Two years ago, I highlighted the many attacks on the Christian Faith in this sacred season by the Godless FFRF (Freedom From Religion Foundation), and the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union). Besides these two vitriolic enemies of Christ, the anti-God atheists, leftists, and liberals love to blaspheme, pervert, secularize, and even paganize Christmas. They wish that they could rename the Holy Day altogether to once and for all remove Christ from the annual celebration of His Birth.
No matter how much the secular world has attempted to remove Jesus as the centerpiece of the season, by supplanting him with Santa Claus, snowmen, reindeer, elves and trees, or by replacing “Merry Christmas” with “Happy Holidays”, they have not succeeded. Too many faithful believers fight back year after year to keep Christ in Christmas. So, it seems that the new strategy of the God-haters is not to replace Jesus anymore, but to mock Him, blaspheme Him, and even pervert the story of His Birth.
One example of blasphemy, mockery, and perversion all rolled into one is the new “gaytivity” movement. After comedienne, Cameron Esposito, posted an image on Twitter last week of a Nativity scene in California featuring two Josephs, many in the LGBT community and their supporters erected “gaytivity” scenes of their own. This is in no way the LGBT community trying to honor our Lord “in their own way”, but rather they are doing it to mock the Birth of our Savior, publicly blaspheme our God, and pervert the Holy celebration.
The 2 Josephs are wearing pink and kneeling beside a Baby Jesus. Mary is nowhere to be found. They irreverently removed our Lord’s Virgin Mother from the scene altogether. Esposito, upon sharing the image, wrote “Our neighbors’ two Joseph nativity is up & I’m beaming.” She was celebrating the fact that her neighbors were making a mockery of our Lord’s Birth. Her post went “viral”, receiving more than 3,000 retweets and over 20,000 likes.
The Twitterverse erupted with many others posting images of their own “gaytivity” scenes, or by tweeting messages of approval and support for the disgraceful decor. Some of the comments that really disgusted me were: “Here come the three wise men. Now it’s a party.” … “The Bible says that Jesus had two dads.” … “We need to do this instead of stealing a baby Jesus this year.” … “Jesus, Marty & Joseph.” One user responded by posting an image of a lesbian “gaytivity” scene featuring two Marys.
Where do I begin in addressing this sacrilege? First, let me deal with the comments. The 3 wise men comment obviously meant to turn the Holy Bible’s most important story into a gay orgy. There are no words to describe the utter disgust I have for such unadulterated blasphemy. That person better hope that they won’t be meeting God anytime soon, because Hell won’t be hot enough for them.
Second, there was actually more than one comment I found that used the argument that “Jesus had 2 dads”. It is true, but NOT in the way that they want it to be. Jesus had His Father in Heaven, which is also our Father in Heaven, Almighty God YaHWeH. Jesus was also given by YaHWeH a foster father on earth to raise and protect our Lord when He was a babe and a child. This was God’s way of showing us that He desires for every child to have BOTH a Mother and a Father on earth to raise them.
So, the argument that kids will grow up just fine with 2 dads or 2 moms goes against the Word of God and His Will for the human race. So, Jesus did have two Dads, but they certainly were not “romantically involved” liked the Twitter user’s comment implied. One Father was in Heaven, and one was on earth. Period. Nothing “homosexual” can ever be construed by that Biblical fact.
Third, the next comment justified stealing Jesus from Nativity scenes. This user, I’m sure, is one of the “live and let live” liberals who calls for “tolerance” for all lifestyles and beliefs. Yet, if someone is putting up a Nativity scene honoring Jesus Christ as Lord of all, this person won’t “tolerate” it and is willing to break God’s 8th Commandment in the process. Oh, those tolerant liberals.
Finally, to the “Jesus, Marty, and Joseph” comment… this person must be an atheist, because by saying such a thing you are literally slapping God in the Face. You are spitting on His Word of Truth. That person, along with the many others retweeting him, is rewriting God’s Love Story to mankind and perverting it into homosexual filth. He must have convinced himself that there is no God, because it takes major cojones to blaspheme the Saviour of your soul and His Godly parents.
As much as the LGBT community loves to mock or rewrite the Holy Bible, the fact is they can never change the TRUTH. God’s Word is wholly inerrant, and has stood the test of time. Many have come and gone, throughout history, that have tried to change people’s minds as to what God’s Word says and means. At the end of the day, they never succeed in changing more than a few, because when anyone truly examines the Holy Bible, the Word of the LORD is crystal clear on every subject and leaves no question as to where God stands on anything.
So, while the Biblically-hostile LGBT mafia mocks Christians for believing in “fables”, the fact is that they are the only ones cooking up fables these days. The Holy, sinless, and perfect saviour of the world did not and could NEVER have two fathers or two mothers because He would be exposed to abominable sin on a daily basis. Mary was a pure, holy, and chaste Virgin specifically chosen by God to be the vessel which would bring forth His Christ.
Joseph was a wise and righteous man in God’s Sight, and thus was chosen to be the husband to Mary and father to Jesus. Our Lord had to have God-fearing parents to bring Him into this world and raise Him. Throughout history, we have known full well that homosexuals do not fear God. If they did, they would repent and turn from their rebellious and sinful lifestyles. Sadly, 99 times out of 100, they do not.
What really bothers me most about the “gaytivity” scene is the removal of Mary. If the gays were to put up two Josephs but leave Mary in her rightful place, then maybe I and other believers would not be as angry and offended. Without Mary, we can have no Saviour of the world. We have no hope for the future. We have no faithful promise from God of Eternal Life. I’m not saying, by any means, that Mary saves us. No, not at all. I’m saying that without her, Jesus would not be Who He IS. He had to come through the womb of an undefiled and God-fearing VIRGIN.
By doing so, He would not enter this world by the sinful seed of Adam, but rather by the Holy Spirit of His Father in Heaven. He would be perfect, sinless, spotless, unblemished, untainted, pure, and all-Holy in every way. Without being born of a virgin, He could not be any of those things as a human man. So Mary, behind only Jesus, is the key figure in the Christmas story. To remove her from the story means that whoever does so obviously hasn’t got one iota of Biblical knowledge whatsoever. We must pray for them if that is the case.
God found Mary worthy, above ALL women who had ever lived or will ever live, to bring forth His Only Begotten Son in the flesh. Thus, I believe that she should be honored above all women who have ever lived or will ever live. When anyone dishonors the Mother of our Lord, as these “gaytivity scene” advocates are doing, I believe that they are dishonoring GOD Almighty Himself.
If He calls her blessed above all women, then you had better be very careful not to disrespect her. As to the two Marys “lesbian gaytivity”, it is just as blasphemous as the two Josephs, because you are blatantly removing one of the most crucial figures from our Lord’s Nativity story. There are Biblical curses for those who add to or take away from God’s Word, so I would advise the LGBT community to stop with these abominations before it’s too late.
I’ve said it in many of my articles, but it bears repeating, that God created man, and then He created woman FOR man. If God thought it was ok for Adam to sleep with other men, then God would have just created another man. He didn’t. He created Eve. God also gave the command of marriage, for a husband to take a wife, and to be fruitful and multiply. If a husband took a husband, or a wife took a wife, there would be no “multiplying” going on.
In a generation where men want to be women, and women want to be men, or don’t want to be EITHER, we need to start shouting God’s Truth from the rooftops. The current road society is headed down will lead nowhere good, and I believe will lead this nation and world straight to Hell. God’s Word is Eternal, immutable, unchangeable, and uncompromising. There is no debating or rewriting it. It it what it is. It is what it always has been… 777% TRUTH.
We Christians can not sit back while atheists try to remove our Lord from the annual celebration of HIS Birth, and we also cannot be silent while liberals are trying to pervert Christmas in every way that they can. It is one thing to not believe in the LORD and His sent Saviour, but it is a whole ‘nother dangerous thing to MOCK and wage war on the Living God. We, as believers, must never be shy in saying “Merry Christmas”. We must honor our Lord however we can with Nativity scenes, or by putting His Name in lights. We must be bold in proclaiming that JESUS is the Reason for the season, and that Christmas begins with CHRIST.
