“The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” – 1st Samuel 16:7
Today, there are believers all around this world from every nation, culture, tribe, and color. Yet, instead of being united in Christ like God wills, many among us are hating their brothers and sisters simply because of the shade of their skin. This is why I felt called to pen a chapter about the sin of racism in my second book, EVEN MORE Signs of Our Times, and to address the issue from a Biblical perspective.
As I wrote in the book, when we are “in Christ,” we are all equal in God’s Sight. I am not any more favored by the Lord than an African believer, Jewish believer, Arab believer, Spanish believer, or Asian believer. We are all “one race” in Christ Jesus. We’re all one family. We’re all members of the Church, regardless of denomination. We are all members of one body, of which He is “the Head” (Romans 12:4-5, 1st Corinthians 10:16-17 and 12:12, Ephesians 1:22 – 2:19-22 – 4:15-16 – 5:23, and Colossians 1:18).
Our God wills that all men and women, everywhere – and of every color – would come to Him through His Son, the Prince of Peace. Only then can we experience lasting peace and equality in our divided nation and world. These two long-sought-after things can never be obtained through any government, political leaders, laws, or affirmative action; but are only found in God alone. The ever-growing racial tension that’s been sweeping the nation is just one of the many consequences of forcing God out of America – at a time when we need Him more than ever.

Always remember, believers are only one color in God’s sight – RED. That’s the color of His Son’s sinless Blood that was shed for all on Calvary’s Cross, regardless of your skin color. The same Holy Blood that washes, cleanses, covers, and saves me, does the exact same for you. So, let us begin to see one another as our Heavenly Father sees us – as Family. We’re brothers and sisters in Christ, so let’s start acting like it!
