It has long been known by myself and fellow Christian culture warriors that there is an unGodly agenda in America’s public schools to indoctrinate your children. The liberal elite in this nation have been hell-bent on forcing curriculum about the LGBT movement, Islam and Evolution down your kids throats, thus polluting their young impressionable minds. Some teachers promoting this agenda have felt so emboldened that they discriminate against and persecute Christian students who object. The most recent case involves a lesbian teacher in Florida who forced at least three students in her class to remove their Cross necklaces. One of those students reports that Ms. Lora Jane Reidas, her Math teacher, approached her and said “I need you to take your necklace off.”
When the student asked why, Riedas refused to explain and simply stated, “It’s disrespectful, and you have to take it off.” The student says that she “did not want to be disrespectful, so I took it off, but I felt bad because I felt like I was being forced to deny my Faith.” The Liberty Counsel, a Religious Liberty Law Firm, is speaking out on behalf of the students and says “All of our clients are afraid to openly wear their Cross necklaces in her class any more.”
The Liberty Counsel penned a letter to the Hillsborough County Public Schools’ Superintendent on behalf of the 9th Grade students which states, in part, that Ms. Riedas forced her Christian students to remove their crosses and is using the classroom in Riverview High School as a platform for her LGBT activism. Riedas has banned at least 3 students from wearing Crosses in her class, claiming on occasion that they are ‘gang symbols’.
According to the Counsel, Riedas herself is a lesbian, and the School’s “Gay, Straight Alliance” sponsor. She engages in “political activism” in her classroom, which is “permanently decorated with LGBT political themes” including “buttons prominently displayed on her desk, facing students, stating ‘I Love My LGBT Students’ and ‘PROUD Public Employee’.”
Think about the outrage of liberal parents if a Christian teacher had ‘John 3:16’, ‘Pro-Life’, or ‘I Love My Bible-believing Students’ buttons displayed for their students. I’m sure the Christian teacher would be fired on day one. Yet this woman’s superiors at the School have had no problem with her LGBT Agenda on full display in the classroom.
As if all of this was not enough to get a God-fearing parent’s blood boiling, Ms. Riedas has also placed LGBT rainbow stickers on students’ folders without their consent. When one of the Christian students removed the LGBT sticker, she says that “Ms. Riedas’ behavior toward me changed for the worse.” The teacher is obviously seeking opportunities to engage in what is known as “classroom activism” directed by GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network).
GLSEN is the biggest perpetrator of forcing LGBT indoctrination into America’s schools. According to the Liberty Counsel, “GLSEN has called on teachers to use its Educator Guide to promote GLSEN’s views about homosexuality and gender confusion through events such as the ‘Day of Silence’. GLSEN’s guide encourages teachers to require students to engage in numerous forms of coercive, group, political activism, from grades K-12, regardless of parent desires or a student’s Religious beliefs.
There is no opt-out from classroom coercion. Students can either ‘go along to get along,’ or risk being ‘outed’ as disagreeing with the teacher’s LGBT viewpoint.” The Counsel’s letter also points out that Riedas retweeted GLSEN’s “Guide”, and outlines many other instances in which she tweeted or “liked” LGBT causes on social media DURING school hours.
Liberty Counsel argues that Riedas’ LGBT activism in the classroom violates school district policy, which states that teachers “may not campaign on school property during working hours on behalf of any political issue.” Liberty Counsel is requesting that the School District take immediate action to confirm that it will prohibit Riedas from “interfering with student Religious expression”, and from “promoting LGBT political activism at any time in the classroom”.
Every since Barack Hussein Obama assumed the Presidency in 2009, liberal public school teachers across America began cracking down on students who dared bring Holy Bibles into a classroom. Many, like Riedas, also confiscated Crucifixes and Rosaries, or banned God-related clothing on school property. In one deplorable case from April 2014, a 2nd-grader at Hamilton Elementary School in Texas had her Bible taken away by a teacher during “read to myself time”. Students were told that they could bring in personal books from home to read during this time, but apparently the Word of God was “off-limits”.
While the God of this Nation was being forced out of America’s schools maliciously throughout Obama’s tenure, LGBT and Islamic Indoctrination was being forced in. GLSEN joined with Planned Parenthood to promote sex-related curricula in schools, as early as Kindergarten. My brothers in Christ, Jason and David Benham, led the fight against the dangerous and demonic perversion of the minds of schoolchildren in North Carolina.
The Benhams exposed the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District’s “Gender Unicorn” and “Genderbread Person”, which were cartoon characters created to teach children about Transgender lifestyles. The cute cuddly characters, resembling Barney the dinosaur and the Gingerbread Man, were being used by teachers to help children explore and discover who they “go to bed as,” and who they would like to “go to bed with”. We’re talking kindergarten kids here!
The Benhams’ highlighted a CMS Training presentation on their Facebook Page which stated that “Parental involvement is dependent on the STUDENT’S permission”, “Students choose their OWN bathrooms and changing facilities” (meaning boys in girls room and vice versa), “Students can choose the gender they participate with during OVERNIGHT field trips”, and “Students shall not be referred to as ‘boys and girls’ in classrooms, but ‘scholars or students’”. WOW.
Thank God that the Benham Brothers were on the front line in this battle, because they definitely brought awareness to parents concerning these abominable lessons which were creeping into schools across the nation. Besides the sexual and perverted LGBT material being forced on young children in schools throughout the Obama era, there was another evil indoctrination taking place. While anything having to do with Christianity and Judaism was being completely abolished from public schools, Islam was being forcefed to your kids.
In Obama’s “Common Core” material, Christianity and Judaism were not taught, and when Christianity was mentioned it was mocked and put down. The Judeo-Christian influence on our Nation was wiped out. Yet, there was an entire Chapter in a textbook, over 30 pages, which was dedicated specifically to Islam. NO Chapters for either Christianity or Judaism. No, not even a paragraph. 30 PAGES FOR ISLAM!
A Teacher’s lesson plan in Common Core includes: Teaching the 5 pillars of Islam, submission to the will of Allah, a call to Jihad, converting to Islam, what is Islam?, overview of the Quran and Sharia Law, Islam and the US, hate crimes and hope, spirit of Islam, root causes of muslim anger with the west, and a lesson on muslims creating a huge empire on 3 continents.
One Boston University Professor created a Common Core lesson plan which used role-playing workshops to teach students to sympathize with the HAMAS terror group in Gaza, to create a Palestinian state and DIVIDE the Holy City of JERUSALEM, the Eternal Capital of ISRAEL. Apparently today’s schools want to better prep kids to become liberal-minded robots in America’s colleges. Most major colleges today are infested with atheist Far-Left liberal professors who don’t just question God, but ATTACK Him, MOCK the Holy Bible, and alienate or publicly disgrace ANY students who disagree.
Go to any secular college today, and tell a Professor that you believe in God as CREATOR, or that Jesus Christ was born of a VIRGIN, or that he was RESURRECTED from the dead, or that the Holy Bible is the UNERRING Word of Almighty God, and above all, try to tell them that JESUS is coming BACK. These ignorant God-hating “teachers” will shout you down and laugh you to scorn. Ever seen God’s NOT Dead? If you haven’t, then I highly recommend it, as it is a spitting image of life for a believer on College Campuses in today’s day and age.
Worse yet, while God is being spit upon in schools, SATANIC MASSES are being held on college Campuses, and after-school Satanic clubs are available to grade-schoolers. An article about the hatred of God in schools would not be complete without addressing the suppression of Creationism. This is a disgrace to America, as our very FIRST Schoolbook was the Holy Bible. In a U.S. Supreme Court case, Edwards v. Aguillard (1987), judges ruled that a Louisiana Law which required public schools to teach evolution and Creationism side by side VIOLATED the Constitution’s prohibition on the “establishment of religion”.
So, because Creation has to do with GOD, though it is a FACT, it cannot be taught to your children. An empty theory by an atheist, on the other hand, is PREFERRED by the Government to be taught to your children as “fact”. What GARBAGE. We are no doubt living in an America which serves the god of extreme secularism and paganism. Our founders would spit on the Godless schools of today. They would be so upset with the removal of God from our school system. America’s first Schoolmaster, Noah Webster, said that “Education is USELESS without the Holy BIBLE. The Bible was America’s BASIC textbook in ALL fields. God’s Word, contained in the Bible, has furnished ALL necessary rules to direct our conduct.” Amen and amen.
When the Holy Bible was still preferred (and allowed) in public schools, the major disciplinary problems amongst students were gum chewing and talking in class. In 2017, many public schools are equipped with metal detectors because violence has become so bad. When you take God, the Ultimate Good, out of anything, something else has to fill the void; and that something is always the antithesis of God and the opposite of Good.
Satan and evil are definitely running amok in America’s public school system. James Dobson, the founder of Focus on the Family, recently said that Christian parents should pull their kids out of public schools and homeschool them. Given the rampant immorality, and increasing mistreatment of God-fearing students, I couldn’t agree more. If YOU don’t train up your child in the way they should go, then rest assured, the wicked WORLD will train them for you.
