While giving the many signs of His imminent return to Earth in the future, Lord Jesus said, “As the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” So, what were the days of Noah like exactly? God tells us all the way back in the very first book of the Holy Bible. Genesis 6:1 says, “The earth was filled with violence.” The Hebrew word used in that verse for violence can be interpreted as “terrorism.” Jesus was saying that when you see the earth, especially the land within and around Israel, filled with TERRORISM, it would be an indicator of His much anticipated return.
There is no doubt that Israel has been plagued by Islamic terror ever since the Nation was reborn in 1948. Since then, each year and in every decade, it has gotten increasingly worse. Just in the past month alone, Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists in Gaza had fired about 4,500 rockets into the Jewish State. And, of course, we had ISIS a few years back wreaking havoc in the Middle East and abroad. Here in America, we have experienced Islamic terror attacks as well, but also multiple mass shootings by homegrown terrorists. There is no doubt that we are reliving the “Days of Noah.”
I wrote an entire chapter about the plague of terrorism in my best-selling book, The Signs of Our Times: 12 Biblical Reasons Why This Could Be the Generation of the Rapture, and here are the first two pages of it in this week’s exclusive preview of the book…
We have no doubt been living in an unprecedented decade of terror. I wish that I could tell you all that it would diminish, and that the terrorism will just go away, but that would be a lie. It will only get worse leading up to Christ’s descent. But take heart in the fact that the Lord knows those who are His, and He will protect you from the murderous savages of this world. Just put your faith and trust and Him to do so, and He will.
