Brian G. Murphy, a gay activist who calls himself a “Christian,” is co-founder of the “Queer Theology” website. He recently claimed that Jesus is “polyamorous” and that believers should also be. “I’m a Christian and I’m polyamorous. I’m also kind of a slut. The reclaimed empowering kind of a slut – like Jesus,” Murphy blasphemously said in a new video.
He went on to say, “Jesus is polyamorous. We know this already if we don’t think about it or put it in those terms. If you’re one of those Christians who believe in having a personal relationship with Jesus, well Jesus is having personal relationships with billions of other people. He’s kind of a relationship slut”. Jesus was a “SLUT”?! What is the world coming to when this kind of garbage about the Saviour of the world can be propagated?
If this guy was intentionally blaspheming our Lord, that would be one thing. Unfortunately, so many across the world do everyday. It would be nothing new. The sad fact is that he actually believes this nonsense, and is leading other confused sinners to believe it as well. He says that the book of Ephesians supports his “theology.”
He says, “In Ephesians 5, Paul specifically uses the word ‘marriage’ to refer to Jesus’ relationship with us. Repeatedly, Paul reminds us that Jesus gave himself for us. Us. The church, which Paul describes as the whole body of believers. In this marriage, Jesus isn’t married to one person. He’s married to the entire body of believers. Jesus is in a pan-sexual, polyamorous relationship with us. And so of course Christians can be polyamorous. It’s a biblical model of relationships.”
Un-freakin-believable!
These are lies straight from the pit of Hell. This guy has obviously never studied the Holy Bible. He is just another in a long line of Bible-cherry-pickers, looking for verses to somehow support his heretical beliefs. Where do I begin in breaking down this trash which he is teaching?
Let’s start with his definition of the Church.. Murphy says that it is made up of all believers, which is true, but what he fails to mention is that the Holy Bible refers to “the Church” as “HER.”
“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for HER, that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word.” – Ephesians 5:25-26
Not only does God inspire the Apostle Paul to distinctly describe the Church with a female pronoun, but He makes Paul repeat the word, “Her,” three times! Also, God made sure to liken Christ’s marriage with the Church (believers) unto the marriage between a “husband” and a “wife.” So, NO, Jesus is NOT in a “polyamorous” relationship with the Church; and He is most certainly not “Pansexual.”
For those of you who don’t know what a Pansexual is, as I also originally had no idea, it is defined as the sexual or romantic attraction towards people “regardless of their sex or gender identity.” Factually, Jesus Christ was not, is not, and never will be, attracted to men. No matter how much the LGBT community tries to twist and pervert verses of the Holy Bible to make it appear so, He was the sinless Son of Almighty God. He was our all-Holy God in the flesh.
So, how in the world could the God Who condemns homosexual activity actually “be” homosexual? He couldn’t. He wasn’t. He isn’t. That is what bugs me so much about the LGBT community.. It’s one thing if you want to sin against God, and refuse to repent, because you disagree with your Maker’s point of view. It is a whole ‘nother blasphemous matter altogether when you try to justify your sins against Him by rewriting the Holy Bible to suit your abominable lifestyle.
The latter is exactly what the activists of the “Queer Theology” movement are trying to do. Murphy went on to compare us leading others into a personal relationship with Christ to how Murphy himself feels when his “sexual partners” have relations with someone besides himself.
He said, “You know how you feel when something good happens to someone you care about? When your friend, child, neighbor, co-worker connects with the divine? That’s how I feel when my partners date or meet someone new or are just head over heels for someone else. How beautiful, how majestic that they get to have more love in their life? And how exciting that someone else gets to experience the amazingness of my partner.”
Absolutely disgusting! We aren’t bringing poor sinners to Christ so that He can “sleep with them.” That comparison is beyond blasphemous. This guy needs to do some serious repenting, and quick! God forgive him, and any others who are promoting this filth to lost souls.
In previous articles, and in my new book, I have explained why I so strongly oppose the LGBT “Pride” movement. I was clear that I did not hate the people, but rather their anti-God movement. This article is just another example, of many, why I do not believe that you can be practicing homosexual and a Christian.
There are many confused human beings who are unable to find love with the opposite sex, and so they turn to members of their own gender for the affection they seek. Some, at a young age, are sexually abused by an older member of their own gender. Others are deceived to believe that sexual relations with the same gender is totally “normal” and ok in today’s day and age, due to the constant barrage of homosexual material in the Godless mainstream media.
I have long said, and will continue to say, that no one is “born gay.” I believe that one of the three factors mentioned above can lead you to THINK that you are gay, when in reality – you are either lonely, emotionally scarred, re-programmed by LGBT propaganda, consumed with lust for anything or anyone, or simply confused. The world can “make” you gay, but God never brings you forth from the womb with homosexual tendencies or desires.
I believe what the homosexual community is truly seeking is what every other human being in this world since the dawn of time has been seeking – LOVE. What they fail to realize, as so many today do, is that true love can only be found in GOD. You cannot find love in any other person, place, or thing on planet earth. If you do not have an intimate relationship with your Creator, then it is impossible to experience the true feeling of love or reap the blessings in whatever relationships you are engaged in.
“God is love” (1st John 4:8). If you do not believe in God, do not believe in His Son Who laid down His life for you, do not believe God’s Word, do not strive to keep His commandments, and do not seek His Presence in your life everyday, then you can NEVER know love. Sure, you can know friendship, companionship, and lust, but you will not know love.
So, I’m sure many will ask – how then do I know the love of God in my life? God has made clear that all we are called to do is to BELIEVE. But, be sure that belief isn’t just something that you say. The “Queer Theology” movement, like the gay man in this article who says Jesus was a “slut,” claim to be Christians. They claim to be believers. But are they really?
People can say that they believe in Jesus Christ all day long, but if the Character of the Jesus that they are believing in deviates in any way from the Person of Jesus in the Holy Bible – their faith is useless. For faith without works is dead (James 2:17).
If you truly believe in God, and His Son our Lord Jesus Christ, then you will live like you do. That entails humbling yourself under His mighty hand, repenting of your sins (past, present, and future), giving thanks to Him, paying heed to the Holy Spirit in His Word, and striving to be obedient to His Commandments. I’m sorry to say, but you cannot be a Christian if you are not doing all of these things.
These things are not burdensome to do, and performing these works of faith bring us nothing but blessings. This “Queer Theology” movement is not of God. It is pulling many confused sinners even further away from God by transforming Jesus into something that He is not. These blasphemous so-called “Christian teachers” in the LGBT community are teaching that He Who knew no sin (2 Corinthians 5:21) was actually a lust-filled sinner just like the rest of us.
Do not be led astray by their demonic doctrines! Jesus NEVER sinned. Not once. If He did, then our faith is in vain; and the whole age-old doctrine of a Perfect Holy God dying for an imperfect and unholy human race is meaningless. The Truth is, He was Perfect, all-Holy, and sinless, in every way. Thanks be to God that He was, or else we would all be burning in an eternity of Hell.
He sure, as Hell is hot, was not “polyamorous,” had no homosexual tendencies, and He didn’t even have sexual relations with women while on earth. In order for us poor sinners to be forgiven our many iniquities by a Holy Father in Heaven, our Sacrifice had to be wholly undefiled. As the unblemished Lamb of God, Jesus truly was. By knowing and truly believing this, along with repenting of our many sins that He died for, we can truly KNOW the Love of God.
