My namesake hurricane, and the storm bearing the name of God’s most beloved Angel, MICHAEL, has arrived. Quickly strengthening to a Category 4 in just 3 days, the hurricane is expected to make landfall in the Florida Panhandle on Wednesday afternoon.
The storm has already made history, before even reaching U.S. soil, as it will be the most powerful hurricane on record to ever strike that area of the Gulf Coast. Record-keeping began in 1851. Michael is currently packing up to 145 mph winds, with 165 mph wind gusts, and could possibly even strengthen more before landfall.
In my article about hurricanes (which I penned back in May), and also in the “Extreme Weather” Chapter of my book – “THE SIGNS OF OUR TIMES” – I went into great detail as to why we should pay very close attention to storms bearing Biblical names. After observing the 2018 List, I counted five – Debby (DEBORAH) – ISAAC – MICHAEL – Rafael (RAPHAEL) – SARA (Sarah/Sarai).
Anyone familiar with the Holy Bible will clearly recognize these names. Two of them (Michael and Raphael) are ArchAngels of God, and the other three are well-known Old Testament names. While everyone was talking about Hurricane Florence last month, I was telling you all to watch for Michael and Raphael in the near future.
I believed that if God was going to get America’s attention with any judgments, then He would – more likely than not – use either (or both) of them to do so. While Florence certainly brought devastating flooding, it did not live up to the hype of the media. I believe that Michael will.
Michael strengthened so quickly that the media didn’t really have too much time to hype up the hurricane, but they will most certainly be talking about the storm for many days, weeks, months, and most likely years. As I said at the open, Michael is already going to be the strongest storm to strike the Florida Panhandle in nearly 2 centuries (at least). I would be surprised if the name was not retired after this hurricane season.
Before I go further, as I said in the previous article and in my book, I’m no “prophet.” I’m not looking to toot my own horn about being right about Michael or anything else that I teach or preach. I simply listen intensely to the Holy Spirit, and diligently observe the signs of the times occurring all around us in these “Last Days.”
I do not follow the majority of this world in attributing rare and record-breaking weather events to random “climate change” or “global warming.” It is all orchestrated by the LORD God Almighty, as the weather always has been, and is not “man-made.” Biblically, extreme weather and earthquakes are presented as judgments of the LORD.
I believe that he still uses them to get our attention today. Unfortunately, much of this nation and world are just like the scoffers of Noah’s day when it comes to weather judgments. They all laugh at you or me whenever we tell them that the severe weather is sent by God to judge a rebellious people. The good news is, just like with Noah, the LORD knows, preserves, protects, and passes over those Who are HIS.
The wicked mockers, scoffers, and unbelievers, on the other hand – PERISH if they do not repent. God says in His Word that He does not delight in the death of anyone, so those who do not take his warnings seriously will have no one to blame but themselves. He wills that all would heed His calls for repentance. Sadly, very few do these days. Hence, America has experienced judgment upon judgment throughout the past decade.
I explained in the previous hurricane article, and in my book, that one of the biggest reasons for God’s Wrath being poured out upon this nation is America’s mistreatment of Israel. I documented all of the connections between this nation’s most powerful hurricanes and U.S. leadership doing Israel wrong. I actually do not believe that Michael is being sent as a judgment for that reason this time around.
I have researched the dates of Michael’s formation and of when the hurricane is predicted to make landfall, and I could not find any connections concerning Israel. After the writing of this article, that could change. Today (October 10th), the date of landfall, the President or his administration could say or do something that is anti-Israel. I pray that will not be the case!
I also mentioned in the article and book that America has given the LORD far too many reasons to pour out His judgment upon this backslidden nation. Recent judgments have mostly all had to do with America attempting to divide Israel’s Land for potential “peace” with the murderous Palestinians, but I believe that the other reasons for incurring God’s Wrath are:
- Removing Him from the public square
- Widespread blasphemy and moral decay
- Legalizing SIN – such as Same-Sex Marriage
- False-god worship
- National decline in Biblical belief
- Sexual rebellion against God
- Holocaust of America’s babies through abortion
I could give many more reasons, but I believe that these are the biggest and most obvious.
Michael first formed in the Caribbean as Tropical Depression #14 on October 6th. In my research of the connection of Hurricane Michael to any specific judgment-provoking events in recent U.S. history, I did discover that a God-provoking Supreme Court decision occurred on the same date.
On October 6th, 2014, the Obama administration’s liberal-leaning SCOTUS paved the way for the nationwide legalization of Gay Marriage (coming 9 months later in June 2015). 4 years to the day of Michael’s formation, the Court declined to hear appeals from 5 States who sought to uphold their bans on same-sex marriage.
The SCOTUS slamming the door on those, and all other future appeals, cleared the way for the expansion of Gay Marriage to over 30 States. Could Category-4 Michael forming on the 4-year Anniversary of that decision be the reason for God’s judgment coming upon America? I believe it very well could be, but throughout the past decade – the U.S. has given Him no shortage of reasons.
ArchAngel Michael is God’s Warrior who fights against evil. He stands against anything that is against God. He was the one who defeated Lucifer, and who sent him falling from Heaven. While I believe evil thrived in this nation under the previous President, since Donald Trump took office – Obama’s Democrat Party, and their followers, have gotten more evil by the day.
Just look at the recent Supreme Court Hearing for Judge (Justice) Brett Kavanaugh… the wicked schemes by the Dems, along with the deceit, lies, hatred, and anger that was stoked against him and his supporters, was evil with a capital E. I don’t ever remember a time in my 38 years of life when this nation was so far from God.
Thus, I think it is only fitting that this coming judgment bears the name of His ArchAngel who wars against all that is evil.
As of the writing of this article, Michael is on pace to reach around 150 mph winds before making landfall. States of Emergency has been declared for Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Over 30 Counties in Florida, and about 2.5 million people, are under evacuation orders. About 3.7 million people are under hurricane watches and warnings. Florida’s Panhandle, from Pensacola to Apalachicola, and its Big Bend area are forecast to be the hardest hit.
Water levels have already begun to rise overnight, and the storm surge of ocean water could inundate more than 325 miles of coastline. Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Panama City Beach, and Apalachicola are expected to endure the worst of the hurricane’s effects.
The surge, or the rise in ocean water above normally dry land along the coast, could reach up to 15 feet – bringing damaging and life-threatening flooding to roads, property, homes, and businesses. The National Weather Service warned many buildings could be completely washed away and that “locations may be uninhabitable for an extended period” after the storm.
While the most severe hurricane conditions are expected along the coast, damaging winds and flooding rain are forecast to expand into neighboring States such as: Georgia, Alabama, and the Carolinas. “A potentially catastrophic event is developing,” wrote the National Weather Service forecast office.
The office warned of “widespread power outages, downed trees blocking access to roads and endangering individuals, structural damage to homes and businesses, isolated flash flooding and the potential for tornadoes.” Michael is expected to make landfall, on Wednesday afternoon, in or near Panama City Beach, Florida.
The hurricane is projected to strike an area that is exceptionally prone to storm surge because of the adjacent shallow shelf water and the concave shape of the coast. One news outlet described the storm’s potential surge coming ashore “like a bulldozer.” Power outages from the storm could last weeks to possibly months, according to local authorities.
The Weather Service tweeted that tropical-storm-force winds “currently extend more than 300 miles across.” To anyone that questions whether or not this hurricane is indeed a judgment sent by God, let me give you proof. Either the numbers associated with Hurricane Michael are coincidence upon coincidence, or it is all part of God’s perfectly-orchestrated plan.
I choose to believe the latter.
Michael officially became a named Tropical Storm on October 7th. I have written in my book, and in many previous articles, about why 7 is undoubtedly the number of God. Before becoming Michael, the storm was dubbed Tropical Depression (TD) 14. 14 is the equivalent of two sevens. So, in essence, Michael was TD 7-7, which formed on the 7th.
Yes, the most Holy number of our God and Father, YHWH: 7-7-7. On top of that, Michael is the 7th Hurricane of 2018, and also the 13 named storm. I have explained in the past why the number 13 is also associated with our God, as His Name in the Hebrew is “EL.” EL written in numbers would be 37 or 31, and flipped around would be 13 or 73.
It is also important to note that Hebrew is written and read from right to left, instead of the left to right that we are used to in the English language. So 13 would be EL when read in the Hebrew direction of reading. Also, Michael is striking on 10/10. He is first mentioned in the Holy Bible in Daniel, Chapter 10. If you choose to believe that all of the numbers associated with Michael are mere coincidence, feel free.
I would much rather believe in a perfect God, who perfectly orchestrates everything in His perfect time, in His perfect way, and to leave no doubt that He is behind this hurricane bearing the name of His Glorious ArchAngel Prince, MICHAEL. Repent and return to God America; because the widespread evil which this nation has been entrenched in, for the past decade, has been officially put on notice.

Michael made landfall near Mexico Beach, Florida, around 12:30 p.m. CDT with winds of 155 mph and wind gusts up to 175 mph. That is just 2 mph short of Category 5 status!
Michael is now the THIRD Most-Intense Storm on record to ever hit the United States. It is also THE Strongest Hurricane in 50 years!
Michael absolutely obliterated Mexico Beach and Panama City Beach.
“It looks like the APOCALYPSE,” a Florida law enforcement officer told CBS News.
The storm left more than 550,000 people without electricity in Florida, Alabama and Georgia, emergency services say. That number could grow.
Michael was so powerful that it remained a hurricane for about 12 hours after landfall while moving further inland. Michael was downgraded to a Category 3 nearly 6 hours after landfall, then dropped to a Category 2 about an hour later, a Category 1 another hour later, and finally weakened to a Tropical Storm around 12:00 am Thursday morning.
The National Hurricane Center said the storm was the “worst case scenario” for the region.
Mexico Beach, which took a direct hit from Michael, is being described as “decimated,” “destroyed,” and “in ruins.” The aftermath photos certainly don’t lie.
Nearly 2-million homes are without power in the aftermath of Michael.
It is estimated that the historic hurricane caused $25-30 billion in damages.
On April 19th, 2019, Michael was upgraded to a Category 5 Hurricane.
“And there was war in heaven: MICHAEL and his Angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
