THE END IS NOT YET: We Are NOT in the Book of Revelation’s 7-Year Tribulation

Last year, I felt led by the Holy Spirit to pen a book explaining the Book of Revelation’s 7-year Tribulation for those who would be left behind. The urging of the Holy Spirit was so strong that I truly believe we are drawing so very close to that hour of God’s final judgments upon the unbelieving inhabitants of the earth. But I can tell you with certainty that we are not there YET.

How do I know?

I just spent much of the past year studying and researching the Holy Bible’s final Book, so I have a fresh perspective on Revelation – as opposed to those being led astray by false prophets who cherry-pick verses to make their case for us living out the Book as we speak.

Most of those teaching that we are currently in the Tribulation Hour are conspiracy theorists, who don’t seem to know the Holy Bible very well. They write 200-page books about one or two verses from Revelation, and that should tell you something. If God kept something confined to just one or two verses, made up of less than 20 words, then how in the world is someone writing 50,000-word books about it?! As an author, I can promise you that 99% of their “best-selling” Christian books are not about the Revelation subject they are titling their books after.

Most of the books that I find in my books’ Bible Prophecy categories on Amazon have eye-catching titles, but are filled with nothing but endless speculation and conspiracy theories. They are better suited for “fantasy” or “political” book categories than they are Christian ones.

I’ve also noticed that some of the book titles were originally predicting the Tribulation or Apocalypse years ago, and then had to retitle their books because they were wrong. For example, some books would be titled something like “Tribulation 2012,” or “2020 End,” or “Antichrist 2012.” That is why date-setting is an unBiblical practice, and it leads many Christians astray and to even fall away from the Faith.

My first two books are all about the prophetical signs of the End Times heralding the Rapture, which precedes the 7-Year Tribulation, and I never once set dates for the much-anticipated event for believers. I instead lay out all of the reasons why the signs that the Old Testament prophets, Jesus, and the New Testament writers gave pointing to Christ coming down to get us before all hell breaks loose on Planet Earth are happening NOW.

This means that our Lord could come at any hour. He could come before you finish reading this article! So, there is no need for me to set dates. Those who are trying to predict the exact date of the Rapture or the start of the Tribulation are doing so in vain.

The number one reason being that there are around two-dozen different time zones across the globe – so you can never predict the exact date and time. That is the reason why Jesus told us that no one could know the exact day and hour (Matthew 24:36). Now, that didn’t mean that we wouldn’t know when “the End” of the Age was near – like many backslidden Christians who are too comfortable in this current world argue. Back up three verses in Matthew 24, to verse 33, and Jesus said –

“When ye shall see all these things (occurring), KNOW that it (His coming) is near, even at the doors.”

Only the signs preceding those of the Book of Revelation are occurring now – NOT the plagues and judgments described in the Revelation to John. I have no doubt that we are in the season of the Rapture because virtually every sign that Jesus, Himself, gave in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, are occurring as we speak.

While some today like to teach that the Coronavirus, widespread Christian persecution and anti-Semitism, signs in the heavens, extreme weather, wars and rumours of wars, or the “Deal of the Century” Peace Plan being rolled out by President Trump are signs that we are in the Tribulation Hour, they are all wrong.

These Biblical signs are what Jesus had called the “beginning of sorrows” or “birth pangs.” He said that there has never been and there would never be again so great an hour of tribulation on the earth as the one that is described in the Book of Revelation. If you think that we are really in the Book now, then you don’t know history and you greatly underestimate the power and judgments of the LORD.

While much of what we are seeing today is historic and unprecedented in modern history, in most cases, disasters similar to those occurring now have been much more extreme at other times throughout history. So while the ones happening now are signalling the return of Christ to come get us, the current plagues, wars, and disasters are nowhere near as severe as they will be during the 7-year Tribulation. Not even close.

Some Biblically-ignorant believers are saying that the current locust plagues in the Middle East and Asia are those described in the Book of Revelation, and they couldn’t be more wrong. Again, friends, I just wrote a whole book on the Tribulation! So, I’d like to think that I know what I’m talking about.

The locusts described in the Book of Revelation are not normal locusts, and I explain why in The COMING Signs of Our Times. Here is a snippet from my book about this prophecy –

“And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.” – Revelation 9:3-6

These are no ordinary locusts being described here for many reasons. They will be an innumerable army of demons, who will come forth out of the abyss like a swarm of locusts, and they will be allowed to torment the wicked with great pain for five straight months. Five months is also the lifespan of actual locusts; but, unlike real locusts, they won’t touch any vegetation on the earth.

They will also not be allowed to touch the 144,000 Jewish evangelists who have the seal of God in their foreheads. I believe that the Tribulation Christians, who have been saved by the preaching of the 144,000, will also receive Divine protection from these demons because the locusts are a judgment of God. The LORD’s judgments only target unbelievers of the earth to hopefully lead them to repentance. Christians will only be harmed or martyred by the world – specifically by the Antichrist’s regime.

The torment that unbelievers on Earth will experience because of these demon locusts will be like the sting of a scorpion. The victim of a scorpion’s venomous sting will often roll on the ground in agony, and even foam at the mouth. On top of this, even if men attempt suicide, they will not be able to die. If they refuse to repent, then God will see to it that they suffer through the full duration of this torturous judgment.

“And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.” – Revelation 9:7-10

The description of the demonic creatures given here by John makes clear that they are not literal locusts as we know them today. Throughout the detailed description, you will find that John uses the words “were like” and “as it were,” meaning that they were not literally the things he was describing – but like them. First, he said that they were like horses prepared for battle, so they will not be literal horses. Next, they have the appearance of crowns of gold on their heads – but not literal crowns.

He says that their faces were like the faces of men, and that they had hair like that of women. Again, John is describing what he had seen in terms that we would understand. So they are not literal men and women. These are still creatures. They will have teeth like lions, and will have a protective armor like breastplates of war. I believe this indicates that they will be invincible and cannot be destroyed. The earth will not be rid of them until their five month period is complete.

The sound of their wings will sound like chariots of many horses running to battle, but will not be literal chariots and horses. Though there have been some Prophecy teachers who try to associate these demonic locusts with modern-day vehicles of war, I can think of too many reasons why this cannot be the case. The final description of these locusts is the number one reason why they cannot be tanks or helicopters. They will have tails like scorpions, with stingers by which they will harm and cause great pain to the unbelievers of the earth.

They are obviously some type of insect creatures, for the fact that John could only reasonably describe them as locusts. These creatures will be possessed by demons. So, they will not be an army of literal demons walking around on the earth and attacking men. We know that demons inhabit both people and beasts, so it is not far-fetched at all to imagine them inhabiting the bodies of these locusts. Lord Jesus once cast demons out of a man and into swine (Matthew 8:31-32, Mark 5:12-13, Luke 8:32).

In verse 11, we are told that “they had a king over them, which is the (fallen) angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.” His name in English is translated from both languages as “the Destroyer.” This is not Satan, as old Lucifer was most likely the one who opened the pit. It is instead another high-ranking fallen angel who has been bound in the abyss. I believe this is the demon mentioned throughout the Holy Bible in Exodus 12:23, Job 15:21, Psalm 17:4, and 1st Corinthians 10:10.

The Holy Spirit placed a peculiar phrase in the Old Testament Book of Proverbs (Chapter 30 and verse 27) – “The locusts have no king.” Since the Holy Bible interprets the Bible, I suspect He placed that odd verse there so we would be able to discern that what are being described in the Book of Revelation are not literal locusts. Regular locusts have no king, but those being released from the abyss DO – and their king is a chief of the demon world. So, obviously, those serving him would be demons.

I examine all of the Seals, Trumpets, Vials, and Plagues, of the Book of Revelation in great detail in the new book; and I can promise you all that we are NOT in the 7-Year Tribulation yet. There are many things that must occur first.

The Gog-Magog War of the Book of Ezekiel, the Psalm 83 War, the signing of the 7-Year Peace Treaty by Israel and their hostile Islamic neighbors, and the Rapture. I explain all of the reasons why I do not think Christians will be going through the Tribulation in the new book and in my previous books. I believe that my reasoning is Biblically-sound and concrete.

So, before you start any debates with me about my Pre-Trib stance, read the arguments in my books. To borrow a line from one of my greatest influences, the late great Dr. Jack Van Impe – I’m so Pre-Trib that I won’t even eat Post cereal anymore!

For those who believe that we are currently in the Tribulation Hour, you are just not studying your Bible in context or you are entertaining unBiblical conspiracy theories.

I’m sure you’ve all heard someone referred to as an expert on a subject because “they wrote a book on it.” Well, I consider myself an expert on End-Times Bible Prophecy because I’ve written 3 books about it! I’ve studied it for 15 years, and have been writing about it for 7 years now.

You are all entitled to believe what you want, and from who you want, but the Bible holds the final word. God’s Word interprets God’s Word. So don’t take my word or anyone else’s word as truth, but study it front-to-back for yourself. Hopefully, when you do, you will see clearly that we ARE NOT in the 7-Year Tribulation and that we Bible-believing Christians WILL NOT be going through it!

When the Tribulation finally does arrive, everyone will know it. There won’t be any question. There will not be any doubt. You’re gonna wish that you lived in the time we’re living in today, because the Great Tribulation is going to be 100-times worse. And this is most likely an understatement.

Praise God that those of us waiting expectantly to hear our Lord say, “Come up hither,” in the coming Rapture will NOT BE HERE to experience it. Keep looking up!

“Jesus said, When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” – Luke 21:28
