islamists in Palestine. She also disrespected and verbally berated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin NetanYahu on numerous occasions, almost as much as the sitting anti-Israel president has done. In 2010, she made headlines for scolding and yelling at Netanyahu for nearly 45 minutes in a phone call. She is cold, calculating, Biblically-hostile, naive and dangerous. Someone who can say that “Muslims are peaceful and tolerant people and have NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with terrorism,” has no business being President of the free world.
In her Book, “Hard Choices”, Clinton accused Israel of being an “occupier”, a term used often by Islamic TERRORISTS. Many Washington officials and insiders have said that using the term indicates Clinton’s bias against Israel. One official went on record to say, “Clinton knows she lost to Obama in 2008 because she was outflanked by the left. She won’t make that mistake twice, and she knows how much the left HATES Israel.” Among the many released emails from Clinton’s server investigation, her close adviser, Sidney Blumenthal, sent Hillary many blog posts written by his son Max. The posts are Biblically-hostile, anti-semitic and anti-Israel. Hillary’s reply, to one of Max’s extremely hateful pieces about Jewish State, was “A very smart piece Max – AS USUAL.” Very telling that Hillary not only agrees with Max Blumenthal, but calls him “smart”. Clinton has NEVER apologized for nor distanced herself from Sidney or Max Blumenthal.
Hillary and Bill Clinton both admired and were great friends with the leader of the PLO (Palestinian Terror Group), Yasser Arafat, and his outspoken anti-semitic wife. The Clintons have taken billions of dollars from anti-Israel donors, such as Dubai, who is the leader in the movement to “boycott” Israel.
CONCLUSION
While it is clear that Hillary Clinton would be a dangerous, anti-Christian and anti-Israel President, it is beyond unfortunate that her opponent has made it impossible for a Christian to vote for him. I couldn’t wait for 2016 to vote AGAINST Hillary, and yet today, I find myself with no one to vote “FOR”. It is a very sad state which our Country is in. Even sadder, polls suggest that 78% of white Evangelical Christians will back Trump, and 17% say they will support Hillary. I find it hard to believe that I’m part of only 5% of Holy Bible believing Christians who has a problem voting for either of them. If I truly am part of only 5% of Christians disenfranchised with the choice before us, then that reveals that Christianity itself is in an even sadder state than the Country.
What’s worse, the 3rd Party Candidates are no better. Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party candidate is more liberal than Trump AND Clinton. He has said, “I am NOT a Social Conservative in ANY way, shape, or form.” Darrell Castle, the Constitution Party candidate states that “no further funds will be appropriated for any kind of foreign aid program, including ISRAEL.” Jill Stein of the Green Party was the FIRST Pro-Gay-Marriage Candidate ever, and says that “Religious Freedom” is a surrogate for patriarchal domination. She opposes military assistance to Israel, and is unapologetically ANTI-Israel. Evan McMullin has stated that he will not fight to overturn Gay Marriage. He said it is the “law of the Land” and he would not fight it. Though McMullin is running as the Conservative alternative to Trump, he obviously does not understand the meaning of the word “Conservative”.
So, the conclusion I personally have come to, is that in 2016, Christian Conservatives have no horse in this Race. Instead of sitting out completely, I intend to cast my ballot for whom I believe would best return this Nation to Almighty GOD, and that will be Ted Cruz. I have been a long-time “Never Trump” guy, but after examining all of the other declared candidates for President, I have now become “NEVER EVERYBODY”. This has got to be the absolute WORST Presidential Election for Christian Conservatives of ALL-TIME. Wake me when it’s over.
