War On The CHRIST Of Christmas Begins AGAIN

Sadly, many Christians today don’t even celebrate Christmas, because they don’t believe Jesus was born on December 25th. Even if they are right, it’s utterly shameful to not want to join the rest of the world in celebrating the Birth of our Lord, no matter the date chosen to do so. Though there are many rumours out there as to why December 25th was chosen, whether to combat the worship of false gods on that date, or to coincide with the winter solstice, the fact is that Christians have been celebrating Jesus’ birth on that Day as far back as 130 AD.

The reason Christians in the early Church chose the 25th of December, is because many theologians, upon careful study, came to the agreement that the Virgin Mary’s Conception revealed to her by the Angel Gabriel, took place around the 6th Month, and they placed that date as MARCH 25TH. If you add the 9 months of Mary’s pregnancy to that date, you arrive at DECEMBER 25TH as the Birth of Jesus. Were they correct? We will never know. No one knows for sure but God. The one thing they certainly got right was the desire to set a fixed day to celebrate the arrival into this world of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. His Birth should be celebrated everywhere for all of time, regardless of what date we choose to observe it on.

If we let the atheists do away with the Name of Christ in our Holy Day, or let them continue to force the removal of Nativity displays across the nation, simply because some Christians don’t think we should be celebrating on December 25th, then those picky believers are ignorantly replacing a celebration of Christ with a celebration of God knows what! If God looks down from Heaven, in the same Season where many false gods have been worshipped throughout history, and sees the world celebrating, but with no visible representation of His Son JESUS anywhere to be seen or heard, then what is He to think we are “celebrating”? If NOT His Son, then WHAT? I, for one, want to make sure He knows that I and my family celebrate CHRIST.

Also, as a Holy Bible believer, I acknowledge and observe Hanukkah. It is another great historical account of YaHWeH God The Father’s miraculous power and faithfulness to His Jewish people. When it comes time, I call it Hanukkah and offer Hanukkah greetings. I don’t say “happy holidays” to be politically correct. I know my Jewish friends appreciate hearing “Happy Hanukkah”, and true Christians appreciate hearing “Merry Christmas”. Happy holidays can mean just about anything. Let’s say what we MEAN brothers and sisters. Do not worry about offending an athiest, but rather worry about how you may be offending GOD by catering to unbelievers.

If we Christians in this Nation do not stand up for our Lord, especially in this Season when we celebrate His Birth, then He will continue to be pushed out of our society more and more each year. We can see how extremely bad that has already been for this Country, as the more you push God out, the only thing that can fill the void is whatever is NOT of God. We’ve seen that so often the past few years, as Nativities have been banned at State Capitols, like in Michigan and Florida, and have been replaced with SATANIC monuments! Or, as the Satanists called them, “Holiday Displays”. As we speak, many States are under attack by the FFRF (Freedom From Religion Foundation), and are being ordered by Courts to remove their public Nativity Scenes.

In Wadena, Minnesota, a Nativity Scene in a Public Park was reported to the FFRF (in Wisconsin) by an atheist resident of Wadena, who was apparently “offended” by Jesus Christ at Christmastime. The Wadena Mayor issued this statement after the FFRF won another court battle:

“It was with a heavy heart that I voted last night to relinquish ownership of the Nativity scene,” said George Deiss. “Yes, it is a sad world when the wants of the few take precedence over the wants of the many. With the Nativity becoming the property of the Wadena Ministerial Association I know it will be displayed in all its purity.”

In Indiana, after the FFRF sued Franklin County over a Nativity which has resided on the Courthouse lawn for years, they struck a compromise with the town, as long as they could set up their own “secular holiday” display alongside the Nativity Scene. The FFRF plans to install a “Bill or Rights” Nativity, featuring the founding fathers, the pagan goddess “Libertas” and the Constitution will replace Baby Jesus in the manger. Disgusting. Our forefathers would vomit on that display. This has gotten so bad with these FFRF God-haters, that they will “let you” keep your Nativity up, as long as they can build a MOCKERY and insult to God alongside it. It is beyond disgusting.

In Mountain Home, Arkansas, a crowd of about 150 people gathered this past Sunday to protest the removal of a Nativity Scene from the lawn of the Baxter County Courthouse following a recent decision by a federal judge.

In Belen, New Mexico, a nearly 25 year old Nativity scene has been targeted by the FFRF. Belen is Spanish for “Bethlehem” (the Birthplace of Christ). The Town is fighting the Court to keep the Nativity scene on city property, and officials may even sell the land to a private owner. The Mayor said –

“The position of the city is that the Nativity scene will stay right where it is. PERIOD,” Jerah Cordova told The Associated Press. “I know within the city itself almost everyone supports the Nativity Scene.”

In Santa Monica, California, the long battle to keep Nativity Scenes at Palisades Park recently ended when a Court panel upheld a city law that bars unattended exhibits. Santa Monica residents began erecting large dioramas depicting the Biblical story of Christmas in Palisades Park during the 1950s. In 2003, the city decided that unattended displays would be permitted only in Palisades Park and only during December. All members of the community were entitled to apply for a “Winter Display” in the park, and spots were allotted on a first-come basis. In 2011, atheists opposed to the Nativity Story displays, bombarded the city with applications and won a majority of the spots allotted. The Nativity backers and the atheists both vowed to flood the display-space lottery with even more applications in 2012. Rather than deal with the cost and time of processing so many applications, the city decided to END ALL unattended displays in the park.

It’s been disrespectful enough to Christians in this Country, for years, seeing the word “CHRISTmas” be unceremoniously BANNED in the mainstream media and public square, while being replaced with meaningless politically correct phrases like “Happy Holidays” or “Seasons Greetings”. Now, these hostile enemies of Lord Jesus don’t just want to silence any mention of His Holy Name, they desire strongly to wipe out every remnant of Christ-worship from this Holy Season altogether. If we Christians don’t start standing up to them, they are sadly going to succeed. God forgive us if they ever do.
