Lawlessness is all around us. Sin is everywhere you look. For the first time in history, it is widely CELEBRATED. Thus, the love of many in this nation and world has grown cold. Very few love their neighbor as themself today. That is because no one can really trust their neighbor today. In a world drenched in sin all around you, how can you trust anyone that isn’t a family member or close friend. In some circles, even they cannot be trusted. This is how the world would be, according to Lord Jesus, in the season leading up to the Rapture and His imminent return.
One of the biggest reasons why our nation is in the mess that it is today is the slow, but methodical, chipping away at America’s Judeo-Christian foundation for the past half-century. In my second book, Even More Signs of Our Times, I shared how a book written in 1958, titled The Naked Communist, laid out a step-by-step guide for all God-hating Americans. It taught them how to destroy Christianity’s influence from our culture. The steps included –
- Eliminating prayer in schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of separation of Church and State.
- Discrediting the nuclear family as an institution. Encouraging promiscuity and easy divorce.
- Getting control of the schools. Using them as transmission belts for socialism. Softening the curriculum, and seizing control of teacher associations.
- Eliminating all laws governing obscenity by calling them censorship and a violation of free speech and free press.
- Breaking down traditional standards of morality – promoting pornography in books, magazines, films, and television.
- Presenting homosexual and promiscuous lifestyles as being normal, natural, and healthy.
- Infiltrating the press. Gaining control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
- Infiltrating churches, replacing revealed religion with social religion. Discrediting the Bible.
Does that sound like modern America or what? It took them over 60 years, but they have finally achieved their goals. And America has become a hellhole because of it. I wrote so much more about sin abounding and love waxing cold in my book.
