Mary, Joseph, and Saint John: Historic Disasters of 5777 Have Had Astounding BIBLICAL Connections

On the Feast of Trumpets, the first night of Rosh Hashanah 5778, two names dominating mainstream news coverage are Biblical – JOSEPH and MARY. A third well-known name amongst believers has also been capturing headlines, and that is Saint JOHN. I do not believe that this is all coincidence, but rather that God is trying to get our attention. By connecting 3 of the most recognizable people in His Son’s earthly life to recent historic judgments, I believe the Father is signalling that Lord Jesus is EN ROUTE to soon rapture the faithful.

So, exactly how have Jesus’ earthly guardians and the author of Revelation been associated with the recent historic disasters? The first connections that I noticed came during Hurricane Harvey. A statue of the Virgin Mary was the ONLY item left standing after a home burned to the ground in Corpus Christi, Texas. It is very interesting that Corpus Christi, the City which bore the brunt of Harvey’s initial landfall, is Latin for the “Body of CHRIST”.

About 3 days after Harvey dissipated, another massive Hurricane formed, and was named after God’s chosen Virgin – MARIA. For those who don’t know, Maria is the Italian/Spanish translation for MARY. I will delve a lot more into this monster hurricane, which could threaten the mainland United States next week, after I delve into the connections to Mary’s husband, our Lord’s earthly father, JOSEPH. 

I find it breathtaking that, at the close of the significant Biblical year 5777, the 2 strongest storms spinning in the ocean are named after our Lord’s earthly parents, Mary and Joseph. If you can’t hear God speaking to America and the world right now, then you simply are NOT LISTENING. I feel as if the LORD is shouting at the world, “RETURN TO ME!” 

Hurricane Jose was a hurricane for nearly two weeks, but is currently a Tropical Storm, churning like a snail off the east coast of America. Jose is the English translation of the Hebrew name Yosef or JOSEPH. What’s most interesting, and compelling, about Mary and Joseph storms being active at the same time is that they may INTERACT next week. With all of the Biblically significant events and disasters that have occurred over the past month, it certainly peaks my curiosity to see what God has planned if Mary and Joseph come together off the coast of the USA.

I said “like a snail”, when  describing Jose’s movement, because the storm is literally PARKED off the east coast. Meteorologists say that Jose “is going nowhere fast”. Jose is currently a little over 100 miles off of America’s shoreline, but the storm’s circulation is large enough to envelope parts of the U.S. in its bands of high winds and heavy rain. 10-to-20 foot waves are crashing ashore in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Coastal flooding is expected along the coastline as long as Jose stays put. 

The storm’s gusty winds are expected to continue through the weekend. With 3 days of persistent winds, tree damage and power outages are expected to occur. In another weird occurrence of this historic storm season, Jose is forecast to “loop around” in place. Joseph will eventually head toward the eastern U.S. as a Tropical Storm, or may even continue to remain in place until it interacts with Maria. INTERESTING that the Joseph storm could actually be waiting around to interact with Mary!

Jose became a Hurricane on September 6th. 2 days later, it became a powerful Category 4 hurricane. This had marked the first and ONLY TIME in Atlantic history that two active hurricanes simultaneously had recorded wind speeds of at least 150 mph (the other hurricane was IRMA). Jose was officially downgraded to a Tropical Storm on September 19th, after nearly two weeks as a strong hurricane. Early next week, if Jose does not turn toward the U.S., it is expected to be right in the path for a meeting with Maria. Jose currently packs winds of up to 73 mph, which extend over 200 miles from the center of the storm. 

Now back to MARY… Hurricane Maria has a lot of Biblical connections in itself. It is the SEVENTH hurricane of 2017, and I have explained many times why Almighty God’s number is “7”. Also, Maria is the 13th named storm of the Season. While many Christians are looking to “September 23rd” for some sign in the heavens (which I believe isn’t as rare as advertised), I believe they are missing what God is really trying to use to get our attention. 

Instead of applying Revelation 12 to September 23rd, I think we could be better applying it to Hurricane Maria. Now, while this current sign isn’t appearing in Heaven, I still think it is symbolic – “I saw a Woman (MARY) clothed with the Sun (recent Eclipse of the century), with the moon (recent Supermoon of the century) under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars (12 previous hurricanes) on her head. She was pregnant, and she CRIED OUT because of her labor pains and the agony of giving birth.”

Many who endured the wrath of hurricane Maria gave the same eerie description of the storm, saying that “the wind sounds like a WOMAN SCREAMING at the top of her lungs!” WOW. When exactly do you hear women screaming at the top of their lungs? While GIVING BIRTH. Now, am I dogmatic that this is all tied in with Revelation 12? No, absolutely not. Obviously that Prophecy is meant to occur in the heavens (not September 23rd either). I’m just pointing out interesting connections. Also, it sure sounds a lot more convincing than the “September 23rd” theory, which I believe is full of holes. 

Hurricane Maria was formed on September 16th. 2 days later, Maria strengthened to a massive Category 5 storm. This made Maria the 10th most intense Atlantic hurricane on record. On September 20th, Maria made landfall in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico, as a high-end Category 4 hurricane, with winds of 155 mph. Maria was the strongest hurricane to hit Puerto Rico in nearly a century.

A day before, Dominica was the target of Maria, and “total devastation” has been reported on the island. According to initial estimates, the hurricane caused damage to 90% of the structures on Dominica. Puerto Rico’s governor used the same words to describe Maria’s aftermath – “total devastation”, and he also said that Maria was “something of historic proportions”. The hurricane slammed the US territory with such intensity, that it broke two National Weather Service radars there. 

Hurricane scientists say they can’t find the words to describe Maria’s awesome intensity. 100% of the residents of Puerto Rico were left without electricity after the storm. Maria also slammed another U.S. island, St. Croix, as a Category 5 storm a day earlier, with 175 mph winds. Maria has now set course for the Bahamas, and eventually toward the East Coast of the United States. 

Could Maria be America’s THIRD JUDGMENT, following Harvey and Irma? Time will tell. Either way, this storm interacting with tropical storm Joseph will be interesting to monitor. Finally, I have noticed many connections to “Saint John”. For those of you who don’t know your Holy Bibles, there is no one more well known regarding “Last Days” Biblical Prophecies than Jesus’ beloved disciple JOHN.

He wrote 4 books of the New Testament in our Holy Bible, but is best known for penning the Book of “REVELATION”. I find it no coincidence that the name “Saint John” keeps making the headlines during all of these historic disasters which have followed the August 21st “Eclipse of the Century”. During Hurricane Irma, the “St. John’s River” in Jacksonville, Florida experienced its worst storm surge flooding since 1864. 

Irma also left disaster in its wake on the U.S. Virgin Island of “St. John”. This island was also slammed by Hurricane Maria. Finally, the most recent of two monster earthquakes to strike Mexico in two weeks, had its epicenter in the city of SAN JUAN Raboso. SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, also saw devastation from Harvey, Irma, Jose, AND Maria. “San Juan” translates to “Saint John” in English. 

To recap… following the Eclipse, EVERY major disaster has borne a significant connection to Lord Jesus’ guardians, MARY and JOSEPH, and to His beloved disciple who wrote “REVELATION”, Saint JOHN. I have believed for many years that we are in the Season of the Rapture, but with all of the recent “Last Days” signs being accompanied by connections to, arguably, the 3 most important figures in our Lord’s earthly Life… I believe He is at the gates preparing to make His DESCENT. So, chin up, pack up, and look up, because I believe we are going up SOON. Shanah Tovah, and marana tha!
