JERUSALEM… There is no other city on the face of the planet that has ever meant more to Almighty God. He has called it His “Holy City” and the city in which He has put His name. It is the city where our Lord Jesus Christ will reign from after He comes back down and rules over Earth during the Millennium. Also, no other city has seen more conflict since Jesus ascended into Heaven nearly 2,000 years ago.
Though Almighty God has stated in His Word about a thousand times that the Holy City belongs to His Jewish people, the muslims – and specifically the Palestinian muslims – claim that it is rightfully theirs. According to the Bible, they have absolutely no claim whatsoever to any of the Holy Land.
Jerusalem will unfortunately never know true peace until the Prince of Peace comes back down, and that is why the LORD commands us to “pray for the peace” of Jerusalem.
The devil wants to destroy Jerusalem.
That is why the Palestinian terror groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad fire rockets into the Holy City and burn it down as much as they possibly can year after year. This proves that the city being “holy” in Islam, or to the Palestinians, is a lie. Who on Earth would ever burn a parcel of land that they believe to be holy?
That is also why when the Antichrist comes against Israel in the Battle of Armageddon, he specifically sets his sights on destroying Jerusalem. Thankfully, he fails. The Lord puts an end to him and his armies before he can put an end to the city of our great King.

The next article about my book will close out a three-week series about Israel. It will focus on their many enemies of this world. Some are obvious and others you may not be so familiar with; but they were all named by God in the Holy Bible, and are fulfilling His prophecies as we speak. It is just one of the many reasons why our Lord is en route and will be rapturing us very soon. Armageddon is on the horizon, and that means that we’re a geddon outta here!
