Does the LORD have your attention yet? Just one day after Southern California’s biggest earthquake in 2 decades, Friday’s powerful 7.1 magnitude quake was 5 times stronger and is tied for the 6th “most powerful earthquake” in State history.
Last night’s quake struck near Ridgecrest, the epicenter of the 4th of July’s 6.4 magnitude temblor. It also lasted longer than Thursday’s quake, according to local residents. And just like Thursday’s earthquake, California’s most populated city of Los Angeles (150 miles away from Ridgecrest) felt the earth shake.
There were reports of power outages and downed wires in downtown L.A.. There were also reports of building collapses, gas leaks and more power outages in areas all across the quake zone. State Route 178 had to be closed down due to a rock slide in Kern County. The shaking was felt as far away as Las Vegas and Mexico, according to the USGS.
In addition to the 7.1 quake being much bigger than Thursday’s 6.4, it reportedly released more than 11 times the amount of energy. More than 1,000 aftershocks have already been recorded since the 4th of July earthquake, and California’s Governor has declared a State of Emergency.
In my previous article, I mentioned how I had wrote about California being due for God’s judgment in my first book – “The Signs of Our Times.” Since I do not believe that these quakes are the last that we will see befalling the unrepentant Godless State of California, I wanted to share an excerpt about today’s modern-day Sodom from the “Earthquakes and Extreme Weather” chapter of the book:
In recent years, there has been an increase of quake activity along America’s West Coast. This has many believing that the next “Big One” in the world may hit the USA.
A recent study concluded that, in the very near future, the 800-mile-long San Andreas fault could “unzip all at once.” The fault runs the length of California, where the Pacific and North American plates meet, and it was long thought that it could only rupture in isolated sections. But the study by federal, state, and academic researchers showed that much of the fault could rupture all at once – unleashing a devastating historic catastrophe. The top geological experts all believe that the fault is way overdue for a massive earthquake.
If you’re a believer in Cali, I would be praying for the Lord’s protection daily over your property and family. If you are anywhere near the San Andreas fault, I would highly recommend that you move. California is one of the most Godless States in our union today, so I believe that they are due for judgment, and believers should get out while they can.
Later in that chapter, I also explained why it is not “climate change” or “global warming” that has been bringing historic earthquakes, hurricanes, wildfires, and extreme weather upon the world – but SIN, and sin alone.
Newsflash to everyone reading this: “man” has no power over the weather. Our actions cannot influence it in any way, except for one. The only way that we can ever influence the conditions on Earth is through our sin. Hear what God says in Isaiah, Chapter 24 and verses 5-6 –
“The earth is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore has the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.”

Too many liberals attribute the record-breaking disasters that America has experienced, throughout the past decade, to a ticked off Mother Nature. By doing so, they just anger our Father in Heaven all the more; because there is no “Mother Nature.” The Father alone is the Author of the rare, historic, and unnatural weather that we have been experiencing. It’s not global warming and it is not climate change. It is the work of the God Who makes the impossible possible, Who does whatever He wants – whenever He wants – and Who will never leave the wicked unpunished.
Articles that I penned about the California wildfires on my website, BiblicalSigns.com, were mocked on social media by faithless liberals because I attributed the blazes to His judgment upon the most Godless State in our Union. The libs believe that the historic fires in Cali were all caused by climate change, and had absolutely nothing to do with their breaking of just about every Law in God’s Holy Book.
Well, to all those who have mocked me for calling it the long overdue judgment of God upon America’s modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the deadliest – most destructive – and largest – wildfires in the history of California all occurred in the same exact year that the State government tried to BAN THE BIBLE. How can anyone, believer or not, ignore that undeniable connection?
In my previous book, I warned that California was at the top of the list for coming judgments of the LORD and I don’t take pleasure in saying that I told you so. I wish that all of the heathen in Cali would repent and return to their Maker. He doesn’t want to judge them anymore than I want to see them hurt or lose their homes; but the sad and simple fact is that they have made their bed, and now they have to lie in it.
Hopefully, for the first time in a long time, Californians will begin to heed the recent strong warnings from the LORD. Lord willing they will begin to repent of their Godless ways, forget all the “climate change” nonsense, and turn to God’s Word. Sadly, if social media is any indicator of them doing these imperative things, it does not appear that many will.
A majority of the tweets that I read about both of the earthquakes were nothing but memes joking about them. Y’all won’t be laughing when the “Big One” really does hit; and by the looks of things, it may be a lot sooner than anyone thinks.
THE GOOD NEWS IS that if you turn to Jesus – repent of your sins – and ask Him to wash you of your sins and to cover your life, home, and family in His precious Holy Blood – then the Father in Heaven will PASS OVER your home, and keep you safe throughout His coming judgments, just as He did the Israelites in Egypt thousands of years ago. The LORD knows them that are His, and they are kept safe from all disasters, plagues, and judgments. Are you HIS? If your life isn’t surrendered to God, then you had better get to doing it… and QUICK.
If you don’t know God, but want to, He makes it very simple to do! It doesn’t matter how much you have sinned, or how bad you have sinned, Christ Jesus came to SAVE SINNERS and transform the dirtiest of lives. I’m living proof! Please pray this prayer to surrender your life to the LORD –
“Lord Jesus, I recognize that I am a sinner, always have been and sadly always will be. I also recognize that the Father cannot dwell in the presence of sin. So, I am so thankful to Him for sending You to take all of my sins – past, present, and future – upon Yourself, and to suffer the just judgment that I deserve. Thank you for dying for me, and for shedding Your sinless blood on the Cross, that I may washed of my sins in Your Holy Blood in the sight of our Father in Heaven. I ask you this day to wash and cleanse me in that Blood of all sin and unrighteousness, that I may appear holy and righteous forevermore – from this day forth – in our Holy Father’s sight. Help me to flee from all sin and to live as holy as I can for You from this day forth. If and when I stumble and fall into sin again, lift me up and remind me of your steadfast unfailing love and that you are always ready to forgive. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and lead me to repent of my sins daily. I surrender my life to you, trusting You to guide, heal, and protect me all the days of life. Make me a NEW creation. Be my Saviour. Be my Lord. And as you have promised in your Word of truth, be with me always – even until the end of the age. I love you Jesus. Thank you Jesus.
