(Via WND.com) – When it comes to abortion, the heart of our nation is changing – for the better! We saw this firsthand on Friday as we were in D.C. at the annual March for Life.
The size of the crowd was amazing. At one point, there were people as far as our eyes could see in every direction. But what was even more amazing was that more than half the crowd appeared to be made up of high-school and college-aged kids. We were blown away.
The morning of the march, we spoke at the National Prayer Service, hosted by Father Frank Pavone with Priests for Life. Crowds of young people continued to fill Constitution Hall, even as we spoke. By the time we left the stage, the overwhelming majority of attendees were students.
Their energy and readiness to engage for the unborn greatly encouraged our hearts.
Having been in the pro-life movement since the early ’80s with our dad (he was a national pro-life leader when we were growing up), we’ve never seen such a positive surge of young people into this movement.
And we believe this is just the tip of the iceberg. Not only do we have truth on our side – because truth will always prevail in the end – but we also have breathtaking technology on our side. There’s simply no denying the humanity of pre-born life anymore.
The momentum in America has shifted in a marked way.
During our dad’s time, he and other faithful pro-life warriors fought for freedom in the pro-life movement to minister at abortion clinics, gather at pro-life rallies and be a voice for the voiceless on the national stage. They did the heavy lifting, and, as a result, the number of free-standing abortion clinics dropped from more than 2,000 in 1991 to fewer than 700 today!
But now, as truth pervades the hearts of America’s young people and technology confirms what they already know deep in their souls, this freedom is mixing with youthful excitement – and we believe the end of abortion is drawing near. We can feel it.
The theme for the march was “Love Saves Lives.” That’s spot on, and it’s taken from a few scriptures:
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” ~ John 15:13
“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” ~ 1st Corinthians 13:6
“Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.” ~ Romans 12:9
“Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.” ~ Proverbs 24:11
Love does save lives. And that’s the love filling the hearts of America’s youth today. And it’s changing the heart of our nation!
It’s time to join the movement. It’s time to be a voice. It’s time to truly love – because love saves lives!

Thanks for sharing article. So very encouraging. I too, am hopeful that we will see Roe versus Wade overturned even in the next few years. I have been praying for this cause for many years and have more hope today than ever.
