RACISM: What Does God Have To Say About It?

In my 2+ years of writing, I have only touched on the issue of Racism a few times. This is primarily because I do not believe we will ever eradicate the disgusting ideology if we pay its adherents attention. The mainstream media constantly has debates as to how we can stamp out Racism, but at the same time they air protests and rallies highlighting racist groups. The liberal media just adds more fuel to the dangerous fire and creates more division, not less. 

This will be one of those rare articles where I will tackle the issue of racism head on, because it is again dominating the news and social media today. I want to explain what God has to say about racism, and how we Holy Bible believers are meant to respond to it. First off, there are whites and blacks who claim to be believers, yet they peddle divisive belief systems. They are not true believers, because the fact is that TRUE Christians can NEVER be racist. 

The reason that this issue is taking center stage today is because Richard Spencer, who was responsible for the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville a few months back, is giving a controversial speech at the University of Florida. Protesters have surrounded the College, and most on social media are chiming in on the event. So, what does God, and what do I have to say about Richard Spencer? First, let’s examine what he believes, and then I will determine whether or not Christians should oppose or support his ideology. 

Spencer has said that “White people should have their own nation, separate from people of colour.” This goes against God’s Will for mankind, and I will explain why in a second. Spencer claims to have created the “Alt-Right,” which describes a group that rejects traditional “Religious Right” Conservatism in favour of white supremacist, and anti-Semitic beliefs. This is also completely 110% against God’s Word, and no Christian should be a part of this group. 

Hundreds of members of this group, comprised mostly of Nazis, KKK members, and white nationalists marched on the University of Virginia in Charlottesville this past August for their “Unite the Right” rally. They carried tiki torches, and they chanted slogans like, “the Jews will not replace us”. If any Holy Bible believer can support this group, for any reason, you are obviously not reading the Holy Book which you claim to believe. 

As to Spencer’s view that “whites should have their own nation, devoid of black or brown-skinned people”, it is antithetical to the Word of God. Our God and Lord have NEVER seen people in COLOR. The LORD looks at the HEART of man, and not the shade of his skin. From the time that He first created Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, God has viewed the human race in only two ways – BELIEVER or UNBELIEVER. Period. The LORD is “COLORBLIND”, meaning that we will all be judged in the end by our FAITH, and nothing else. 

White, black, yellow, or brown will all be judged just the same. If you are Jewish or Christian then you are a child Of God, and you are my brother and sister. If you are anything else, while it may be politically incorrect to say so, it is Biblically correct to say that you are a bastard child, and not my brother and sister. There are believers from every nation, from every background, from every culture, of every color, and we are all EQUAL in God’s Sight. I am no more favored by the Lord than a black believer, or an arab believer, or an asian believer. 

Whoever is covered in the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ, is saved, blessed, favored, and beloved to God. As much as it may pain white supremacists or those who teach Black Liberation Theology, it is an undeniable Truth of God’s Word. No skin color makes you superior over another human being. God wills that all men of every nation, tribe, color, and creed would come to Him through Jesus. If you disagree with that, or have a problem with that, then you are directly contending with the Creator of us all. 

The color of your skin, your political identity, nationalism, societal position, financial standing, tradition, creed, and good deeds in this world CANNOT save you. Only JESUS CHRIST can. If you don’t know Him, then it doesn’t matter how superior you may think that your race is over everyone else, you are destined for Hell. As long as we believe in the Savior of the world (ALL races), we are all on a level playing field with God, and we will all be rewarded or judged just the same. 

True “EQUALITY” in this nation and world cannot be found in any government, or laws and affirmative action, but ONLY IN GOD. The growing racial tension and divisiveness in this Country is one of many consequences for forcing God out of America, and at a time when we need Him more than ever. There is only ONE Answer to the United States’ many societal ills, and His Name is JESUS. Without Him, things will never ever get better. NEVER. 

We as Christians must place our Faith in Him and in God’s Eternal Word above all else. Above your nation, above political parties, above widely-embraced unGodly doctrines being taught in Schools, above worldly trends, above culture, and above your RACE. If any man or woman places their RACE over their FAITH, then their Faith is MEANINGLESS. There are many examples of men doing that today, and on both sides of the debate. 

I’m not for certain if Richard Spencer claims to be a Christian, but his belief system leads me to believe that he is not. Also, there are those who CLAIM to be Christian, but who are sowing the seeds of racial strife and bringing up racial injustices that were done HUNDREDS of years ago. I’m speaking of men like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Colin Kaepernick, or popular entertainers like Jay Z and many others. I’m speaking of groups like the KKK, American White Nationalists, Black Lives Matter, and Nazis. 

They can claim to be “Christian” all that they want, but their divisive rhetoric, and riotous methods to achieve “justice” are not of God. True Christians can never be a part of  movements that encourage rioting, theft, property damage or violence. Their brand of “justice” is NOT the Justice of our God. If someone deserves justice, God will bring it to them. We as Christians and Jews are to leave vengeance and justice in HIS Hands, and not take it into our own. 

The slogan of the Black Lives Matter movement is “No Justice, No Peace”, but until their slogan becomes “Know JESUS, Know PEACE”, they will never see justice nor peace. As for the Alt-Righters on the other side of the racial divide, their chants of “Jews will not replace us” are laughed at by Almighty God. The Jews are YaHWeH God’s Chosen people, and when they come to their Messiah Jesus in the last days, be assured that THEY WILL replace every one of those Godless and anti-semitic pieces of trash like Richard Spencer. 

So how should a Christian view groups like Black Lives Matter, the Black Panthers, the Nation of Islam, the KKK, the Alt-Right, and the rest? We should view them as what they are, whether white or black, they are all divisive, racist, Godless TRASH. When we, or the media, continue to give groups like these a platform, their hatred will never disappear. Sadly, it will most likely spread like wildfire. While these groups may be popular among the youth today, they are antithetical to God’s Will for us. 

Black Lives Matter, while claiming to combat racism, is keeping racism alive and well in this country. They are putting blacks into another “category”, just like the white supremacists place whites into their own category. This should not be so! If you truly want all people to be equal to achieve the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, then stop ALIENATING yourself or labeling yourself as an “other”. As I eluded to earlier, God doesn’t see us in color, so then why do we focus so much on it? 

If you are a Holy Bible believer then you are my brother and sister, and the complexion of your skin has absolutely no bearing on that! White or black, if we are Christians then we should be focused on spreading the Gospel across the world. We should not be focused on “worldly” issues like reparations for slaves from 200 years ago. Yes it was a shame, and a stain on history, but NONE OF US in America today own slaves. 

Like every other white man or woman in this nation, my father did not, my grandfather did not, and my great grandfather did not. On the flipside, if you are a black American, your father was not, and your grandfather was not “a SLAVE”. On top of all this, if you really want to constantly bring up slavery, then first acknowledge who the very FIRST recorded slaves in history were… the JEWS. 

The Hebrew Jews in Egypt were slaves long before the African Americans, and that makes anti-Semites like Al Sharpton HYPOCRITES. So, if you are a Christian, learn from the mistakes of others in history, but don’t dwell in the past. Focus on your PRESENT calling in Christ, to take His Good News to everyone you meet, and to alert others that we are in the Season of the Rapture and His RETURN. 

Friends, there will ALWAYS be racists, white and black, and that is because not everyone knows God. The heart of man is corrupt, and prone to evil. So, without God’s Spirit, Satan can enter the hearts of men to divide and destroy. We cannot change the hearts of anti-Semites or racists, only The Lord can. We can oppose them in word, but be sure that no laws, public policy, or court judgments will ever end racism. 

The only thing that will ever eventually end it is more converts to our Good Lord. In HIM, there can be no hatred toward another human being. He brings total Peace, for He is the Prince of Peace. Hate is of the devil, and racism is the epitome of HATE. This nation and the world will never know TRUE PEACE until we return to the Lord our God. For He is the Only One Who can ever bring healing to this sick and divided world. 

If we want to truly end racism, the mainstream media needs to focus less on dividers like Richard Spencer and Colin Kaepernick, and more on the one and only Uniter, the LORD. The only COLOR that God ever acknowledges is RED, because that is the color of His Son’s sinless Blood shed for ALL mankind to cover us. So in conclusion, I’m not white, and I’m not black, but rather I’m forever thankful to be BLOOD RED in His Sight. SO SHOULD YOU.
