Vote Your Conscience: Disenfranchised Conservatives Must UNITE

image

After the plethora of liberal anti-Conservative speeches given on the closing night of the Republican National Convention, it is now crystal clear that we have no horse in this Race. Last night only proved what I’ve believed for months, that we have the choice between two Democrats for the next President of the United States. We witnessed a gay rights activist get CHEERED for condemning Christian values in the GOP Platform, while a night earlier, we saw the CHAMPION defender of our values, Ted Cruz, get BOOED by the same crowd. As I’ve said many times the past few months, the Republican Party is no longer my Party, and is obviously not the Party of Christian Conservatives anymore. Donald Trump was the first Republican Presidential Candidate in nearly a half century to not reference God throughout his acceptance speech. He also spoke more in defense of LGBTQ issues, than he did about Religious Liberty, or social issues that matter to Christian voters. He said during the Primaries that he does not need Conservative voters to win, and last night his speech proved that he still does not. It was a populist speech aimed at moderates, Bernie Sanders socialists, independents, and heck, even Democrats. So what are we Christian Conservatives to do now?

I believe it is time for those of us who oppose Trump AND Hillary to get organized, and UNITE around ONE Candidate or Hillary Clinton will win. No matter how bad Trump is or would be for this Country, Hillary would be far worse. So, if we Never-Trumpers continue to be split and all over the map, either by pledging to vote for the Independent Party or Constitution Party candidates (who will NOT WIN) or by staying home in November, then we are virtually handing Clinton the Presidency. No Conservative, regardless of how much you dislike “The Donald”, should be content or happy with that result.

Now as far as I understand it, the rules are that if neither Trump nor Hillary reach a specific threshold of 270 electoral votes in the Presidential Contest then the Republican House of Representatives would choose the next President. It may sound like a long shot and farfetched idea, but this whole Election cycle has been beyond farfetched and unprecedented. Both Hillary and Trump have historic negative approval ratings that are through the roof, and their voters across the Nation right now seem to be split 50/50. Although, because of the liberal mainstream media, Hillary will most likely be given the edge in a tight race. This means that any of our votes for 3rd Parties or random write-ins would most likely hurt Trump more than they would Hillary.

So, with just over 3 months till Election Day, I’m making a call to all those like me who do not want EITHER of them in the White House to get SERIOUS about stopping BOTH of them! I truly believe that a majority of the disenfranchised Conservative voters support Ted Cruz as I do. Thus, I’m calling for my fellow disgruntled Conservatives to stop all the chatter about voting for the liberal Independent candidate Gary Johnson just to spite Trump. Stop the talk about voting Constitution Party also, because their Foreign Policy is not good for our greatest Ally Israel. Stop talking about voting for ANY 3rd Party candidate besides Trump and Hillary. NONE of the current 3rd Party choices will get over 10% of the vote.

I’m proposing that all Christian Conservatives, Constitution lovers, and all of the disenfranchised voters of this Nation UNITE AROUND TED CRUZ. That must be our strategy: A #WriteInCruz Campaign. Now, this won’t be possible in every State, as not all allow write-ins, but 43 States DO allow Write In Ballots for President of the United States. My State of Michigan does. To my knowledge, the only States not allowing write ins are Arkansas, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Oklahoma, and South Dakota. The good news is that 6 of these 7 States are “Red States”, meaning they won’t likely go to Hillary anyway! If your State is one of the seven, then I suggest you just vote up and down the ballot for the proven Conservative candidates in your State. If you feel that you MUST vote in this Election for a Presidential candidate, and cannot write-in Cruz, then I would say ANYONE but Hillary, because she will already have the advantage.

I truly believe, that if we come together, get serious about this, get organized, and collectively vote for Cruz, then we may have a chance to stop both Clinton and Trump Presidencies. Otherwise, if we Conservatives continue to be divided and vote sporadically for a wide range of 3rd Party Candidates, then I’m sad to say that most likely Clinton will be our next President. Our FIRST goal in this Election should be to STOP Hillary. Our next goal should be to STOP Trump. In that order. If we continue on being a disorganized and divided group of disenfranchised voters, then we will achieve neither of these goals.

Friends, it has been made crystal clear to us by both major Parties that neither of them are putting our GOD FIRST. Thus, neither of them should be OUR first choice. In my opinion, the only viable candidate out there right now that has any chance to muster the votes needed to prevent Trump and Clinton from reaching the White House is Ted Cruz. Please join me in writing his name in on Election Day this November.

If you, like me, are sick and tired of the media handpicking the winners, losers and leaders of our Nation, and are fed up with having to choose between “the lesser of two evils” every 4-8 years, then SHARE THIS message. Spread the word to write-in the proven consistent Conservative, and let’s really get serious about defeating Clinton AND Trump. Simply tweeting #Never hashtags will not keep them out of the Oval Office. If we do not get organized, and quick, then one of them WILL be the next President, and neither will put our God FIRST.

The Republican Establishment really seems to think that they can get away with moving the Party as far to the Left as they wish, because of their “unifying” rally cry to “Beat Hillary at all costs”. They are grossly mistaken. We will not abandon nor sacrifice our beliefs and values simply to achieve political victory. Join me in the fight for a Godly President, by voting your values and your CONSCIENCE.

  1. Posted this on Twitter and Facebook and sent it to some friends. For some reason, my Christian conservative friends seem to be ok with trump but I just cannot for the life of me see what they are seeing. The “he’s better than Hillary” is not good enough to warrant my vote. Uniting to write in Cruz is where I am!

  2. I agree with you 100%! What I’m afraid of is that not enough Christians will unite because there really is no adequate way to get the word out or the support to accomplish this; therefore, Hillary would be elected. After the last election, I read that 90% of Protestant black pastors voted for Obama; I know “protestant” does not equate to “conservative” or “Christian” but that statistic alone reveals much about the mindset of voters; e.g., a black friend of mine, who I have no doubt is a Christian, voted for Obama because he is black, even after we had discussions about Obama’s stand for abortion, illegal immigration, national debt, destructive policies against the military (both of us are retired) and this nation. He’s an intelligent man, yet he wanted to see history continue to be made! So, why would 90% of Protestant black pastors vote for Obama? Now, I hear same “history making” statements for the first woman president in history; many not even aware of anything else about Clinton.
