GRADING THE PRESIDENCY (Year One): Is Trump Keeping Or Breaking His Campaign Promises?

One of my earliest and most popular articles compiled a list covering every Year, and even every Month of Barack Hussein Obama’s presidency. It highlighted the fact that every single one contained an act AGAINST Israel, proving my point that he was indeed the most Anti-Israel president of ALL-TIME. I penned the article out of the necessity to inform Christians and Jews about the dangers that Obama posed to our greatest Ally. Today, I felt the need to pen an article in a similar style about the new President Donald Trump. Obviously it will not be an article about him being an anti-Israel President but, instead, about how many of his “Campaign Promises” he is keeping which he made to Christians, Jews, and Israel.

I was highly critical of Donald Trump throughout the Presidential Election process, and was not shy in voicing my doubts that he would govern as a Conservative. Many of my fellow Christians disagreed and took him at his word. They have put their trust in him to fulfill the promises which he made on the Campaign trail. Thus, I intend to hold him accountable for every promise that he made to gain their votes.

Since the Republican Primaries, I’ve viewed Donald Trump as a liberal “New York Values” Republicrat, yet I hear many Conservative Christians say that he is governing like “one of us”. In the end, I sincerely pray that my pro-Trump friends are right and that he proves me wrong. I really do! It will not be difficult for Trump to keep his most important Campaign promises, as he has Republican majorities in the House, Senate, and in State Governors’ mansions. So, he should not be hindered one bit in enacting his agenda.

There were specifically 7 promises which he made to Holy Bible believers, and I will grade his Presidency on just how faithful he is in keeping these 7 pledges. They are:

* Move Israel’s U.S. Embassy to their Capital, JERUSALEM

* Appoint Supreme Court Justices who will overturn Gay Marriage and Roe V. Wade

* Defend the “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians

* DEFUND Abortion Wing of Planned Parenthood/Make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT

* Tear up the extremely BAD DEAL With Iran

* Halt Islamic Immigration from ALL Nations that breed Islamic Terrorism

* “Bomb the hell out of” and DESTROY ISIS

So, as I did with Obama, I will grade Trump on EVERY Year, even EVERY Month of His Presidency, and his grades will be solely dependent on his action or inaction concerning these promises. Though He was only President for just over 10 days in January, he was still very busy from day one, so that is where we will begin…

2017

– JANUARY –

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: When asked about his many Campaign Trail promises to relocate the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Israel’s Capital of Jerusalem, Trump said, “I don’t want to talk about it yet. It’s too early.” He also said, “We’ll see what happens”, and “There’s a CHANCE”. A “chance”?!? I don’t ever recall him saying on the Campaign Trail, “There’s a chance we may move the Embassy,” or “We’ll see”. No. He didn’t just casually SAY on one occasion, but rather PROMISED on multiple occasions, that he “WILL MOVE the American Embassy to the ETERNAL Capital of Israel, Jerusalem”. Yet today, like ALL Politicians do, now that he has assumed power, his promises have become empty and most likely BROKEN. An Arab newspaper reported that the White House informed Palestinian leadership that the U.S. President NO LONGER planned to move America’s Diplomatic Headquarters in Israel “at this stage”.

Trump’s White House Press Secretary seemed to confirm the report as true, just weeks after Trump’s Senior Adviser, Kellyanne Conway, and others in his Administration said that the embassy move was “a very big priority” for the President-Elect. Sean Spicer said that “NO DECISION” has been made on moving the Embassy. He said, “We’re at the very early stages of that decision-making process. The team is going to continue to consult with the State Department.” In layman’s terms, moving the Embassy is most definitely NOT “a very big priority” like others led Christians, Jews, and Israel to believe, if it even happens at all. In an interview with CBN News, Trump added even more doubt that he would keep his word, when he told an interviewer “The issue has two sides. I’m looking at it, we’re studying it. We’re studying it very long and hard. You know it’s a very big decision because every President for the last number of presidents, large number, they’ve come in and they were going to do it and and then all of a sudden they decide they don’t want to get involved.”

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: Trump announced that his long awaited Supreme Court nominee to replace Antonin Scalia was Judge Neil Gorsuch. I do not know very much about Gorsuch and where exactly he stands on overturning the Gay Marriage and Roe rulings, but I found an encouraging quote by the Judge that says, “liberals have become addicted to the courtroom, relying on judges and lawyers rather than elected leaders and the ballot box, as the primary means of effecting their social agenda on everything from gay marriage to assisted suicide to the use of vouchers for private-school education.” Liberal advocacy groups have labeled Gorsuch a “Conservative hardliner” because of his role in deciding a 2013 case involving Christian owners of the retailer Hobby Lobby. The ruling allowed owners of private companies to object on religious grounds to federal requirements that they provide insurance to employees that funds abortion services.

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: President Trump, when speaking to a Christian audience on the Campaign Trail said, “So let me state this right up front: In a Trump Administration, our Christian heritage will be cherished, protected, defended. Because if I’m there, you’re going to have plenty of power. You don’t need anybody else. You’re going to have somebody representing you very, very well. Remember that.” We sure will remember Donald, and that is the reason for this article. So far though, unfortunately, Trump appears to be breaking this pledge. Senior Trump adviser Jared Kushner and his wife Ivanka Trump inspired their father to scrap a potential Executive Order that would have overturned a pro-LGBT and anti-Religious Freedom Executive Order of the Obama Administration.

In another alarming breach of his pledge, the President’s White House released a statement which read, “President Trump continues to be respectful and SUPPORTIVE of “LGBTQ” rights, just as he was throughout the election. The President is proud to have been the first ever GOP nominee to mention the LGBTQ community in his nomination acceptance speech.” As far as my assumptions about Trump’s support for the “LGBT” agenda throughout the Election, it looks like he proved me 100% right, which is a massive disappointment. The decision to keep Obama’s Executive Order was hailed by gay and lesbian Republicans. The president of the Log Cabin Republicans, Gregory Angelo, said “Donald Trump campaigned promising to be a ‘real friend’ to the LGBT community, and now President Trump is delivering on that commitment”. So Trump is delivering for the LGBT community, but not the Christian community. Sounds like a BROKEN PROMISE to me.

To make matters worse, there were rumours of another Trump Executive Order coming that would serve as a national “Religious Freedom” Bill protecting Christian businesses and their Biblical conscience from LGBT or pro-choice attacks and lawsuits, to which White House press secretary Sean Spicer said that the Administration had NO PLANS to roll out. What a stab in the back of Holy Bible believers by Donald Trump. If however, the President is pressured enough by Christian organizations that helped to elect him, like the FRC (Family Research Council), and eventually does produce some kind of “Religious Freedom” Executive Order, which of Trump’s Executive Orders will trump the other? The President’s pro-LGBT Executive Order and a potential “Religious Freedom” Order would be completely at odds, yet both would be official United States Policy. Sadly, the only thing certain right now is that the LGBT Order stands, and the Religious Freedom Order has currently been AXED.

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: President Trump signed an Executive Order barring federal funds from organizations that promote abortion around the world, including the International Planned Parenthood Federation. While barring taxpayer funding of abortion internationally, Planned Parenthood in America has yet to be defunded. But to give Trump credit where credit is due, it is most definitely a step in the right direction. Republican Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa is currently sponsoring a Bill in Congress that would “redirect federal funds away from Planned Parenthood to other health care providers”. It is believed that Trump would sign this Bill if it came across his desk. Also, the “No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act”, which would make the Hyde Amendment PERMANENT, passed in the House of Representatives, and the Bill is awaiting a vote in the Senate.

Tear up the Iran Deal: After a recent provocative Iran Missile Test, Trump recently tweeted “Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE for firing a ballistic missile. Should have been thankful for the terrible deal the U.S. made with them! Iran was on its last legs and ready to collapse until the U.S. came along and gave it a life-line in the form of the Iran Deal: $150 billion.” Though Trump is talking tough to Iran, and still criticizing the terribly BAD DEAL with the Iranian regime, mainstream news sources are reporting that Instead of “tearing up” the Iran Nuclear Deal, the Trump administration is exploring how to tighten enforcement of the Deal and possibly “renegotiate” it’s key terms. Many experts on the matter say that it will be impossible to get other major world powers and Iran itself to consider making any changes to the Deal. So as of now, Trump is not tearing up the Deal as promised.

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: Trump signed an Executive Order imposing a 4 month (120 day) suspension of America’s Refugee Program and a 3 month (90 day) ban on travel to the U.S. from citizens of 7 terror hot spots: Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Sudan. While liberals were immediately up in arms, staging protests at airports across the Country, decrying the order as a “Muslim Ban”, in reality it was not a ban on muslims. Only citizens of seven predominantly Islamic nations were on Trump’s temporary ban list, while muslims from all other 240 countries of the world can still come and go in the Country as they please. In my opinion, Trump’s Executive Order did not go far enough.

I believe there should be a halt on ALL Islamic immigration to the United States if they refuse to assimilate into our Judeo-Christian way of life, and abide by our laws and values. Even if Trump does not ban all Islamic nations, he should at least add many more anti-israel and anti-Christian countries to his list, namely Palestine, Turkey, Jordan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Egypt. Even though liberal judges in America are doing their utmost best to block Trump’s travel ban, I must say that I applaud Trump for doing everything he can to prevent Islamic Terror in the homeland. I don’t agree with many of his actions thusfar, but on this issue, Trump has my full support.

Destroy ISIS: The President has obviously not accomplished this Campaign Promise yet understandably, as this will most likely take many years. He has issued an Executive Order which directs the Secretary of Defense to draw up a plan to “defeat ISIS” within 30 days.

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: Speaking at CPAC on February 23rd, Vice President Mike Pence said that the Trump Administration was in the “promise-keeping business”. The following day, President Trump told the same crowd that “all he does is keep promises”. Yet, we are over a month into Donald Trump’s Presidency, and still the U.S. Embassy in Israel has not been relocated to the Jewish State’s Eternal Capital of Jerusalem. This was the Campaign Promise which Trump and Pence both made numerous times during the Election. Unfortunately, as of right now, it appears to be their biggest BROKEN PROMISE. Middle East newspapers have reported that Donald Trump has conceded to pressure by Jordanian king Abdullah and will “REFRAIN” from relocating the Embassy. Palestinian news sources also have reported that the Trump Administration transferred a message to the Palestinian Authority that the embassy “WOULD NOT BE MOVING” to Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, in a joint Press Conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin NetanYahu, President Trump publicly asked NetanYahu to “HALT settlements”. He also put great emphasis on his desire to broker a “Peace Deal” between Israel and Palestine. He said that “the Israelis are going to show some flexibility, which is hard, it’s hard to do.” When Trump was pressed about his unkept promise to move the Embassy, he said “we’ll see what happens”. Like I said last month, his words are a far cry from his words on the Campaign Trail, when he reiterated many times that “WE WILL MOVE the Embassy to Israel’s Eternal Capital”. Unfortunately, “we will” and “we’ll see” are two vastly different stances. I believe that Trump has reneged on his Jerusalem promise because he’d rather “make a name for himself” globally by orchestrating the long elusive “Peace Deal” between Israelis and Palestinians.

I’ve said it many times before that there will NEVER be “peace in the Middle East” until the Prince of Peace, our Lord Jesus Christ, returns. Any Holy Bible believing Christians or Jews in Trump’s inner circle need to make him aware that any and all efforts to bring peace will be in vain. If he did, by chance, ever successfully broker a deal between Israel and it’s hostile Islamic neighbors, it would most likely be a 7 Year Deal, because that is the Last Days Prophecy. That Peace Deal eventually leads to the Battle of Armageddon, as it provokes God’s Wrath when the Land of Israel is divided (JOEL 3:2). The author of the “Art of the Deal” really seems to think that he’s the one to finally make “peace”, but the Author of the Holy Bible tells us that doing so will actually usher in the exact opposite, which is WORLD WAR. As far as Trump’s “Move The Embassy” Promise goes, it still appears that he has no intention of keeping it.

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: Last month, I said that I did not know very much about Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch, or where he stood on overturning the Gay Marriage and Roe rulings. This month, I have learned a little bit more about him, and unfortunately it still leaves me with more questions than answers. On the plus side, I’ve found that he sided with Hobby Lobby and the Little Sisters of the Poor when they felt that their Faith was under attack by the Obama Administration, as Obamacare was forcing them to offer their employees access to contraceptives. In 2009, Gorsuch opposed the removal of a Ten Commandments monument on public property. Also, in cases related to gender ideology and transsexualism, Gorsuch shot down claims that transsexuals were a protected class under the law, and rejected arguments that male-to-female transsexuals had a right to gender discrimination protection as “women,” given that their bodies are biologically male.

All of this makes Gorsuch sound like a very favourable candidate for the next Supreme Court Justice, and a worthy replacement of the late Conservative firebrand Justice Antonin Scalia. Yet, with every plus side, comes a downside. With every pro, there is usually a con. In my research of Gorsuch I found that he and his family attend an uber-liberal Episcopalian Church, St. John’s in Boulder, Colorado. The Church’s female pastor is known to champion far-left ideological causes. According to an exposé published by the Daily Mail, she openly supports Gay Marriage, and conducts blessings of same-sex couples. She attended the recent pro-abortion, pro-Islam, anti-Conservative “Women’s March on Washington”. She has been known to be a strong advocate for Islam. Now, if Gorsuch and his family weren’t loyal churchgoers at this Parish, and simply held a membership but did not faithfully attend services ran by this false Christian pastor, I’d say it wasn’t too much to be worried about.

Unfortunately, Gorsuch and his family are apparently very active in the Parish. Gorsuch himself regularly serves as an usher, his wife as a lector, and his two daughters have served in the worship services. On top of that, as a member of the Episcopal Church, St. John Parish adheres to resolutions passed by the body’s General Assembly. Some of these resolutions include “allowing practicing homosexuals to become priests and bishops”, “ceremonies for celebrating homosexual marriages”, and “opposing legal restrictions on abortion”. If Gorsuch has no problem regularly attending a Church that holds to such unGodly demonic doctrines, then how in the world can we trust him to stand on the right side of these issues in the Supreme Court? If he is fine with such abominable practices in a House of God, then why should we think that he would oppose such things in our Nation as a whole? These new revelations have raised serious concerns in my mind about Judge Gorsuch.

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: Last month, the President got the worst grade possible concerning this promise because he appeared to be putting LGBT rights ahead of the beliefs and rights of Christians. Flash forward a month later, and sadly he still has not kept this promise, but has instead done even more for the LGBT community. Many Christians leaders who endorsed and campaigned for the President are starting to take issue with Trump’s inaction on this all-important Campaign Promise. Tony Perkins, Franklin Graham, Religious Liberty Organizations and many others are begging Trump to act on a “Religious Freedom” Executive Order, like the one which he AXED last month at the behest of his daughter and son-in-law. Sadly, Trump appears to be ignoring the influential Christian voices around him that helped to get him elected.

Instead of moving legislation to protect Holy Bible believers from Obama-era government persecution, the President has instead announced that he is reinstating the Obama administration’s “International LGBT Envoy” Randy Berry. Berry’s job entails promoting acceptance of homosexuality, bisexuality and transgenderism abroad “in the name of U.S. foreign policy”. HUH? Family Research Council president, Tony Perkins, commented on this shocking act by the President, saying that “Keeping Berry only signals to the world that the extreme agenda of the Obama years is still deeply entrenched in the State Department.” It sure does look that way. In December, Perkins said, “The Obama administration has systematically filled the ranks of State with LGBTQ and abortion activists. Unless the next Secretary of State is willing to resist and remove this embedded agenda, the promotion and protection of true human rights, like Religious Liberty, will continue to languish.”

Sadly it appears as if, under a Trump Presidency, that Religious Freedom will continue to languish indeed. We sure can’t put our hope in the new Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, as he was responsible in 2013 for pressuring the Boy Scouts of America to allow Gay scout leaders and gay scouts. God help us. All the while, Christians who elected Trump because they believed that he would help them and protect their freedom of Biblical conscience are finding out that help is not coming. Just this month, the Vander Boon family, owners of the West Michigan Beef Company, are at risk of having their meatpacking plant shut down because of the Department of Agriculture’s targeting of the Vander Boons for their Biblical beliefs. The Department took issue with “religious literature concerning Marriage” on a break room table at the Plant, which the Government Agency says is “prohibited”.

Also this month, the Supreme Court of Washington State ruled that the 72 year old Christian Florist, Barronelle Stutzman, violated State anti-discrimination law by refusing to provide flowers for a Gay Wedding ceremony. The Court could take everything she owns to pay the ACLU attorney fees. The American Civil Liberties Union has also sued Catholic hospitals that refuse to perform abortions, and California and Illinois have passed laws forcing pro-life pregnancy centers to promote abortion. Throughout all of these recent cases, I have not once heard anything from Donald Trump in defense of any of these Christians who are under attack for their Faith.

The ONLY positive action that he has taken this Month was repealing Obama’s Transgender Bathroom Laws in Public Schools. This was common sense, and any Republican President would have rescinded this unGodly dangerous policy; but to be balanced, I must give the President credit when he does something right. He has A LOT more work to do though to keep his many promises that he has made to the Christian community. He promised every Christian crowd which he spoke to in his Campaign Rallies that he would make defending our “Religious Freedom” PRIORITY #1. As of today, our Religious Liberty doesn’t even appear to be ON his list of priorities, let alone #1.

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: House Republicans approved a Resolution which allows States to withhold funds from abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood. The Resolution is expected to pass the Senate and be signed into law by the President. HJR 43 would overturn a rule instituted by the Obama Administration which banned States from withholding federal dollars from groups that provide abortions.

Last month, the U.S. House voted to permanently ban taxpayer funding of abortion. The bill it passed would make the Hyde Amendment permanent. Trump promised to sign that legislation. This month at the annual CPAC Conference, Vice President Mike Pence said, “We will make the Hyde Amendment PERMANENT.” Out of all of Donald Trump’s promises, I have to say that it looks like he intends to keep this one. I pray that I’m right in my assumption.

Tear up the Iran Deal: This month, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, said she was reassured during meetings with President Trump’s Administration that it was committed to full implementation of the Iran Nuclear Deal. Mogherini met with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, and Trump’s advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner. Meanwhile, Iran continues to boldly threaten the United States. The General of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, Mohammad Pakpour, recently said “The enemy (America) should not be mistaken in it’s assessments, and it will receive a STRONG SLAP IN THE FACE if it does make such a mistake.”

These comments came as the Revolutionary Guards concluded 3 days of exercises with rockets, artillery, tanks and helicopters, just weeks after Trump warned that Iran was “put on notice” after their provocative missile launch. Pakpour said, “The message of these exercises is for the world arrogance to not do anything stupid.” So, even after Iran continues to laugh at Donald Trump as they did Barack Obama, breach the horrible Nuclear Deal, and threaten the United States of America and Israel, Donald Trump has still not fulfilled his promise to “tear up” the incredibly BAD DEAL.

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: Like I said last month, in regard to this Promise, President Trump is doing all that he can to protect the American people from Islamic terrorism. Though corrupt judges and the liberal mainstream media have tried to thwart Trump’s plans to halt immigration from Islamic nations that breed terrorism, he is expected to roll out a new Travel and Refugee Ban soon.

The new Executive Order will replace the original Order which is currently being tied up in the court system. White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said that the second Order will be tailored to what the court has ordered but will complete the tasks the first Travel Ban was meant to do. In my opinion, Trump is doing his utmost best to keep this promise.

Destroy ISIS: This month, President Trump again reiterated his vow to “totally obliterate ISIS”, as the Pentagon is preparing to deliver a range of options for how to combat the terror group. Last month, Trump gave his Secretary of Defense 30 days to present him with a plan to defeat ISIS. Rumours are circulating that the plan will include a boost in the presence of U.S. forces on the ground in Iraq and Syria. The Administration’s Plan to defeat ISIS is expected to be revealed very soon. As I said last month, this Promise will take some time to be fulfilled, so I’m willing to be more than patient with the President as he remains committed to destroying the demonic Islamic terror group.

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: More Palestinian news sources reported this month that the Trump Administration transferred a message to the Palestinian Authority that the embassy “WOULD NOT BE MOVING” to Jerusalem. On top of this disturbing news, the Trump administration recently “WARNED” Israel against annexing parts of Judea and Samaria, saying that such a move would trigger an “immediate crisis” between America and Israel. WHAT?!

I was relieved when Obama’s 8 hellish years were over so that I didn’t have to write about the U.S. being cursed for mistreating Israel anymore, and now I’m writing about it with a Republican President?!? Trump had better be careful, because Almighty God does not favor Political Parties. America will be cursed and fall under judgment when the Country’s leadership threatens or bullies His Chosen Nation of Israel. So Trump, that was the first time that you “warned” Israel, and for America’s sake, it had better be the LAST TIME.

Israel’s Defense Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, said “We received a direct message, not an indirect message, and not a hint from the United States. Imposing Israeli sovereignty on Judea and Samaria would mean an immediate CRISIS with the new administration.” Excuse me while I vomit AGAIN. This new obsession with Israel building on their God-given Land by the Trump Administration is the exact same attitude that was held by the Obama Administration.

Also this month, it was revealed that one of Obama’s Secretary of State John Kerry’s closest confidantes, Michael Ratney, will now be in charge of the “Israeli-Palestinian portfolio” at the Trump State Department. Ratney demonized the State of Israel regularly, along with his bosses, Obama and Kerry. For some reason, Trump approves of his Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, designating the anti-Israel Obama Deputy to be in charge of “Israeli-Palestinian peace”.

Just many more signs this month that Donald Trump flat out LIED to Conservative Christian voters and Israel about moving the U.S. Embassy to Israel’s Eternal Capital. God forgive you Donald Trump if you don’t keep the promises which you have made to God’s people. You’ll never make America “great again” while you’re betraying Israel. SHAME ON THE PRESIDENT.

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: During his Presidential Campaign, Donald Trump consistently reaffirmed the promise to Christian Conservative voters that he would appoint a Supreme Court Justice who would “OVERTURN Roe vs. Wade”. Apparently, given the responses to questions which he received on the subject in his Confirmation Hearing, Trump’s nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch didn’t get the Memo.

Gorsuch told Senators at his Hearing that he would be RELUCTANT to overturn any decision a previous Supreme Court body has made, speaking specifically to the 1973 Roe vs. Wade case that essentially legalized abortion in America. When the Republican Senator from South Carolina, Lindsey Graham, questioned Gorsuch if Trump asked him during his nomination interview whether he would rule to overturn Roe vs. Wade, Gorsuch answered, “Senator, I would have WALKED OUT THE DOOR.”

So, Donald Trump made a vow to Christians in this nation that, if he was elected President, he would nominate a “pro-Life” Judge who would overturn the abominable 1973 ruling. Yet, now that he is in Office, and after propping up Gorsuch as a “strong Conservative Judge like the late Antonin Scalia”, Trump appears to have broken yet ANOTHER Campaign Promise to Christians. Gorsuch made clear that it is not on his agenda to overturn the abortion ruling which has led to the murder of 60 MILLION babies.

When pressed by Senators as to his thoughts on the 1973 decision, Gorsuch said that Roe is “a PRECEDENT of the United States Supreme Court.” He added that the ruling “has been reaffirmed” several times by other cases. “A good judge will consider (Roe vs. Wade) as precedent of the United States Supreme Court, worthy as treatment of precedent, like any other,” he said. For those of you unfamiliar with the legal language, a “precedent” in the SCOTUS is defined as “an AUTHORITATIVE pattern in future similar cases”.

So, if Gorsuch views any Supreme Court rulings connected to Roe vs. Wade as “authoritative patterns”, then sadly, it does not appear that he would be a Judge who would overrule that “authority”. On Trump’s promise to overturn the Supreme Court’s Gay Marriage ruling, he now says that he is “fine with it”, and obviously Gorsuch doesn’t appear to be the “Conservative Judge”, which Christians were promised, who would fight to overturn the Godless decision.

When questioned by a Democrat Senator at his Hearing, Gorsuch was asked about his views on Gay Marriage, and he responded that “the Supreme Court of the United States has held that same-sex marriage is PROTECTED by the Constitution”, and that Gay Marriage is the “law of the land”. Neil Gorsuch is NO Conservative, no, not by any stretch of the imagination. So much for the argument so many Christian leaders gave during the Election to vote for Trump simply because of the “Supreme Court issue”.

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: Another month later and still no promised “Religious Freedom” Executive Order to protect the conscience of God-fearing believers. A growing movement has developed of more than 150 Conservative Christian leaders and groups urging President Trump to honor his many explicit campaign promises to protect the Religious Liberty of Holy Bible believers in America. There is increasing worry amongst many Groups that Trump is caving in to liberal pressure, and LGBT pressure specifically.

Speaking of Trump’s affinity for the LGBT community, this month the President appointed ANOTHER LGBT activist to his Administration. The appointment would make Richard Grenell the highest-ranking open homosexual serving in the Trump administration. He is a strong supporter of “Gay Marriage”, and he regularly criticizes “loud religious-right activists” (like me).

Trump has also personally appointed Betsy DeVos and Anthony Scaramucci who are both pro-LGBT. Devos used her political connections to persuade Michigan Republicans to sign a brief urging the Supreme Court to legalize same-sex marriage in 2015. Funny, I thought that this was supposed to be a “Republican” Administration? It also makes me sick when I hear people call this one of the most “Conservative” Administrations in a long time. Excuse me while I puke.

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: This month, the U.S. House released it’s Budget Reconciliation Bill, which is designed to fund federal government operations, which expire at the end of April. This bill has been paired with provisions to repeal and replace Obamacare.

The Family Research Council has raised concerns about the Bill though, due to the fact that the Reconciliation Bill in it’s current form would halt only 75% of public funding to abortion providers for just ONE YEAR. By tying the repeal of the Affordable Care Act and the defunding of Planned Parenthood to this “must pass” bill, Republican leadership hopes both have a greater chance of passing despite opposition.

The Bill only needs a simple majority of Senators to pass, versus the usual 3/5 majority, and it is not subject to filibusters. Republicans have a 52-48 majority in the new Senate, so they should have no problem passing this Bill. I believe they could have went much further in the BIll, especially by halting 100% of abortion funding, defunding Planned Parenthood specifically, and halting funding PERMANENTLY. Given the current backslidden nature of the GOP under a Trump Presidency though, I acknowledge that them doing anything on the issue is better than them doing nothing.

As to the Hyde Amendment, the House sent the Resolution to the Senate for a vote last month, and the Senate has yet to take it up for a vote. This appears to be the only promise that Donald Trump is attempting to keep. Once Planned Parenthood is officially defunded and the Hyde Amendment is signed into permanent Law by the President, he will earn an “A”, but this month he receives a “C+” simply because the Congress is making much of this happen.

Tear up the Iran Deal: It was reported this month by a Senior Adviser in the Trump Administration that the United States will continue to ADHERE to the disastrous Iran nuclear deal. Trump vowed to tear up the Iran Deal “on DAY ONE”, and referred to it as “the worst deal I’ve ever seen negotiated”. Yet, over 60 days into his Presidency, and following many provocative acts and threatening language from Iran, the President has decided that he will “stick to the deal”.

GRADE – F

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: This month, Trump unveiled his new “Travel Ban” Executive Order. While I fully supported the previous one, and he has consistently received an “A” grade on this issue, the new revised Order is a huge disappointment to say the least. Christians fleeing the Middle East due to Islamic persecution will NO LONGER have “priority” as they did in the previous Executive Order.

The new version eliminates the language that prioritizes “religious minorities”. On the day the new Order was set to go into effect, it was blocked once again by liberal judges. I’m afraid to see how much Trump will water down the Executive Order by the time he finally gets the “Travel Ban” to stand without opposition.

GRADE – C

Destroy ISIS: This month, Trump finally unveiled his “secret plan” to defeat ISIS, but there is nothing special or too new about it, compared to the Obama Administration. His plan calls for continued bombing, beefing up support and assistance to local forces to retake the Iraqi stronghold of Mosul and ultimately the ISIS capital of Raqqa in Syria, drying up ISIS’s sources of income, and stabilizing areas retaken from ISIS.

The Pentagon says that the “next plays” in the battle with ISIS include “Supporting Iraqi Security Forces to capture Mosul”, and “Supporting and developing more local forces in Syria.” It is also expected that Trump will put more U.S. troops on the ground in Syria and Iraq. At the end of the day, a plan is just a plan, and approaching 3 months into his Presidency it is time for ACTION.

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: We are now 100 days into the Trump presidency, and his biggest “on Day One” promise to Israel, Jews and Christians has still NOT been fulfilled. It appears as if it will be a broken one I’m sad to say. For someone who ran as an “outsider” candidate who would “shake up Washington”, Donald Trump appears to be just another business as usual lying politician. I wish I was wrong in my assumptions about Trump, but unfortunately I feel like I’ll be saying “I told you so” to a lot of my fellow Conservative Christians.

In this final week of April, the popular Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth is reporting that President Trump will “NOT implement his Election Campaign pledge to relocate the American Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to the Jewish State’s Capital of Jerusalem”. Though it sure does feel like it sometimes, apparently I’m not alone in my extreme displeasure with Trump’s broken promise concerning the Embassy. One of Trump’s biggest Campaign donors, billionaire Sheldon Adelson, is very upset with the President over his failure to deliver on his Jerusalem Embassy pledge.

Politico reported that he is refusing to donate anymore of his fortune toward supporting the President until Donald keeps his word on the Campaign promise to Israel. We will know for certain by June 1st if Trump truly was just lying about moving the Embassy to get elected, or if he really intended to keep the promise he reiterated dozens of times on the Campaign trail.

On May 31st, the deadline for instituting the “1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act” into official United States Law will pass. Clinton, Bush and Obama all suspended the Act on their watch, thus preventing the Embassy move from taking place. If Trump suspends the Law as his predecessors did before him, in order to appear the murderous Palestinians, then he will signal that the Embassy will not be moved on his watch. I pray that I’m wrong about the President but, as of now, sadly I do not appear to be.

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: I reported last month about Trump’s new Supreme Court appointee, Judge Neil Gorsuch, signalling that he would not be fighting to overturn Roe V. Wade or Gay Marriage. A lot of Christians and Conservatives were fawning over him being confirmed, but I really felt that we deserved a much better representative in the highest Court of the land.

Now, like I said concerning the Embassy, all I can do is pray that I’m wrong about Gorsuch. But again, as of right now, it doesn’t appear that I am. Oh how I would love to be wrong about the President on all counts! The first indicator as to how Gorsuch will rule in the SCOTUS could be decided by his first “Religious Liberty” case, “Trinity Lutheran v. Comer”. Hearings began on the trial this month, and a decision by the Court is expected by June.

The case considers whether Churches should be allowed to receive money directly from State Governments. Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbia, Missouri, operates a preschool, and applied for a State grant to help fund restoration of an unsafe playground. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources rejected the Church’s application, arguing that funding the project would violate the State’s Constitution.

Missouri is one of many States with a Constitution that explicitly prohibits use of public funds to aid “Religious” institutions. The Church is arguing that all children and schools deserve safe playgrounds and facilities, regardless of their “religious beliefs”. If Gorsuch sides with the Church, it will earn Trump a better grade on this SCOTUS Campaign promise, but if he does not then Trump’s grade will remain a dismal “F”.

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: I’ve said in the past few months that Trump promised up and down the Campaign trail to be a great friend and representative to us Holy Bible believers in the White House. I doubted his sincerity then, and I doubt it even more now. Finally Christian leaders, even some who urged their followers to vote for Trump, are starting to become irritated with the President’s inaction on defending our Religious freedom.

Trump promised Christians and Jews that he would reverse the Obama Administration’s mandate that faith-based employers provide birth control to their employees under the Obamacare. But in this final week of April, his Justice Department has indicated that it will continue to fight religious groups in Court who are suing the Government over Obama’s contraception mandate. I know what you’re saying to yourself, because I said it too, and that’s “WAIT.. WHAT?!?”

Trump, who promised to be a friend to believers, is going to continue Obama’s Godless policy of violating the conscience of Christians and Jews across the Country?? Now you all know why I referred to Trump as a Republicrat during the Presidential Campaign. I get nauseated whenever I hear other Christians call him a “Conservative”. They really need to look up the definition, because the Donald is anything BUT.

A Becket Fund attorney, Eric Rassbach, said of this shocking development “It appears that the DOJ plans to continue defending the way the Obama administration applied the birth-control mandate, which seems to be very contrary to what the Trump Administration has said publicly.” A big name, who I used to admire strongly but lost a lot of respect for over the past year because of his constant cheerleading for Trump, Franklin Graham, pleasantly surprised me this week.

He actually, for the first time that I can remember, called out Trump for his actions AGAINST our Religious Freedom. Graham recently said, “Donald J. Trump promised during the election that he would protect religious liberty, and I know that Christians across this country are going to hold him to his word. I hope he will act quickly to protect Christian ministries and organizations from being forced by the Obamacare mandate to provide abortifacients and birth control which goes against the religious beliefs of many.”

You know you’re breaking promises when even your staunchest supporters are calling you out Donald. Also this month, along with hundreds of Christian groups, a group of Republican House members wrote to Trump to “request that you sign the Executive Order on Religious Liberty, in order to protect millions of Americans whose Religious Freedom has been attacked or threatened over the last eight years.”

The Religious Freedom Executive Order, which Trump was expected to sign in February, was axed by the Administration in the same month. It’s sad to say that, at the 100-day mark of his Presidency, Trump seems to be just fine and more than content with earning “F”s across the board.

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: In the first positive Presidential act I’ve written about this month, Trump privately signed a Bill in April that allows States to withhold Federal money from organizations that provide abortion services, specifically Planned Parenthood.

The Bill reversed an Obama-era regulation that prohibited States from withholding money from facilities that perform abortions. While it is a step in the right direction, which I applaud, unfortunately not all States with withhold funding from the abortion giant. Also, as the deadline for funding the Government is April 28th, there are no signs that the current Congressional Budget Bill will include any language for defunding Planned Parenthood, despite the fact that it is one of the main reasons Trump and the Republicans were voted into Office.

Republicans have no excuses for not keeping their promise to defund Planned Parenthood, as they hold ALL of the power in the United States Government. Meanwhile, though the House voted to make the Hyde Amendment permanent two months ago, the Senate has still not held a vote on the matter to my knowledge.

So, though this is an article grading only the President, the entire Republican Party will receive an “F” from me and from many Christians if they fail to keep these integral Campaign promises. For the time being, I have to finally give Trump some credit this month where credit is due for signing the anti-Planned Parenthood Bill. It appears that this is one of the only promises that he is making an honest effort to keep.

GRADE – B

Tear up the Iran Deal: Trump has appeared to be flip-flopping for months on this Promise, and it’s hard to tell which way he will go on the matter. If he were a man of his word, he would just keep his Campaign pledge and rip up the extremely BAD DEAL. Yet for some reason, the deal remains in place while the Iranian regime continues to chant “Death to America, and Death to Israel”.

This month, the Trump administration said that “Iran has complied in the strictest terms with the requirements of the nuclear deal”, but then President Trump said in a Press Conference that the “Iranians are doing a tremendous disservice to the agreement that was signed… They are not living up to the spirit of the agreement, I can tell you that.”

So which is it?? Either they are, or they aren’t living up to the agreement. I have written many articles proving that they are not, but the President needs to get his story straight and decide one way or the other. One thing is for certain, the Deal remains in place, and has not been torn up as promised.

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: Last month, Trump’s 2nd “Travel Ban” was shot down by a liberal judge in Hawaii. Trump’s Executive Order conveys that the Ban is needed to prevent terrorists from certain terror-breeding Islamic countries from entering the United States. The liberal judge, like the prior Pennsylvania judge, believed that the Order was “targeting ALL muslims” and was thus “illegal”.

The Ban obviously does not, but thanks to these ignorant and naive circuit court judges, America remains in grave danger of another mass casualty Islamic terror attack on U.S. soil. The President is thus far not to blame for this promise not being kept. Any shed blood of innocent Americans, at the hands of Islamic terrorists, will be on the hands of the liberal judges blocking the President’s Travel Bans.

GRADE – C

Destroy ISIS: This Campaign promise was actually a two-fold one: “BOMB THE HELL OUT OF” & “DESTROY ISIS”. While Trump’s Administration has not yet “destroyed” the Islamic State, he has kept his promise to “bomb the hell out of ISIS”, which is definitely a step in the right direction. This month, American and NATO forces in Afghanistan dropped the most powerful non-nuclear bomb, dubbed the “mother of all bombs”, on ISIS targets and killed nearly 100 of the jihadists.

Also, the number of strikes targeting ISIS’ caliphate in Iraq and Syria reached a record high last month since the war began in 2014. I’m realistic, so I know full well that ISIS will not be wiped out overnight, and thus Trump will earn a high grade this month for BOMBING THE HELL OUT OF ISIS. Let’s hope he keeps it up!

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: This Month, the Trump Administration announced that plans to move the Embassy to Israel’s Eternal Capital of Jerusalem have been SCRAPPED. Trump said that there will be NO moving of the Embassy anytime soon because it may “harm the peace process” between Israel and Palestine. The President is trying to forge the same Peace Deal of the Obama Administration that would divide the Holy Land of Israel.

Conservative Christians were up in arms, and we believed that Obama could be the AntiChrist because of his obsession with the Middle East Peace Process. NOW, that it is a “Republican” President trying to force Israel to give their Land to the Palestinians, apparently it’s a-ok with my brothers and sisters who voted for Trump. Those on the Right who support this Trump Policy are HYPOCRITES and should be ashamed. Now that Trump is in charge, many believers today see no problem with a “Land for Peace” Deal. So long as it is Trump doing the Deal.

Also this month, some of his top officials made clear that his Administration does NOT recognize the Western Wall as “property of Israel”! The Administration also said that “JERUSALEM is a final status issue”, meaning that the Holy City is ON THE TABLE in a Peace Deal. This mirrors the anti-Israel Obama Administration policy, which states that Jerusalem does not belong to Israel (though it has been their God-given Capital for 3,000+ years).

When Obama held these positions, we were calling for impeachment. When Trump does it… crickets. Many Trump supporters tell me, “Give it time”, and that he will move the Embassy “eventually”. Trump promised to move the Embassy on Day One. We are now over 150 days into the Presidency. So, sorry I’m not as patient as my fellow believers. I give Trump a big fat “F” for this broken promise.

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: We are still waiting to see how Judge Neil Gorsuch will rule on his first Religious Liberty Case in the Supreme Court. Other than that, nothing significant has happened this month concerning him or the Court to my knowledge. Thus, last month’s Grade remains unchanged.

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: The President FINALLY unveiled a Religious Freedom Executive Order on the National Day of Prayer this month, but it was so watered down from February’s draft Executive Order that many Conservatives called it a “nothing burger”. It was described as having “no teeth” and was “simply symbolic”. The Religious Freedom advocacy group, Alliance Defending Freedom, said that Trump’s order “still leaves his Campaign promises on Religious Liberty ‘unfulfilled’.”

On top of that, to emphasize just how weak the Executive Order was at protecting Religious Freedom rights of believers, the Godless ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) announced that they would not have to sue the Trump Administration as they originally expected they would have to do. They called Trump’s Order an “elaborate photo-op with NO discernable policy outcome”. Well, isn’t that a comforting statement for believers.

The only reason he does not get an “F” this month is because he actually showed some movement on this Campaign Promise after facing intense pressure. He still gets a low grade though, because the Order he unveiled was “all for show” and a far cry from the Religious Freedom protections he promised during his Campaign.

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: This month, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director, Mick Mulvaney, was asked at a press briefing if Trump’s Budget will defund Planned Parenthood. He replied, “Yes,” but added that it does “because it assumes the American Health Care Act (AHCA) passes in its current form, which is the one we assumed, and that’s a big assumption. If so, that will defund Planned Parenthood.”

Trump’s new Budget, entitled “A New Foundation for American Greatness”, has been posted to the OMB website. The AHCA struggled to pass the House and faces an uphill battle to passage in the Senate. Defunding of Planned Parenthood was a provision of the AHCA that President Trump used to put pressure on the Conservative House Freedom Caucus to vote for passage of the Bill.

Planned Parenthood’s executive vice president, Dawn Laguens, recently said, “This is the worst Budget for women’s health in a generation.” What she really means is, it is the worst budget for ABORTION providers in a generation. For this reason, even though the Budget has not yet passed, Trump gets a high grade for his effort on keeping this Campaign Promise.

GRADE – B

Tear up the Iran Deal: Not only has Trump not yet tore up the horribly BAD Deal, but he actually EXTENDED IT. On top of that, he is also waiving sanctions on the Islamic Terror Regime. While Trump continues to use “tough talk” against Iran, his actions do the complete opposite. The Trump Administration said this month that it will RENEW “sanctions relief” for Iran promised under Obama’s 2015 Nuclear Deal.

The State Department said that the United States will continue to “waive sanctions as required to continue implementing U.S. sanctions-lifting commitments” under the Nuclear Deal. 5 months later, and the Deal which was to be torn up on DAY ONE, still exists. Thus, another big fat “F” for the President concerning this promise.

GRADE – F

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: A Federal Appeals Court upheld a ruling blocking President Trump’s Travel Ban this month. The 10-3 ruling from the 4th US Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a lower Court’s decision to halt core portions of the Executive Order indefinitely. The Trump administration says it plans to appeal to the Supreme Court. So, while Trump’s Ban is tied up in the courts, he has not made any further efforts to institute new Orders which would strengthen restrictions against nations breeding Islamic Terror.

Each day that he remains content with letting the safety of the American people be decided through a long and drawn-out Court process, the Country grows LESS SAFE. While it is not his fault that his Ban is being tied up in the courts, he could be doing much more NOW to restrict travel or immigration from the Islamic nations which currently pose the greatest threats.

GRADE – D

Destroy ISIS: I have said in the past that no President is going to be able to defeat such a dangerous threat as ISIS overnight. It will take years. Still, I have not heard much about the United States war on ISIS this month. Like with Iran, I have heard Trump use a lot of tough talk, as he calls ISIS “evil” and “losers”, but as to concrete actions taken this month to destroy the Islamic terror group, I haven’t heard anything.

He dropped the “mother of all bombs” last month, and needs to pick back up with a similar aggressive campaign against the Islamic State soon. As of right now, you would think the war was over. It most certainly is NOT. ISIS is not destroyed. No, far from it. Now is the time for ACTION Mr. President, and not tough TALK.

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: On a positive note, Trump’s SCOTUS appointee, Judge Neil Gorsuch, has taken Conservative positions in his first few cases before the Supreme Court. A recent decision by the Court states that “the Constitution requires states to list same-sex parents on their child’s birth certificates”. Gorsuch, along with Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, dissented from the Court’s ruling. All three agreed that a birth mother’s name should appear on birth certificates.

Gorsuch also did the right thing in a crucial Religious Liberty Case. He ruled, along with 6 other Justices, that efforts at separating Church and State go too far when they deny Religious institutions access to government grants meant for a secular purpose. He sided with a Missouri church which had been denied funding to resurface its playground. The Court decided that excluding Churches from State programs, for which other charitable groups are eligible, is a violation of the Constitution’s protection of the free exercise of Religion.

Also, the Court has announced this month that it will hear arguments on President Trump’s Travel Ban. In the meantime, the SCOTUS is partially reinstating the Executive Order. Gorsuch desired for ALL of the travel ban to go into effect. So, thus far, Gorsuch is leaning to the Right on the most important cases. This is refreshing.

Yet and still, he said in his Confirmation hearings that Gay Marriage and Roe Vs. Wade are the “Law of the land”. Sadly, that meant that he would not fight to overturn either of them anytime soon. Because of this broken promise by Trump, to appoint a Justice who would overturn the abominable laws, the President’s Grade in this category will remain low.

GRADE – C+

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: It has been reported that the Trump Administration is preparing to overhaul Obamacare’s “birth control mandate”, which would allow any employer to seek a moral or Religious exemption from the requirement. If this turns out to be true, any Faith-based organization, employer, university or insurer would be able to deny contraceptive coverage based on Religious beliefs or moral conviction.

This is great news, and I pray that it is true. Yet, even if it is, there are still many Christians being sued in Federal Courts across this nation over their beliefs and convictions. So until the cases against Christians are dropped, and until Christians can freely exercise our conscience in this Nation without fear of being sued, Trump’s grade will not rise significantly.

GRADE – C

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: Both, the House and Senate, Health Care Bills will not allow Government funding to help people purchase insurance plans that include coverage for abortions (besides saving the life of the mother, incest, or rape). This would essentially DEFUND Planned Parenthood, but only for ONE Year. While this is not a permanent “Defund” of the Country’s largest abortion provider (like it SHOULD be), it is a move in the right direction.

The Final Bill has not yet been passed, so this defunding of Planned Parenthood may be removed from a final version of the Bill in the Senate. A vote is expected on the current Senate Bill by July 4th. For now, that means Trump receives a good grade for partially, though not wholly, defunding PP. If somehow the defunding is removed in order to pass it in Congress, then Trump will get an “F” next month. Trump would get a “B” this month, but since the Hyde Amendment has not yet been made permanent (as he promised), he receives a “C+”.

Tear up the Iran Deal: 6 months into his Presidency, Trump has not yet tore up the terribly bad Nuclear Deal with Iran. It remains in place to this day. Thus, his “F” remains in place until he keeps his Campaign promise.

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: After months of being held up in the courts, the revised version of President Trump’s Travel Ban has been given clearance by the Supreme Court to partially go into effect. The test for foreigners, who can enter the United States, under the Supreme Court’s ruling is whether one has a “credible claim of bona fide relationship” with a school, job, or family member in the United States.

If they cannot establish one of these relationships, they are banned for 90 days if they are from Libya, Syria, Iran, Somalia, Yemen and Sudan. They are banned for 120 days if they are a refugee from any Country outside of the United States. Because Trump is keeping this Campaign promise, he was going to receive an “A” this month.

Yet the revised “watered down” Ban that will go into effect, as I reported a few months ago, does not prioritize persecuted Christians fleeing the Middle East due to Islamic persecution. The original version did. The current version does not. Thus there will be no “A” for Trump, concerning this promise, until our brothers and sisters are put back at the front of the refugee line.

Destroy ISIS: We haven’t seen or heard much concerning Trump’s war on ISIS this month. The President has actually missed 2 deadlines for news conferences on his latest strategy against the Islamic State. Trump promised to hold a news conference concerning ISIS on May 21st, but then he never did. He then said that he would hold one “in two weeks” from that date.

It has been now been over a month since he said “two weeks”, and no news conference. How can he defeat and destroy ISIS, if he won’t even update us on what progress he is or isn’t making against the deadly terror group? Thus, though I know “destroying” ISIS takes time, he should at least be making progress in the task. Maybe he is? Sadly, as it stands right now… NOBODY KNOWS.

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: 7 months and more than 200 days into the Presidency, and still no Embassy move which Trump promised numerous times on the Campaign trail to get elected.

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: It was a quiet month, with no substantial decisions or news coming from the Supreme Court, and so last month’s Grade remains unchanged.

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: Speaking on the Family Research Council’s “Washington Watch” radio show in the last week of July, Tony Perkins hinted at substantial action on Religious Freedom by the Trump administration in August. He said that Trump will move forward with a Religious Freedom Executive Order.

He went on to say that “The next phase of that is going to be coming about and I think it is going to be very instructive. We are going to see government agencies put on notice that they have to respect religious freedom. And that is not just the ability to believe, it is the free exercise of religion.” Lord willing this is true, and if it is, we should know as early as the first week of August. Since right now this is just a rumour, I will not grade this month by this news. However, if true, this news could have a significant impact on August’s Grade.

There are a few pieces of news I can grade on this month though, and the first is Trump appointing Kansas Governor, Sam Brownback, to serve as the State Department’s Ambassador-at-large for International Religious Freedom. Brownback is a great pick, but sadly the good grade he would bring Trump is cancelled out by a very bad appointment made to the Trump administration this month. Press Secretary Sean Spicer resigned after voicing opposition to Trump’s new White House Communications Director, Anthony Scaramucci.

Scaramucci told the BBC in an interview last year, “I’m a Gay Rights activist. You can look it up. I’ve given to American Unity PAC, I’ve given to the Human Rights Campaign, I’m FOR Same-Sex Marriage. And by the way, this’ll be the FIRST Republican President in U.S. history that enters the White House with a PRO-Gay Rights stance.” What is a man like this doing in a Republican administration? He definitely wipes out the good grade Brownback would have brought.

Finally, though not an official military policy as of yet, the President took to Twitter this week to announce that Transgenders will no longer be able to serve in the U.S. military. Trump tweeted that “after consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you.”

This is great news, and it’s not because I have a problem with transgenders fighting in the military. It is because they were demanding that the military, through taxpayer funds, pay for their “gender transition” surgeries. Holy Bible believing Americans should not be footing the bill for anyone’s rebellion against Almighty God.

(UPDATE: In a last minute buzzer beater, on the final day of July, Trump has FIRED Scaramucci. HalleluYah! Maybe the President is reading my articles? Hopefully he will act on my other advice too! Lord willing.)

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: In what was likely the U.S. Senate’s last chance at defunding Planned Parenthood and repealing Obamacare this year, RINO Republicans John McCain (AZ), Susan Collins (ME), and Lisa Murkowski (AK), joined the Dems in a “no” vote to defund the abortion giant. Planned Parenthood was ecstatic over the failed vote. Pro-life advocacy groups called the failed vote a “blow” to making America pro-life. While the failure of the Senate to defund PP was not wholly Trump’s fault, he is still the President, and one who loves to issue Executive Orders.

So, Mr. President, you always talk about having “pen in hand” and now is the time to put it to good use and make something happen. The Senate RINOS may have broken their campaign promises, but you still have the power to keep yours. Make it happen. Until then, this remains a broken promise. As for the Hyde Amendment becoming permanent, that Bill has been wasting away in the Senate for 6 months. Again I say, Congress obviously won’t do the job for you Mr. President, you are going to have to do it yourself.

Tear up the Iran Deal: Much like the Israeli Embassy promise, the Iran Deal promise has not been kept for 7 months and over 200 days. An obvious “F”.

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: After months of being held up in the courts, President Trump’s Travel Ban, concerning Islamic nations that breed terrorism, partially went into effect last month. Only certain aspects of the Executive Order were granted clearance by the Supreme Court to take effect, while the rest of the Ban taking effect will be decided by the SCOTUS in the near future. So for now, since there has been no significant news concerning the Ban this month, Trump’s June Grade remains in place.

Destroy ISIS: We finally got some news about the Trump administration’s war on ISIS this month, and he looks to be making significant progress against the Islamic terror group. While he has by no means come close to “destroying” them yet, it does appear that his actions have put them on the defense.

It has been reported that the Islamic State has been forced out of Iraq, and that the mission to defeat them in Syria is 40% complete. This is welcome news, being that the last few months there has been virtually no news whatsoever concerning Trump’s war on ISIS. Thus, he has earned a much better grade for his progress on keeping this promise.

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: If I could give Trump an F- on this promise, I would. Going on 8 months of Donald Trump’s Presidency, there has still been no signs of moving America’s Israeli Embassy to the Jewish State’s Capital of Jerusalem. In a big piece of disturbing news this month, a U.S. delegation led by Jared Kushner, President Trump’s adviser and son-in-law, met with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Palestinian President Abbas to RENEW the stalled Israeli-Palestinian “Peace Process”.

In the SAME DAY, even during the SAME HOURS of Trump’s team meeting with Israeli and Palestinian leaders, the first major hurricane to hit the “Lone Star State” of Texas in 12 years was officially formed. Coincidentally, there is another place on earth known as a Lone State State, bearing the Star of David on it’s Country’s Flag, and that of course is the Jewish State of ISRAEL. Read my two articles about this month’s Total Solar Eclipse, in which I explained why I believed that the Eclipse was a Divine warning to America concerning Israeli-Palestinian “Peace”.

In my second Eclipse article, I documented numerous connections between the Eclipse and Israel’s Capital City, JERUSALEM. I warned that if Trump continued to try to force Israel back into “Land-for-Peace Talks” (which includes dividing Jerusalem on the negotiating table), Almighty God would judge and DIVIDE America.

The Holy Bible is crystal clear that the division of Israel’s Land is what the LORD prophesies will bring His Wrath upon the nations. Not coincidentally, Hurricane Harvey was a historic, devastating, and record-shattering storm. Hopefully Trump and his team get God’s message. If not, Harvey was just the first of MANY judgments to come.

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: It was another quiet month for the SCOTUS. There are some critical Religious Liberty cases coming up soon, which will determine if this grade rises or plummets. In a Colorado case, a baker refused to create a wedding cake for a gay couple, and this case will likely decide the fate of many Christian business owners across the nation who have also refused to partake in Gay Marriage celebrations.

That case will be Gorsuch’s test as to whether or not he will serve as the “Conservative” Justice which he was promised to be. Due to no significant news this month, July’s grade remains unchanged.

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: This month, it was announced that the Trump administration is finalizing a plan to alter an ObamaCare mandate which required employers to make contraceptives available (at no cost) through their health plans. The changes proposed by the Trump administration would allow any employer to apply for an exemption to covering contraceptive care based on religious beliefs or moral convictions.

While this is a great move, there are still too many Christians facing lawsuits in Courts across this nation. Trump needs to do something to protect our freedom to believe, and to live by our Biblical conscience, without fear of being fined or imprisoned.

Last month, I said that Tony Perkins, of the Family Research Council, announced that Trump was going to make more moves concerning his administration’s toothless “Religious Freedom” Executive Order. Perkins said that we would see action as early as the first week of August. It is now the first day of September, and no action. Because of Trump’s lack of concern regarding our Religious Liberty, especially concerning the many Christians refusing to partake in Gay Weddings, his Grade drops this month.

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: Though the President blames it on Congress, he has still not kept these promises. Both Trump and the Republican politicians elected to serve us in Washington, D.C., garner a big fat “F” until they can keep their campaign pledges to pro-life voters.

Tear up the Iran Deal: Even though Iran continues to belittle, mock, and threaten the United States President and our nation, Trump has still not tore up the extremely BAD DEAL.

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: Trump’s June Grade remains in place because there was no significant news in August on his current Travel Ban regarding Islamic nations that breed terrorism.

Destroy ISIS: According to the State Department, the Islamic State terror group has lost almost 1/3 of its territory in Iraq and Syria. They say that this is mainly due to new policies adopted by President Trump and his administration. This month, the President also said that the U.S. will begin to focus more on combating ISIS’ online recruiting efforts following the recent military gains.

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: Another month goes by, and one of the President’s biggest Campaign Promises remains unfulfilled, and most likely BROKEN. I say most likely, because of Trump’s effort to renew “Land-for-Peace” talks between Israel and the Palestinians. Palestinians have said that they will not make a Peace Deal with Israel unless some of Israel’s Holiest Land is on the negotiating table, including East JERUSALEM. In the SAME weeks, days, and hours, that Trump was trying to push Israel back to the negotiating table, historic Hurricanes Harvey and Irma devastated America.

You would think those disastrous and costly signs of God’s displeasure would cause the President to hit the brakes in his race to make the “ultimate deal” for “Mideast Peace”. Sadly, Trump was not dissuaded one bit. In the final week of September, his Mideast Peace Team was in Israel and Palestine pushing the “Land-for-Peace” agenda. The more that the President tries to negotiate Israel’s Holy Land away, the more disastrous judgments will fall upon America. Mark my words.

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: The abominable SCOTUS rulings which legalized Gay Marriage and abortion STILL stand almost 9 months into Trump’s Presidency. So, as long as they do, Trump will never receive anything close to an A concerning this Promise. He could boost his grade a little higher though if Gorsuch turns out to be the Conservative which Trump advertised him to be. The new Supreme Court Justice will have a chance to prove his Conservative credentials in October. The crucial Religious Freedom Case, “Masterpiece Cakeshop v Colorado Civil Rights Commission”, will be decided.

A gay couple says Colorado’s civil-rights law requires Christian businesses to serve gay weddings, while Jack Phillips complains that this rule forces him to endorse what he believes is sinful behaviour. The Court’s decision is extremely important to the legal fates of believers across this nation, such as calligraphers, florists, photographers, and tailors who have refused to participate in same-sex weddings. Lord willing, Gorsuch will side with mr. Phillips and end the LGBT’s targeted persecution against Christians once and for all. Last month’s Grade remains unchanged because nothing significant took place in the Supreme Court this month.

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: Trump still has not issued a strong Religious Freedom Executive Order to protect the conscience of Christians in this Country, and the upcoming Supreme Court Case of Jack Phillips is proof of the President’s inaction. In a move that should have appalled all Christians this month, Trump enthusiastically endorsed an establishment RINO over a staunch Conservative Christian, Roy Moore.

The President endorsed Luther Strange, whose campaign received millions of dollars from Mitch Mcconnell and the GOP. So, while running as the candidate who would “drain the swamp”, Trump was knee deep IN IT with the RINOS in DC. Judge Roy Moore is known as the “Ten Commandments” Judge, and also as the Judge who urged Alabama officials to not obey the Supreme Court’s ruling on Gay Marriage as “law of the land”.

He represents everything that a Conservative judge or politician should be, so for Trump to endorse his opponent was a slap in the face to Christians. Moore won, praise be to God, and Trump’s bad decision to oppose him seems to have also dealt a blow to his ego. Hours after Moore won, the President deleted at least 3 of his Luther Strange endorsements on Twitter. Hopefully Judge Roy Moore’s win was a wake-up call to Trump and establishment Republicans to govern as Conservatives or be kicked out of office in 2018 and 2020.

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: Planned Parenthood’s abortion wing has still not been defunded under President Trump, and the Hyde Amendment has not yet been made permanent. One big reason for this unkept promise, is because Trump keeps trying to do this through tieing in defunding the abortion giant with Obamacare repeals. For a President who loves Executive Orders, why is it so hard to write one defunding Planned Parenthood???

In one encouraging piece of news, Planned Parenthood affiliates are losing funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Planned Parenthood affiliates in Iowa, Arkansas, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire and Oklahoma are losing Government Grants worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. This good news saves Trump from receiving an F for this unfulfilled promise.

Tear up the Iran Deal: While the President continues to “talk tough” against Iran, his words have yet to be met with concrete action against the Islamic regime. At the United Nations General Assembly, Trump said that the “U.S. cannot abide by an agreement if it provides cover for the eventual construction of an Iranian nuclear program.” He also called it “one of the worst and most one-sided transactions” in U.S. history and an “embarrassment to the United States.” If you believe these things mr. President, then why in the world have you not yet kept your Promise to TEAR UP the horribly BAD DEAL?

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: While, the President’s Travel Ban has been a good move, there are still many other Islamic nations that should be on the list. This month, Trump did add 3 new nations to the list, but I think he did so to prevent critics from labeling it a “Muslim Ban”. North Korea, Venezuela, and Chad were added to the list of countries whose citizens face the restrictions of the Ban.

An encouraging development, regarding this Promise, is that Trump has cut the number of Obama’s refugees from Islamic warzones being admitted into the U.S. by 50%. Also, he has decreased the number of muslim refugees entering this nation, and increased the number of Christian refugees coming in. Let’s pray that he keeps this up!

Destroy ISIS: Trump pledged on the campaign trail to “bomb the hell” out of ISIS, and new figures appear to reveal that he is doing just that. The U.S. led coalition in the Middle East dropped more than 5,000 bombs on the Islamic State’s strongholds last month. This number surpassed the previous monthly high for the campaign known as Operation Inherent Resolve, which was 4,848 in June, and double the number under President Obama in the year before, which was a measly 2,250 bombs. Trump may not have destroyed ISIS yet, but he has kept his Promise to “bomb the hell” out of them.

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: As we all know, Trump has still not moved the Embassy to Jerusalem. What’s worse, when the President was pressed on the Campaign Promise in a tv interview with Mike Huckabee, the President said that he is “not even thinking about it”! Huckabee asked Trump when the Embassy move would take place, and he responded, “I want to give the Israeli-Palestinian Peace Deal a shot before I EVEN THINK about moving the embassy to Jerusalem”. Wait, WHAT?

Even though he swore up and down the Campaign trail that he keeps his promises, and that the Embassy would surely be moved to Jerusalem under his administration, he now says “not until” I broker a “Peace Deal”?! Anyone familiar with the conflict knows that any Deal would certainly “DIVIDE JERUSALEM” and, by not moving the Embassy, Trump has basically signalled that he’s fine with Jerusalem being on the negotiating table. This will not sit well with the LORD, and God showed His immediate displeasure with Trump’s comments.

Less than 24 hours after the interview aired on October 7th, the historic October California Wildfire Outbreak began on the 8th. Nearly 1,000,000 acres were burned across the state of California.

Sadly, there was more discouraging news to report about Trump and Jerusalem this month. At the close of this month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delayed a vote on a measure that would incorporate 19 Israeli developments surrounding Jerusalem into the Holy City.

Because of increased housing demand, Israel has been building housing developments around the City. Most people living in those developments consider themselves residents of Jerusalem already. The Knesset was prepared to make it official, and incorporate the portions of surrounded land into the Capital City, but guess what halted the vote… the Trump administration.

A senior U.S. administration official was quoted saying: “It’s fair to say that the U.S. is discouraging actions that it believes will unduly distract the principals from focusing on the advancement of peace negotiations.

The Jerusalem expansion bill was considered by the administration to be one of those actions.‎”

Regardless if it is Obama or Trump, no President and no nation has any right to tell Israelis where or where not they can build homes in their God-given Land. When Trump or any world leader opposes Israel building on the Land of their Biblical forefathers, God opposes the nations of those leaders. America can expect more disastrous Judgments from the LORD if Trump keeps this up.

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: At the beginning of October, Trump had me applauding his actions for virtually the first time in his Presidency. First, he reversed Obama’s DOJ decision that stated “transgender people are protected against discrimination under Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act”. Obama’s protections for transgenders meant that any Christian or Holy Bible believer who opposed the LGBT agenda or transgenderism could be sued for discrimination comparable to “racism”.

This was an unjust law, and Trump was right for doing away with it. In the same day, the President rolled back Obama’s birth control mandate under the Affordable Care Act. The mandate forced Biblically-minded business owners, and Church charities, to provide contraceptives or other forms of birth control that lead to abortions. So, again, BRAVO Trump!

The President would have earned, I believe, his first “A” in this category if this was all I was reporting.

Sadly, just before October came to a close, I read this news story… The GOP’s first-ever director of Evangelical Christian outreach has announced his resignation, citing the Republican Party’s “tone deaf attitude” toward Evangelical voters. Sad to see that this man is confirming was I have been writing about the GOP, on this website, for well over a year.

Chad Connelly, who served as the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) director of the Faith Engagement Initiative since 2013, complained that outreach to Christians has not been prioritized by the GOP under the leadership structure implemented by the Trump administration.

“The treatment I received from the new political department has been disrespectful, antagonistic and unacceptable,” Connelly said.

He added, “Faith in general, and me in particular, just don’t have the priority I anticipated”.

This sadly does not surprise me. The fact that the GOP under the Trump administration is not prioritizing the Christian voting bloc, that grudgingly helped elect the President, is going to take away that “A” that Trump had ALMOST earned. I won’t drop his Grade too far because of the two positive things he did this month for Religious Freedom, but if what Connelly is saying proves to be true, then Trump’s Grade will most likely never be close to an “A” again in this category.

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: Planned Parenthood has still not been “defunded” and the Hyde Amendment has still not been made “permanent”. This would normally earn an “F” concerning this Campaign Promise, but Trump did do something to take business away from Planned Parenthood this month, which deserves a thumbs up. Planned Parenthood’s president, Cecile Richards, was fuming over Trump’s rolling back Obama’s Obamacare “Birth Control Mandate”. She called his move “unacceptable” and a full-scale attack on “Planned Parenthood”. How could I give him an “F” when he makes the president of America’s largest abortion-peddler angry?

Tear up the Iran Deal: President Trump announced, early in the month, his decision to DECERTIFY the Iran Nuclear Deal, threatening to leave the deal altogether if it was not amended to permanently block Tehran from building nuclear weapons or intercontinental ballistic missiles. Now, this is a HUGE step in the right direction to keeping this Campaign Promise.

I would rather he tear up the Deal altogether today, but decertifying it means that he may on the road to ripping it up soon.Trump said in a White House Speech that, “In the event we are not able to reach a solution working with Congress and our allies, then the agreement will be TERMINATED.” Given the inability of Congress to get anything done, hopefully that means the Iran Deal is on its last legs!

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: Following the New York Islamic terror attack in Manhattan on Halloween, President Trump said that he had ordered more robust “extreme vetting” of foreign travelers coming into the United States. His administration recently announced that it would resume accepting refugees after a 120-day travel ban, though foreigners from 11 terrorist-haven countries will still be blocked. I still think that his Travel Ban or “Muslim Ban” should include every Islamic country on the list, but at least he is doing far more than Obama ever did to protect America from the threat of foreign terrorists.

Destroy ISIS: This month, Trump said that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) must be kept from entering the United States, on the same day that the ISIS-inspired terrorist murdered 8 people in New York in a vehicle attack. “We must not allow ISIS to return, or enter, our country after defeating them in the Middle East and elsewhere. Enough!” the President tweeted.

Speaking of the fight against ISIS in Syria, Trump said that the US would soon transition into a “new phase” of involvement in Syria.

This comes after US-backed forces pushed ISIS members out of Raqqa, the city which the terror group deemed their “capital”. He went on to say, “With the liberation of ISIS’s capital and the vast majority of its territory, the end of the ISIS caliphate is in sight”. Lord willing he is right in his assessment. While ISIS is far from destroyed, the are definitely on their heels. I will continue to give the President credit where any credit is due.

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: Towards the close of this month, Israeli press was reporting that President Trump was planning to make an announcement, by the first week of December, that he would be moving the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Israel’s Capital of Jerusalem. Sadly, when White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, was asked for more information on the possible announcement, she said “We have NOTHING to announce.” Many officials in Israel were expecting the long-promised announcement in early December, because the “Jerusalem Embassy Act” deadline falls early in the month.

In June, though he promised to move the Embassy right away as President, Trump signed a waiver postponing the Embassy move for six months. If he signs the waiver again in December, he will likely not be making any Embassy move until June 2018. He could also sign another 6-month waiver then as well. Sadly, as of right now, I feel as if this is one of his biggest broken promises. Hopefully in December he will prove me wrong, but if he doesn’t then he can look forward to another six months of big fat “F”s concerning this Grade.

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: We will finally get to see just how “Conservative” Trump’s Supreme Court pick is in December. Judge Neil Gorsuch will hear and rule on his first big Religious Freedom case next month. Colorado baker, Jack Phillips, of Masterpiece Cake Shop refused to make a wedding cake for a Gay Marriage. Will Gorsuch defend his freedom of conscience and Biblical beliefs? Will he show that he is no Conservative at all, and side with the enemies of Religious Freedom?

This is a crucial case in deciding just how much Trump’s promise to defend the freedom of Christians was trustworthy, or just another lie to gain the much votes of Conservative Christians. Oral arguments for the case are set to begin in the first week of December, so last month’s Grade remains unchanged for November.

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: There has been no significant news this month regarding Trump’s Travel Ban, nor concerning Islamic immigration into the United States, so last month’s Grade remains the same for November.

Destroy ISIS: Unlike the past few months, there was not much news released about Trump’s war on ISIS in November. So, like the previous Grade, this one remains unchanged from last month.

Moving Embassy to JERUSALEM: In this article, you have all witnessed just how disappointed I have been with Trump for not keeping this most important promise. For 11 straight months, due to what appeared to be backtracking and even reneging, I consistently have given the President an “F”. Earlier this month I tweeted the President, and told him that he could easily turn his recurrent low grade into a much higher one over night by turning his Embassy “F” grade into an “A”.

Less than a week later, on December 6th, 2017, on what I call the greatest day of Donald Trump’s Presidency, the POTUS gave a live address to the nation and to the world in which he officially recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital City. He then added that he was keeping one of his most important Campaign promises by “directing the US State Department to begin preparations to MOVE THE U.S. EMBASSY from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem”.

Did Donald Trump read my tweet? I’ll never know, but what I do know is that my prayers have been answered for the LORD to guide him to keep the promises which he made to Christians, Jews, and Israel. I thank God that, literally overnight, Trump’s misguided quest for an Israeli-Palestinian “Peace Deal” (which was bringing judgments and curses upon this nation) was transformed into a Bible-based agenda regarding Israel (which guarantees the blessings of the LORD upon America).

Throughout the 2016 Election, all of you know that I was firmly “Never Trump”. Since he was elected President, I have been extremely critical of him. For the past 11 months though, I have made clear that I don’t hate him and that I don’t love him. I have been neutral, but praying for him to do well. Though I could not bring myself to vote for him last year, as of December 6th I now support President Trump, and I intend to vote for him the next time around in 2020.

While I cannot give him an A+ for this promise because the Embassy has not been moved yet, I trust that he will keep his word to do so. For someone who has been critical of Trump since day one, it feels very good to be able to say with all sincerity – THANK YOU DONALD TRUMP, and God bless you Mr. President.

Appoint Supreme Court Justices to overturn Gay Marriage & Roe V. Wade: This month, the Supreme Court finally heard arguments in a landmark Religious Freedom case. Colorado baker, Jack Phillips, of Masterpiece Cake Shop refused to make a wedding cake for a Gay Marriage because it was against his beliefs. Of course, the homosexual customers sued him, and are determined to ruin his life.

While we don’t know yet how Trump’s appointment, Judge Neil Gorsuch, will rule on the Case, his comments in the hearing were encouraging. He definitely appeared to be siding with Religious Freedom. I have long doubted Gorsuch’s “Conservative” credentials, but I pray that Trump can prove me wrong concerning yet another extremely important promise.

Grading Trump this month, simply on the comments that Gorsuch made during the Case hearing, I am going to give him a B. Because if I’m right about how Gorsuch is going to decide on this Case, then that will mean that he may just be a Judge who would rule to overturn Gay Marriage and Roe V. Wade. Lord willing!!!

Defend “Religious Freedom” and Conscience of Christians: As far as I know, Trump did not take any concrete actions for or against Religious Freedom this month. What I do know is that the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), the nation’s largest atheist group, took out a full-page ad in the New York Times to attack the President. Because Trump has made an enemy of the biggest enemy of American Christians, his grade on this promise will also be going up this month.

DEFUND Planned Parenthood & make Hyde Amendment PERMANENT: Unfortunately, this is one promise that President has not been able to keep as of yet, but not for lack of trying. The U.S. Congressional Republicans have consistently failed in efforts to defund the nation’s largest abortion provider, though they have a majority in the House and Senate.

Also, the House’s Bill to make the Hyde Amendment permanent has been wasting away in the Senate for months without a vote. I have to say that this unkept promise is not completely the President’s fault. The RINO Republicans in the Senate need to get off their butts and do the job that Conservative Christians elected them to do.

Otherwise, they all need to be replaced with Senators who WILL. The Congressional Republicans get a big fat “F” concerning this promise, but I will give Trump a C-. At this juncture, there doesn’t seem to be much that the President can do until Congress does their job.

Trump did take a big step in axing the deal by decertifying it, and continues to speak out strongly against the Islamic regime. Still, once again, Congressional Republicans are not doing their job. Thus, Trump will get a more favorable grade this month then he normally would.

Halt Islamic Immigration from Nations breeding Terrorism: This month, the U.S. Supreme Court allowed Trump’s Travel Ban to take effect. While I still do not think that the President’s Ban goes far enough, it is definitely keeping the Country much safer than Obama’s foreign policy ever did.

Destroy ISIS: New information was revealed this month concerning Trump’s War on ISIS. Twice as much territory has been liberated in Donald Trump’s first year as President then previous 2 ½ years under president Obama, according to Defense Department figures. On January 20th, the day Trump was inaugurated, an estimated 35,000 ISIS fighters held approximately 17,500 square miles of territory in both Iraq and Syria.

As of December 21st, the U.S. military estimates the remaining 1,000 or so fighters occupy only 1,900 squares miles of mostly barren desert, primarily in Syria, and where few people live. While ISIS propaganda is still reaching young impressionable minds across the globe, the results on the ground speak for themselves.

There have been far less ISIS terror attacks in the United States, and the Islamic State in the Middle East is crumbling since Trump assumed the Presidency. I must give credit where credit is due. ISIS may not be destroyed, but it appears that if Trump stays the course, someday soon they will be.
