Somebody needs to say it, so it might as well be me. I’m sick and tired of everything and everyone being labeled “racist” in this country. 99% of the time, these allegations are completely false. Lying doesn’t bother the Black Lives Matter movement one bit though, as long as it furthers their agenda – which isn’t about race or black lives at all. They are a left-wing hate group that glorifies thugs and criminals, while demonizing and threatening those who are tasked with keeping law and order in this nation – along with anyone who dares to oppose their movement.
I’ll explain later in this article why BLM is not a group that Bible believers should be embracing or supporting. But, let me start with some fact-based reasons why they are not at all about “black lives.” Almost 95% of blacks in America are killed by other blacks – not the police. How come we aren’t hearing any of their names from BLM? How come we only hear about the criminals killed by law enforcement? Black Lives Matter is also very particular in what victims of police shootings that they choose to put on a pedestal.
On average, over 200 blacks are shot by police every year. How come only one or two of their lives are chosen each year by BLM as worthy of protesting on behalf of? In the age of camera phones and social media, it all depends on how bad they can make the incident look for police, and how innocent they can make the criminal look. That’s my take on it.
I also believe it has got a lot to do with wanting to tear the entire American system of law and order down, and they feel they can achieve that through violent protests and riotous lawlessness. Plus, #BlackLivesMatter makes millions of dollars fundraising off of names like George Floyd. So they must find a new name to protest for every so many months, once their last poster boy or girl falls out of favor with the public when the facts come out.
As I’ve explained in previous articles and in my second book, BLM is only about publicity, money, division, burning down America, and rebuilding this nation to their liking. If they truly cared about “police brutality,” then they wouldn’t just focus on black lives. Police kill every race. Did you know that over 400 whites are killed by police every year, and about 200 hispanics? Do their lives not “matter”?
Of course, you always hear the argument on CNN by the Black Lives Matter activists that whites far outnumber blacks in America. So, though more people with white skin are shot by police, they say it is only because there are far more whites in this country. While they are right on the statistics, their argument is bunk. Yes, over 75% of Americans are white and only about 15% are black; but then what does that say about the violent crime statistics in this nation?
In just the past seven years (that’s as far back as I researched), Blacks committed the most violent crimes in America every year – with the exception of only 2019 (Hispanics overtook them by about one-quarter of 1%). Violent crimes are defined as incidents involving force or the threat of force. The main offences reported under violent crime are murder, manslaughter, rape and sexual assault, robbery, and aggravated assault.
Now, of course I’m not saying that “all blacks” are violent criminals. Not in a million years would I ever make such a racist statement. But, at the end of the day, they are far more likely to have violent and dangerous encounters with the police. It’s not at all racist to say that, because it is just the way it is. Are the accurate national statistics “racist”? What is a shame for my God-fearing black brothers and sisters is that many in their community are not speaking out against the criminals. Sadly, most are following the masses in taking to the streets to protest “in their names.”
God forbid someone with white skin, like myself, tries to write a realistic article about what’s really going on between people of color and police in this country, because you are immediately dubbed “racist.” I think everyone who has known me my entire life, and who has read my books, knows that I loathe white supremacists. It has come time for someone to examine this issue from a Biblical perspective, and from the standpoint of right versus wrong; because far too many Christian leaders today are afraid to do so because of our “woke” P.C. cancel culture. I’m not afraid to speak what God’s Word says about any and every issue; and so, I say, come what may.
At the end of the day, the fact is that cops kill people of every color WHEN THEY NEED TO. If they don’t uphold law and order, then who else will? If you ever find yourself in a situation with the police where a gun is drawn on you, then you most likely committed a crime or know someone who has. Most of the time, the victims of police shootings deserve whatever they got. And I am gonna go right down the line in this article, with some of BLM’s favorite poster child victims, and prove why a majority of them had it coming.
Before I begin, am I happy that these men and women lost their lives? Not for one second. It is sad when any human being loses their life. God does not delight in the death of anyone. But the saying rings true – If you play stupid games, then you win stupid prizes. If you are living your life like a thug and a criminal, then sooner or later you will be confronted by the law; and when you are, just know that the law most always wins. So, think wisely about the lifestyle you choose. Your life depends on it – literally.
Now, we all know the main characters in BLM’s roster of “innocent victims of police brutality.” They are always “saying their names” like broken records. I, for one, have never supported any of them; because I do not delight in glorifying thugs and criminals. Now, if police ever shoot an innocent black teenager walking to church with a Bible in his hand, I would be the first one to speak out and would shout that child’s name from the rooftops. But you never see that, and you probably won’t. Because the cops are not inherently racist as BLM and CNN want you to believe. They aren’t going around “targeting blacks.” They are simply going to work every day and trying to do their very difficult and dangerous job.
There are about 700,000 police officers in the United States. How do you think they feel when BLM paints them as the “bad guy” and the enemy of blacks? Would you be able to live with the anxiety they must face every day? Just remember when you hear of “the big bad police” shooting a black man on your nightly news every few months, that over 699,999 cops in America DIDN’T shoot a black man today – or yesterday – or last week – or this month – or this year! Yet, BLM wants to defund all of the police. They say that all cops are “pigs.”
So, just as all blacks are not defined by a thuggish criminal, all whites are not defined by the Ku Klux Klan, all muslims are not defined by terrorists, and all asians are not defined by Communist China, so too all cops are not defined by Derek Chauvin!
I wanted to highlight just how “innocent” some of the leading people on BLM’s “victims of police brutality” truly were. First, I will share a picture of them that you see on CNN and in the liberal media. Then, I will share the picture of them that the lamestream media would never show you. Because that would kill their narrative, their ratings, and their divisive agenda. I’ll start with the one who propelled the Black Lives Matter movement, TRAYVON MARTIN…
BLM and the left-wing media portrayed Trayvon as an innocent teenager out for a stroll in the middle of the night with a bag of Skittles. This second image, and other images you can find online, show him to be a thuggish kid who loved to post pics on social media of guns and weed. Also the security guard who shot and killed him had been beaten to a bloody pulp by that innocent little “Skittles boy.” But BLM wants you to SAY HIS NAME. I’ll pass.
Then, there was MICHAEL BROWN…
Black Lives Matter portrayed him as another innocent teen. He was shot after attempting to wrestle with the police, just minutes after assaulting an elderly store owner. He was a thug. Plain and simple.
FREDDIE GRAY had a long criminal rap sheet.
Like Brown, ALTON STERLING got violent with police when he was resisting arrest. Not wise.
Criminal records show Sterling had a very lengthy record spanning over a decade. His crimes included weapons offenses, confrontations with police officers, property crimes, domestic violence, and other batteries. Sterling was convicted of domestic battery in 2008 against a member of his own household. Another battery charge came by an ex-girlfriend. In a heated argument, the girlfriend told Sterling to leave the car but he refused and proceeded to choke and strike her. In 2006, he was charged for battery with a dangerous weapon, which led to time in prison. A year earlier, he was charged with burglary.
Brown, Gray, and Sterling were all criminals who habitually broke the law and had no respect for police authority. Yet, Black Lives Matter hangs their hat on these men’s deaths. I sure won’t waste my breath in SAYING THEIR NAMES.
Next, we have BREONNA TAYLOR…
She was portrayed as an innocent young EMT who was shot dead in her own home by a trigger-happy police officer.
The image below shows the boyfriend and gun that had actually shot at the police before they returned fire into the home, killing Taylor in the process. The cops came to her home looking for a violent crime suspect, who once dated Taylor. While he was not there, the man who was – her current boyfriend – was a drug dealer. Documents released of text messages between Taylor and her boyfriend showed evidence that she too was involved in selling the drugs.
BLM wants you to believe she was just an innocent young woman, brutally murdered by the police in her own home, and they want you to SAY HER NAME. No thanks.
We’re all familiar with GEORGE FLOYD…
Now, of course Derek Chauvin was wrong for kneeling on Floyd’s neck for 9 minutes. Did he have his reasons? Maybe he feared Floyd’s size. Maybe he didn’t believe Floyd really couldn’t breathe. Because though George was saying, “I can’t breathe,” while on the ground, he was also saying that same phrase numerous times while on his feet and the cops were trying to put him in the backseat of their cruiser. At the end of the day, Chauvin’s actions likely led to Floyd’s death – whether he knew he was killing Floyd or not. Do I believe that he intended to murder Floyd because of the color of his skin? No. Anyone who does is just looking to race bait.
The question people don’t ask in this case is why was George Floyd in a confrontation with the police in the first place? Because he was a criminal, high on drugs and breaking the law. Did he deserve to die for it? No. Obviously no one deserves to die over a counterfeit 20-dollar bill or a few drugs. But he was also not some saint and gentle giant that the media and BLM portray him as. His name should not be glorified.
George Floyd had been sentenced to five years in prison in 2009 for aggravated assault stemming from a robbery where Floyd entered a woman’s home, pushed a gun deep into her stomach, and searched the home for drugs and money. He also had at least five stints in jail. If he really were trying to better his life at the time of his encounter with police last year, then why was he high and breaking the law? Doesn’t sound like someone trying to change their ways to me. So it’s sad that he lost his life, but I will not be SAYING HIS NAME.
Next, we had RAYSHARD BROOKS…
He was shot in the back by police while FLEEING from them. After being pulled over in a Wendy’s parking lot, Brooks resisted arrest and then wrestled with and fought the cops who were trying to arrest him. He also tried to grab one of their guns, but had to settle for one of their tasers. After he had overpowered the smaller police officers, he tried to run away. As he fled, officers drew their guns and chased after him. He then turned around and fired their own taser at them. So the police shot him.
If I, a white man, did half of what Brooks did, I too would have expected to be shot. It doesn’t take rocket science to come to that conclusion. The guy was literally fighting the police. On what planet, and for what reason, is that acceptable? It never is. As you’ll see in the image below, Brooks also had a lengthy criminal record. So, again, I will not be SAYING HIS NAME.
I have been to jail twice in my life as a younger man. They were minor vehicle violations, so nothing violent or inherently criminal; but I still followed every order that the cops gave me and complied 100%, even though I knew that being cuffed meant ending up in a jail cell and having my car impounded. Again, this happened to me twice in two different states. Both times I fully cooperated with the police and was not in fear for my life in either instance. Blacks, whites, or hispanics who behave the same when pulled over or arrested will also walk away alive and well.
The people of ANY race who resist arrest, put up a struggle, attempt to flee the scene, or fight with the police, will most always be shot. It will never end well. It should be common sense. Cops are not pulling over black men and women to harass them, and definitely not with the intention of killing them. It is only when the situation escalates, to no fault of the officers, that things go bad and end with someone losing their life.
Two of the most recent names on BLM’s “innocent” victims’ list are DAUNTE WRIGHT and 16-year-old MAKHIA BRYANT. While the pictures floated by BLM and CNN make them appear to be peaceful young people, they most certainly were not.
Daunte Wright was shot by a female officer who thought she was firing a taser at him in the heat of the moment. The reason she could not tell the difference is because while attempting to arrest Wright for an outstanding warrant, he resisted arrest and jumped in his car to flee. She had to react quickly to prevent him from grabbing a weapon or speeding away and endangering innocent drivers on the road. She made a mistake and fired her gun instead.
This was all Wright’s fault and not the officer. She would have never made this mistake had he just complied and not tried to flee. The cops need to stop being blamed for doing their jobs. Period. And, once again, the image above shows that Wright was not some innocent victim of police brutality. He had a criminal record like most of the BLM poster boys. He once CHOKED a woman and threatened to shoot her if she didn’t give him her money. The warrant out for his arrest was related to firearms offences. It wasn’t about expired vehicle tags or air fresheners dangling from his rear view mirror.
The 16-year-old Bryant was shot when she tried to stab another woman. BLM and her sympathizers are saying, “she was just a kid!” Well, how many kids do you know that are running around stabbing people? She deserved to be shot because she was trying to take the life of another human being. Her age doesn’t matter one bit. It’s a shame parents aren’t raising their kids right. If they were, maybe the young people I wrote about today would still be alive. Don’t blame bad policing for young blacks being killed by cops.
Blame BAD PARENTING.
I penned a chapter about Racism in my second book, and spoke about my problems with the Black Lives Matter movement. Here’s what I had to say…
Look at the slogan of the popular Black Lives Matter movement: “No Justice – No Peace.” If Martin Luther King Jr. were alive today, I believe that his message to this group would be: “Know JESUS – Know PEACE.”
No one whom I call a friend would ever say black lives don’t matter. All lives matter to God. The trouble with groups like BLM is that their riotous and violent methods are not doing anything to unite this country. They actually only push us further apart. BLM is no better than Richard Spencer’s racist alt-right Nazis. Instead of taking a cue from Christ Jesus and Dr. King, the Black Lives Matter activists burn down buildings, vandalize property, assault anyone who disagrees, and clash with police. Their desired end does not justify their means in any way, shape, or form.
The Black Lives Matter movement actually isn’t about “black lives” at all. They’re a radical left-wing group, who use race as an excuse to push divisive demonic agendas. They support the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) movement, which supports Palestinian terror against Israel and is for the destruction of the Jewish State. Their Mission Statement states their commitment to “disrupting the nuclear family structure.” So, they are against the Biblical model for family – Father (Husband), Mother (Wife), and children. Meanwhile, fatherless homes and abortion happen to be two of the biggest reasons why inner-city black communities have seen so much crime. Yet, BLM supports both. They also push the radical LGBT agenda, by “fostering a queer‐affirming network.”
BLM keeps racism alive and well in this country, as they put blacks into their own category – just like the KKK puts whites in their own category. This should not be so. If they truly wanted all people to be equal, in order to make MLK’s dream a reality, then they would stop alienating themselves as “others.” As I previously stated, the LORD doesn’t see any of us in color! So, why then do we focus so much on the shades of our skin? If you’re a Bible believer, you’re my brother or sister. The complexion of your skin has no bearing on that whatsoever. Sadly, in a Biblically-illiterate nation and world, not everyone thinks like I do; and not everyone knows our God. Thus, there will always be racists until our Lord comes back down. It is an unfortunate reality.
Before any BLM activists or hardcore liberals label me a “racist” for condeming the glorification of criminals with black skin in this article, be sure to read the rest of that chapter in my book, Even More Signs of Our Times. Otherwise, you’ll only be defaming my name in an effort to further your agenda. Truth is truth. And if truth did not slap you in the face in this article, then your life is rooted in lies.
Is there racism in America? Absolutely. Is it as widespread as the media is making it out to be? Thankfully, the answer is no. The BLM movement is hurting the black community by constantly drawing attention to criminals and thugs as victims, and they are essentially crying wolf over and over again. Then, sadly, when a real case or epidemic of racism does arise in this nation, most Americans will not be paying attention. They will be sick and tired of hearing everything and everyone being labeled a racist every day.
To my brothers and sisters with dark skin who fear encounters with police: Don’t behave like the criminals that I mentioned in this article and you will always walk away alive. I promise you.
It is high time to start celebrating and honoring those who keep law and order in this nation, and to condemn all thugs and criminals in our society – along with all those who loot, burn, harm, destroy, and riot IN THEIR NAMES.
