Nations Gathered Against JERUSALEM: Anti-Israel Vote At UN Fulfills Biblical Prophecy

“Thus saith the LORD, In that day will I make JERUSALEM a burdensome stone for ALL nations: all those who try to move it shall be cut in pieces, when ALL the nations of the earth be gathered together AGAINST IT.” ~ Zechariah 12:3

On December 21st, 2017, we witnessed this 2,500 year old Biblical Prophecy by the prophet Zechariah come to pass before our very eyes, as the United Nations convened to gather together AGAINST JERUSALEM. The Global body represents “ALL nations on earth”. Yesterday’s rare “emergency session” was held to vote on a historic anti-Israel resolution.

The vote, called for by Turkey’s anti-semitic president Recep Erdogan and many other Islamic world leaders, “condemned the United States recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital”, and called on the Trump administration to “rescind its decision to move the U.S. Embassy there.” Nearly 200 of the world’s nations voted on the measure.

This vote had major implications concerning “Last Days” Biblical Prophecy. It publicly determined which nations oppose God’s chosen nation on the world stage, and which nations support His Jewish State. Over 75% of the world’s nations went on record as being “for or against” the Word of Almighty God. Anyone who knows His Word knows that He declares Jerusalem to be the eternal possession of Israel nearly 1,000 times.

Every nation on earth, that voted “against” Jerusalem being the God-given property of Israel, publicly opposed the LORD and welcomed his judgments. For God has said clearly that “all nations” who contend with or oppose Israel are, in reality, contending with and opposing HIM. He has promised to judge, curse, and DESTROY all nations that come against His Holy City, Jerusalem.

Yesterday, 128 nations set themselves up for coming destruction. In the meantime, they can assuredly expect the LORD’s judgments and curses. Of 185 nations that voted, only SEVEN, yes “7”, voted on the side of Israel and the United States. Thus, they voted on the side of our GOD. This small number, while extremely disappointing, is actually encouraging.

I believe it may fulfill another Biblical Prophecy pointing to the Rapture, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus to earth. In the Book of Micah 5:5, we read about how the Messiah of Israel (Jesus Christ) will be “our peace when the enemies of Israel invade the Land…” It goes on to say, “We will raise against them (Israel’s enemies) SEVEN SHEPHERDS, even EIGHT commanders.” Very interesting connection to the UN Vote!

Seven nations stood with Israel, alongside the United States (EIGHT NATIONS), while the rest of the world stood against them.

35 nations had abstained yesterday, not wanting to vote one way or the other. These are what I call “lukewarm” nations, which are just as much a disgrace to God as the 128 nations who voted against Him. God says many times in His Word that you are either for Him or against Him. There is no in the middle. There is no on the fence. You are either hot or cold.

The UN vote made clear that 163 nations of the world are “cold” to the Word of God, and do not take seriously His threats of punishment for coming against His people, Israel. These nations are going to find out real quick just how true God’s Word is, and they are all going to deeply regret standing on the wrong side of history.

Leading up to the contentious vote, US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, told the United Nations that the United States “will be taking names” of the nations voting against Donald Trump’s Jerusalem declaration. President Trump reaffirmed her statement, adding that the US would stop financially supporting the UN and those nations. AMEN.

For someone who was “Never Trump” throughout the Presidential Election, I have to say that Donald Trump has undoubtedly had the best month of his Presidency thus far. He finally appears to be listening to the right Godly advisers. I pray that he keeps his promise to stop funding nations which are hostile to Israel and the USA, and to once and for all DEFUND the UN! It has been a long time coming, and I think that we finally have a President with the cojones to actually do it.

Obviously, a majority of the global body did not heed Trump’s warning and voted against Israel in the end. I hope that he makes them realize they all made a huge mistake. Nikki Haley also publicly called out the UN to their faces for their longstanding anti-Israel bias before the vote. She said, “To its shame, the United Nations has long been a hostile place for the State of Israel.”

“Both the current and the previous Secretary-Generals have objected to the U.N.’s disproportionate focus on Israel. It’s a wrong that undermines the credibility of this institution, and that in turn is harmful for the entire world.” Following the vote, she pulled no punches, saying, “The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in the General Assembly for the very act of exercising our right as a sovereign nation.”

“We will remember it when we are called upon to once again make the world’s largest contribution to the United Nations, and so many countries come calling on us, as they so often do, to pay even more and to use our influence for their benefit.” The most important thing that the Ambassador had said was “America WILL put our Embassy in Jerusalem.”

“That is what the American people want us to do, and it is the RIGHT thing to do. This vote will make a difference in how Americans look at the U.N. And this vote will be remembered,” Haley concluded.

The Biblically-illiterate nations of the world that voted against Israel on Thursday don’t understand that Donald Trump’s Jerusalem declaration, on December 6th, was not just a recognition of modern reality, but a recognition of over 5,000 years of history. Read my recent article to understand why. In the end, it really does not matter one bit what every nation or person on earth has to say about Jerusalem.

It only matters what Almighty God says. And He has made crystal clear that NO other people on earth, besides the Jews, have the authority to call the Holy City their Eternal Capital. Not one centimeter of Jerusalem belongs to the Palestinians. In reality, the Holy Bible tells us that Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia are actually “occupying” Land that God has eternally given to Israel.

The LORD speaks of the Jewish State’s Land boundaries as an EVERLASTING possession. It is their Holy Land alone. So, no matter how many anti-Israel resolutions that the Godless UN passes, they can never change this age-old TRUTH. Someday, the nations of the world are going to weep for contending with the God of the Universe.

They will all have to answer to our Lord Jesus Christ someday soon. The main reason that He returns to earth in His Second Coming is to PERSONALLY put an end to the enemies of Israel. The first time He came was to be the Messiah of their eternal souls. The second time around, He will be the warring Messiah sent to defend their mortal lives and nation from certain annihilation.

When all of the Godless nations of the world don’t just “vote” against Israel, but actually make physical war against the Jewish State, the armies of Heaven descend to earth with Christ Jesus leading the charge. So, in a nutshell, in the End it will be Israel and GOD versus literally the entire WORLD.

Joel 3:2 specifically says that the nations of the world are JUDGED for “dividing” His Holy Land of Israel. The number one goal of the United Nations, illustrated by yesterday’s vote, is to forcefully divide Israel’s Promised Land, especially JERUSALEM.

If you’ve never believed the Holy Bible before, I don’t know how you could remain an unbeliever after seeing all of this Biblical Prophecy play out in our lifetime. It is also interesting to note that the country who sponsored the anti-Israel resolution, TURKEY, is one of the specifically mentioned nations that lead the battle campaign against Israel.

It is no surprise that the other nations mentioned by name in the Book of Ezekiel (Chapters 38-39), fighting alongside Turkey, are Iran, Russia and China. Possibly even North Korea. Are you a believer yet?! If not, maybe you will be when you hear that the parcel of Land that the Battle of Armageddon (World War 3) is fought over is JERUSALEM…

“For I will gather ALL nations against JERUSALEM to battle; and the City shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. THEN shall the Lord (Jesus Christ) go forth, and fight AGAINST those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.” ~ Zechariah 14:3

Arguably, the biggest sign of our Lord’s return to earth is the nations of the world gathering together against JERUSALEM.

While the Assad regime in Syria murders thousands of its own people, while Iran and North Korea amass nuclear missiles to fire at Israel, America, and the western world, while Islamic nations persecute, jail, and MURDER Christians – bulldoze Churches – throw homosexuals off of highrise buildings – rape children, and oppress women, while Russia pursues obtaining global power by force, the NUMBER ONE thing on the agenda of the United Nations is… the Holy City of JERUSALEM.

If you don’t believe we are living in the Biblical “Last Days” then you are not paying attention. As one of my most influential teachers, Jack Van Impe, always says “get your head out of the sand mr. ostrich.” I wanted to end this article by recording how the nations of the world voted at the UN yesterday. That way, when major disasters befall any of the “yes” nations listed below, there will be no question as to why.

First, even though most of the nations who voted “no”, and thus stood WITH Israel, WITH the USA, and WITH GOD, are unrecognizable to most people… the LORD knows exactly who they are. When He separates the “sheep” from the “goat” nations in the End, I believe that these 7 nations will enter the sheepfold. Sadly, there will be HUNDREDS more in the herd of goats. I bet you never thought that you’d see U.S. allies like the United Kingdom, Germany, France, or Italy taking the same side as Iran, Syria and North Korea, but indeed they did. You would think the strange bedfellows would alert our allies that they were standing on the wrong side, but they proved that they are not truly allies of Israel or the USA.

They need to be CUT OFF, along with the United Nations. The United States provides about 30% of UN funding. This disgrace must END today. I pray for the President to have the will to defund them immediately after yesterday’s Godless vote, and that he cuts off every nation financially who voted “yes”.

Our taxpayer dollars should not be funding nations who are hostile toward our greatest ally Israel, and thus, who are hostile toward our GOD. It may not be politically correct, but it is most certainly Biblically correct, to say that the 128 nations listed above are now on God’s HIT LIST. They can all expect disastrous judgments and curses in the near future.

You cannot mock, test, and oppose the Creator of heaven and earth and get away with it. These nations “united” against Israel are indeed united against God. They have made their bed with the wicked before Him, and now they are going to have to deal with the consequences of LYING IN IT.
