First Facebook, then Twitter, now Google. The big three tech giants are all becoming widely known as hostile toward Conservative Christians. You’ve all read about the suppression and censorship that this website has endured on Facebook over the past few years. Twitter was also exposed recently for censoring Conservative Christian content. Now, though Google has always appeared to hold an anti-Christian bias, a few believers have actually documented solid proof.
Many Christians who use the smart device “Google Home”, which is similar to Amazon’s “Alexa”, have recorded videos revealing what appears to be blatant omission by Google programmers of our Lord Jesus Christ. The virtual assistant voice in the Google Home device (and some smart phones) gives a detailed biography of every “religious figure”, except one… JESUS CHRIST.
Google Home can tell you about Allah, Muhammad, Buddha, Krishna, and many other false gods, but as to the Saviour of the world, God in the flesh, and the Lord of lords, NOT SO MUCH. Though His Name is more well known than any other figure in human history, and He was so important to mankind that we actually keep time by Him (i.e. BC & AD), still Google has no clue Who He ever was or is.
Forgive me for not believing that this is an “innocent mistake” by Google. They, Facebook, and Twitter have been caught in these controversies too many times for this to be some “technical error”. I believe someone at Google HQ gave the order to scrub Jesus from their smart device’s memory. It is obvious censorship of the Name above all names.
In the videos documenting Google Home’s cluelessness when it comes to Jesus, users ask the device who other religious figures are. In a viral video, one Google user asked who Allah was. She got a long thorough response from the Google assistant. She went on to ask who Buddha, Krishna, and other false gods were, and she received detailed profiles for each of them.
Other users asked about Satan, Muhammad of Islam, and Joseph Smith of Mormonism, and again got detailed descriptions for all of the above. Yet, whenever Google Home or Google smartphones were asked about “Jesus Christ”, the virtual assistant replied “Sorry, I don’t know how to help with that yet.” When asked about “Jesus”, the device replied “My apologies. I don’t understand.”
David Sams, a television producer, author and speaker from Tennessee, asked the same questions but also asked who he himself was. “I asked Google who is David Sams? Google knew who I was, but Google did not know who Jesus was,” Sam said. After this concerning story hit the mainstream news media, Google released a statement saying, “It meant no disrespect to Christians or the Son of God. The reason the Google Assistant didn’t respond with information about ‘Who is Jesus’ or ‘Who is Jesus Christ’ wasn’t out of disrespect but instead to ensure respect.”
Really?? To hide the Saviour of the world from human beings wanting to know Him is “respect”. If that is the case, then by offering responses about Allah, Buddha, Krishna and other so-called “gods”, did Google mean disrespect to those religions? Sorry Google, not buying that one. Seems to me that there is only ONE God that Google doesn’t want its users to know, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. SHAME on you Google. This isn’t the first time that Google has been called “anti-Christian”. The year 2017 marked the 17th year in a row that the Google company didn’t recognize “Easter” on their main page. The “Google Doodle” is the graphic displaying the company name above the search tab on Google’s website. The images commemorate special occasions and holidays. Well, that is every holiday except for Biblical ones.
There have been Google Doodles for Islam’s “holiday” of Ramadan, for Hindu religious festivals, and for LGBT advocates (like the one who designed the infamous rainbow flag). When it comes to ancient Christian celebrations of Christmas or Easter though? No Doodles for us. Even though this has been a Christian Nation since the birth of America. Apparently, Google is comfortable in IGNORING that.
Also, there is something else that Google ignores on a daily basis, and that is Conservative Christian websites and content. Biblical Signs In The Headlines has been “REJECTED” for inclusion into Google News 3 times already. Yet, there are much smaller blogs included there, which are filled with nothing but ads. Does that seem right or fair to you? It is just more bias on the net that I have to wrestle with.
I recently read a study which found that “Google Search is found to be biased in favor of left/liberal domains, and against Conservative/Christian domains with a confidence of 95 percent.” Wow. That sure explains a lot. The study also found that certain “Conservative and Christian domains were blacklisted,” while the good standing of “hard-Left and Liberal domains” in search results “raised suspicions that they have been hand-picked for prominent placement.”
You can all see why I don’t believe for one second that Google omitting the Name of Jesus Christ from their devices is an overlooked mistake. It is blatant. The liberal powers that be in the tech world of Facebook, Twitter, and Google desire to shape your worldview. The absolute LAST worldview they want you to hold is a BIBLICAL one. So, since they can’t stop you picking up your Holy Bible at home, or from attending your Church, they will just prevent you from seeing Christian content on the internet.
They hold all the power, and whether through suppression, blocking, blacklisting, censoring or downright removing, they don’t want you to visit this website or others like it. They don’t want you becoming a Holy Bible thumper, like me, who opposes their Godless agenda for America and the world. So they will flood your search results on Google with liberal-oriented content. They’ll fill your Facebook and Twitter newsfeeds with left-leaning news stories to indoctrinate you. Finally, when it comes to using any of these social media platforms to learn about your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they’ll all say “JESUS WHO??”
