TRACKING THE TROPICS: Pay Close Attention To Biblically-Named Hurricanes

Since its inception, some of the most popular articles on this website have been those chronicling God’s judgments upon the USA through historic hurricanes. In the past few years, there has definitely been no shortage of them. One of the biggest reasons for God’s Wrath being poured out upon this nation, as I have extensively documented, is America’s mistreatment of Israel.

That mistreatment entails U.S. Presidential Administrations pressuring the Jewish State to give up some of its Eternal God-given Holy Land for so-called “peace” with the murderous Palestinians. I will delve into this subject more throughout this article, and connect some of the strongest, costliest, and deadliest U.S. hurricanes to American Presidents attempting to broker the division of Israel’s Land.

There are many other reasons over the past few decades as to why God would be judging America through these powerful storms, which appear to be getting worse every year. Whether it be removing God from government and the public square, widespread blasphemy and moral decay, legalizing SIN such as Same-Sex Marriage, or the holocaust of our nation’s babies through abortion. America has given the LORD far too many reasons to incur His Wrath.

Our country was founded as a Judeo-Christian nation, and there can be no argument that the more we see America depart from this foundation, the country suffers the consequences. God’s judgments upon a nation (especially a backslidden one) come in many forms, such as earthquakes, tornado outbreaks, stock market collapse, extreme heat, record cold, and so much more. Today I’m focusing solely on the hurricanes.

The list of names for the 2018 Atlantic Hurricane Season was recently released, and we should take note of them. While I’m no “prophet”, I faithfully observe the signs of the times occurring all around us in these latter days through a Biblical lense. I don’t follow the majority of the world in attributing the rare and record-breaking weather events to random “climate change” or “global warming”.

The connections of so many U.S. disasters to the mistreatment of Israel alone should convince even the most hardened of skeptics that the Divine Hand of God is at work in the weather. Thus, I truly believe that if any of the 2018 Hurricanes will be used by the LORD to execute judgments upon America, we need to pay careful attention to BIBLICALLY-named storms.

After observing the 2018 List, I have counted five of them – Debby (DEBORAH) – ISAAC – MICHAEL – Rafael (RAPHAEL) – SARA (Sarah/Sarai). Anyone familiar with the Holy Bible will clearly recognize these names. Two of them (Michael and Raphael) are ArchAngels of God, and the other three are well-known Old Testament names.

To highlight the significance of Biblically-named hurricanes in American history, I researched the list of “retired” hurricanes which made U.S. landfall. In 1953, the United States began using female names for tropical cyclones, and starting in 1979, the World Meteorological Organization added male names. The storms which caused the most devastation were deemed significant enough to have their names retired.

It is no coincidence, that the very first male hurricane name to ever be retired was BIBLICAL. That hurricane was DAVID, the name of God’s beloved chosen King of ancient ISRAEL. Hurricane David was a historic Category 5 storm. With winds of 175 mph, David was the most powerful hurricane to make landfall on the Dominican Republic in the 20th century, and the deadliest there since 1930.

In the United States, David produced widespread damage costing $320 million (which is nearly ONE BILLION USD today). This was the first and last use of the name David, being immediately retired following this storm because of its devastation and high death toll. What I found extremely interesting while viewing an image of the Hurricane making landfall in the United States, was that it looked to me like a map of the modern-day nation of Israel.

Sure enough, I downloaded a map of Israel and superimposed the storm image over it, and it seemed to fit almost perfectly. See for yourself –

Coincidence? I personally don’t think that you can believe in “coincidence” or “chance”, while also believing in God. Everything happens for a reason with Him, and anyone who believes in the randomness of “climate change” causing hurricanes needs to take a good long look at the image above.

The fact that the first ever named hurricane to be retired was David (the King of Israel), and that the storm actually mirrored the shape of the State of Israel today, is nothing short of miraculous. Want to be shocked even more by the connection between this Hurricane and the United States brokering a deal in which Israel gave up “Land for Peace”?

On March 26th, 1979, the Peace Treaty between Israel and Egypt was signed on AMERICAN SOIL, in Washington D.C., and witnessed by U.S. President Jimmy Carter. The Treaty required the “complete withdrawal” by Israel from the Sinai Peninsula which the Jewish State captured during the Six-Day War of 1967. On August 25th, 1979, the eve of the 6 month anniversary of the treaty signing, Hurricane DAVID officially formed.

This was just one of many examples of God expressing his extreme displeasure with the United States pressuring Israel to give up chunks of their Promised Land for “peace”. The first retired Biblically-named female Hurricane which I discovered, and which is also associated with Israel, was BEULAH. While David was an obvious Biblical name, which even unbelievers are familiar with, Beulah is a name only familiar to well-studied Holy Bible students.

The name is used in Isaiah 62:4, in a verse where God refers to the Jewish people reinhabiting their ancient God-given Land. He tells them that they are “MARRIED” to the Holy Land of Israel. Beulah in the Hebrew means “married”. It is extremely interesting that Hurricane Beulah struck America in the year 1967, and I’ll explain why.

Beulah formed on September 5th, 1967. That is exactly 3 months TO THE DAY of June 5th, the start of Israel’s Six-Day War with its aggressive muslim neighbors. That was the miraculous war in which Israel defeated the many arab nations coming against the Jewish State to destroy her, and they reclaimed much of their ancient God-given Homeland. Two of the most important pieces of the Promised Land which Israel reacquired in the war were Eastern Jerusalem and Judea.

So God actually fulfilled that ancient Biblical prophecy of Isaiah, containing the name “Beulah”, 3 months to the day of the historic Hurricane Beulah forming! Also it is important to note, that leading up to the Six-Day-War, unfortunately American leadership refused Israeli requests for military aid. The U.S. also refused to approve an Israeli preemptive attack on Egypt, though the Jewish State’s many enemies were preparing to launch an attack against her on all sides.

Could Beulah have been Almighty God’s rebuke to the United States for not defending His Chosen Nation? I can’t possibly be the first one to ever notice this, can I?! Once again, this was nothing short of miraculous, and quite obviously the Divine Hand of God at work. Beulah was the strongest, and only, major hurricane of the 1967 Atlantic hurricane season. It, like David, was a devastating Category 5 storm.

It spawned 115 tornadoes across Texas, which established a new record for the highest amount of tornadoes produced by a tropical cyclone. Due to its slow movement over Texas, Beulah led to significant flooding. Nearly 60 people lost their lives to the storm, and total damage reached $235 million (which is over $800 million USD today).

It is also not coincidence that Texas was the U.S. State which God chose to bring His wrath upon, as it is known as the “Lone Star State”. There is another place known as the “Lone Star State” in the world today, and that would be the nation of ISRAEL.

The next retired Biblical name I came across was ANDREW, who was one of our Lord Jesus’ disciples. Andrew is one of the first disciples called, along with his brother Peter. These were the two whom Jesus said he would make “fishers of men”. In mid-August 1992, Andrew became yet another disastrous Category 5 Hurricane. It was the most powerful hurricane to ever hit the State of Florida until last year’s Hurricane Irma.

It was also the costliest hurricane to ever make landfall in the United States until Hurricane Katrina in 2005. It is the 7th costliest hurricane in U.S. history. Andrew caused over $27 BILLION in damage, and left 65 people dead. So was Andrew connected to mistreatment of Israel as well? Yep.

On the 23rd of August, President George H. Bush held his second Madrid Conference, which pushed Israel to give up “Land for peace” with Palestine. In the VERY SAME DAY, Hurricane Andrew made landfall in Florida. At that time, Andrew was the worst natural disaster to ever hit America.

Another disciple recently made the list of Biblically-named retired hurricanes, and that was MATTHEW. Hurricane Matthew was the first Category 5 Atlantic hurricane since Hurricane Felix in 2007. The destructive storm caused widespread damage in Haiti, and the southeastern United States. It was the deadliest Atlantic hurricane since Hurricane Stan in 2005.

In Florida, over 1 million homes lost power, and nearly 500,000 lost power in Georgia and South Carolina. In total, 600 lost their lives to Matthew (47 in the US), and damage from Matthew across the United States reached about $10 BILLION. Matthew made landfall in the U.S. during the SAME WEEK of the Biblical Feast of Trumpets, known as Rosh Hashana.

The damaging storm formed in the Atlantic Ocean on September 24th, and that is Biblically significant. The Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 24 is regarded as one of the most important pieces of scripture among Bible Prophecy buffs concerning Jesus Christ’s Return.

Aside from the Book of Revelation, and Luke’s Gospel (Chapter 21), Matthew 24 gives us Jesus’ firsthand account of the signs to watch for which point to the Rapture of the faithful, and His Second Coming. The fact that the historic hurricane named Matthew formed on the 24th during the Biblical “High Holy Days” is not just extremely interesting, but simply incredible. The final, and most recent, Biblically-named retired hurricane you are all very familiar with. That would be last year’s “3rd most costliest Atlantic hurricane” in U.S. history, MARIA. For those of you who don’t know, Maria is the translation in many languages for the Biblical name of MARY. Everyone on planet earth should know that Mary was the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Just like the hurricane bearing the Biblical name of the globally known King David, the storm bearing the Biblical name of Mary will be remembered for a very long time. Hurricane Maria, which was also a powerful Category 5, is the worst natural disaster on record in Dominica and Puerto Rico, and the 10th-most intense Atlantic hurricane on record. Total damages from the storm are estimated at nearly $100 BILLION.

Also, like the other historic Cat-5 hurricanes to strike the U.S., Maria was connected to America’s leadership demanding Israel give up “Land for peace” to the Palestinians. Hurricane Maria made landfall in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico on the eve of the Biblical Feast of Trumpets, New Year’s Day in Israel. It would be the third and final major hurricane to strike property of the United States in just over a month’s time, following Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

That many Category 4-5 storms hitting that close together was unprecedented in U.S. history to my knowledge. Even more astounding, all 3 of these devastating hurricanes struck in the final weeks of the Biblical year 5777. I explain why that year was so important prophetically for our generation in a previous article.

These 3 Hurricanes last year have ALL made the list of the Top 5 Costliest U.S. Hurricanes on record. Also, the three of them hitting back to back to back symbolize to me the “TRINITY” (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) warning America’s leadership to “BACK OFF ISRAEL”.

For those of you who have not read my articles about Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, it was in the SAME DAY, even the SAME HOURS that a U.S. delegation met with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Palestinian President Abbas to renew stalled Israeli-Palestinian “Peace Process” that the first major hurricane to strike Texas in 12 years FORMED.

The record-shattering Hurricane Harvey was the longest a Texas landfalling hurricane remained a named storm after landfall since 1971. The storm poured over 50 inches of rain, the greatest amount ever recorded in the Lower 48 states from a single storm. Harvey was the 2nd most expensive storm in U.S. history at around $125 BILLION, behind only Hurricane Katrina.

Harvey was the first Category 4 storm to make landfall in America in almost 15 years. While the hurricane was still wreaking havoc on the Lone Star State, and surrounding States, another monster storm was forming in the Atlantic, known as IRMA. Sadly, the President didn’t learn from Harvey to stop pushing “Land-for-Peace” on Israel.

It was reported that Trump himself would meet with Netanyahu and Abbas on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. His administration said the meetings would focus specifically on laying a foundation for the “Peace” talks, meaning “Israeli Land for peace” talks.

Also a Category 4, Hurricane Irma made landfall in the U.S. on the FIRST DAY of the week that Trump was set to hold those UN “Peace” meetings. Irma was one of the strongest storms ever recorded, packing 185 mph winds before striking America. It is the first storm ever observed, in any ocean, to sustain winds of 185 mph for more than 24 hours.

Irma maintained 185 mph for 37 straight hours. Irma’s arrival into Florida, following Harvey in Texas, marked the first time on record that two Category 4 Hurricanes had made landfall in the United States in the same year. Hurricane Irma generated enough accumulated cyclone energy to meet the NOAA’s definition of a FULL Atlantic hurricane SEASON.

By itself, Irma was more powerful than 18 of 51 full hurricane seasons since 1966. The mammoth storm blanketed the ENTIRE State of Florida, and also impacted surrounding States with hurricane-force winds and record flooding. There have been other historic storms and hurricanes that have struck the U.S. which were not Biblically named, but were no doubt connected to America forcing Israel to give up God-given Land in a future “Peace” Deal with Palestine.

Back on October 31st of 1991, George H. Bush promoted his first Madrid Peace Conference, in which he sought to divide up the Land of Israel in exchange for “peace” with the Palestinians. On the very NEXT DAY, what has become known as “the Perfect Storm” formed in the Atlantic. The rare storm moved east to west, as opposed to a natural track from west to east.

The storm was so unusual that a book and movie were made about it. President Bush’s home and vacation compound were severely damaged by the storm, as waves as high as his 3-story home filled the house with sea water and caused extensive damage.

On September 13th, 1993, President Bush signed the “Oslo Accord”, which was labeled a “Land for Peace” accord that demanded Israel award some of their land to the Palestinians. The very NEXT DAY, Hurricane Emily slammed into the United States with winds up to 115 miles per hour.

On September 28th, 1998, Secretary of State Madeleine Albright finishes the final details of an agreement which requires Israel to surrender 13% of Judea and Samaria to the Palestinians. President Bill Clinton meets with Palestinian president Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu at the White House to brief them on the agreement.

On the SAME DAY, Hurricane George blasted the Gulf Coast with 110 mph winds and gusts up to 175 mph. The storm caused $1 billion in damage. At the exact time that Yasser Arafat departed U.S. soil, the storm began to dissipate.

In 2005, Hurricane Katrina formed in the SAME DAY that Israel was forced by President George W. Bush, through his “Roadmap to Peace”, to finalize forcibly evacuating thousands of Jews from their homes in the Gaza Strip. In a mirror image, at the same exact time that these Jews were being forced out of their homes in Gaza, thousands of Americans in the south were being evacuated from their cities and towns due to Katrina flooding.

Back to present day, it was recently announced by the Trump Administration that the full “Trump Peace Plan” would be unveiled shortly after the U.S. Embassy move to Israel’s Capital of Jerusalem. The Embassy event took place on May 14th, the 70th Anniversary of Israel’s rebirth.

There are reports (and I pray they are FALSE) that the President’s upcoming plan will call for Israel to hand over 40% of Judea and Samaria to the Palestinians, ON TOP OF parts of the Holy City, Jerusalem. Some reports even indicate that the Old City of Jerusalem will be internationalized! That sounds like something that the United Nations has been calling for, and it would so not sit well with Almighty God.

If these reports are true, America had better prepare for another historic hurricane striking the nation this year. Depending on just how bad Trump’s “Peace Plan” for Israel is, and if he really does pressure them to give up “Land for peace” in it, the U.S. may have to prepare for MANY more devastating hurricanes this year.

I believe the 3 historic storms last year were “final warning” judgments, meant as a message to America’s leadership, to stop trying to divide the LORD’s Holy Land. Though simply a warning, they were 3 of the top 5 costliest hurricanes in our nation’s history! If those storms were ONLY God’s warning, then how extreme will the coming judgments of God be if America’s leadership doesn’t heed His warnings?! I shudder to think…

Keep a close eye on Deborah, Isaac, Michael, Raphael, and Sara, because these Biblical names could be seen in our news media very soon. And mark my words, their appearance in our headlines will NOT be “good news” for America.
