Why I Will WRITE-IN Ted Cruz, And Why No One Can Change My Mind

I write a lot about Politics, because after 8 years of witnessing this Christian Nation be radically transformed, I desperately desire America to return to our God. 2016 was supposed to be the Year that this would finally happen. The most Biblically-hostile, anti-God, anti-Israel, pro-Islam antiChrist president will finally depart the White House, and the leading Democrat candidate to succeed him is embroiled in controversies and scandals. Hillary Clinton’s unfavorability ratings are through the roof. This Election should have been a slam dunk for the Republican Party. Yet, because of Donald J. Trump, uninformed voters, and so-called “conservative” media pundits salivating over Trump, Republicans may actually lose in November. They will have no one to blame but THEMSELVES.

In what was once proudly known as the “Religious Right”, the focus of many has turned to the selfish attitude of making America “rich and prosperous”, or as Trump says, “great again”. Many conservatives are abandoning traditional moral views and Biblical values to hop aboard the “Trump Train” because everyone else seems to be doing it. What a shame. Donald’s focus is not on what our focus should be, which is humbly returning and rededicating this Nation to Almighty God. Instead, he’s focused on making a lot of “really good deals” for America, on “building a really big wall”, on making America “really rich” again. He wants to run America like a business, but any business without God at it’s head is destined to FAIL.

For all of you Conservative Christians voting for Trump, how do you defend him taking the same position as Liberal Democrats on the Transgender bathroom issue dividing the Country? His position is to the left of the most “moderate” RINOS (Republicans In Name Only).

How do you defend voting for a man who has said that the abortion peddler Planned Parenthood does “many wonderful things”? He also recently said that he desires to “rewrite” the Party’s stance on abortion in the Republican platform.

How do you defend supporting a nominee for President, whom an advocacy group for gay Republicans said, “Is one of the BEST, if not THE best, pro-gay Republican candidates to EVER run for the presidency,” and would “do no harm on same-sex marriage” because of a “stand-out position” on nondiscrimination legislation?

How do you staunch pro-Israel conservatives defend Trump saying that He would be “NEUTRAL” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? He also pledges to give the “Peace Plan” (which DIVIDES the Holy Land of Israel and gives some of the Jewish State’s Holiest Cities to the murderous Islamists of Palestine) “one hell of a shot.” Trump said, “If I do win, there has to be a certain amount of surprise, UNPREDICTABILITY, our country has no unpredictability.”

It’s fine to be unpredictable on certain things, but in an age old conflict involving our greatest Ally? NEVER. We must always be predictable to the entire world that we will FOREVER stand arm in arm and shoulder to shoulder with ISRAEL. In my opinion, if Donald can’t make the deals he desires with our Greatest Ally, I wouldn’t put it past him to treat the Jewish State just as lousy as he does Ted Cruz. Trump is all about HIMSELF. He’s the Republican Obama, meaning “his way or the highway”. Now that Trump has been recently sensing victory, his mask is finally coming off. His liberal “New York Values” are on display for all Republicans to clearly see.

Trump’s senior aide, Paul Manafort, recently told Republican National Committee members that “the part that Donald’s been playing is evolving into the part that you’ve been expecting, but he wasn’t ready for, because he had first to complete the first phase. The negatives will come down. The image is going to CHANGE.” This means, that any politically incorrect language that conservatives may have found appealing will be gone, and the moderate New York liberal Trump will arrive. Manafort went on to say, “You’ll start to see more depth of the person, the REAL person. You’ll see a real DIFFERENT guy.”

Responding to this, the Conservative writer for FOX News, Todd Starnes, said “We were led to believe that Mr. Trump was one of US — a conservative of the gun-toting, Bible-clinging variety. But friends, Mr. Trump is NO conservative. His talk is far different from his walk.”

I believe that many Democrats have registered to vote Republican in primaries simply to prop up Trump because they feel he is the candidate that best loses to Hillary, but still Donald has truly attracted some Dems to support him. That should tell you something. Democrats are not becoming Republicans in record numbers because they have all of a sudden “seen the light”. It is not because they have become right-wing Holy Bible thumpers like me, or because they decided overnight to embrace Christian Conservative values. Rather, it is because the Republican party has moved to the left and is ABANDONING the values it was founded on. That is why I make it clear that I’m NOT a Republican. I’m NOT a Democrat. I’m A CHRISTIAN. I am beholden to NO Political Party. I vote Biblical values every time, all of the time. No compromise. No settling. End of discussion. Period.

That is why, if Ted Cruz does NOT get the Republican nomination for President, I will NOT vote for Donald Trump. Never Trump means NEVER. The only way I could make an exception would be if Trump made Cruz his V.P., but we all know how much he despises Ted, so that will most likely never happen. John Kasich should be ashamed of himself, because he is singlehandedly handing Trump the nomination and blocking Ted Cruz from beating him. Kasich has no reason to still be in this Race, as he is currently 4th in a 3 man race. Ted Cruz would beat Trump in many States if it were one on one, but Kasich staying in prevents that from happening by splitting the anti-Trump vote, all but guaranteeing Trump the nomination. John Kasich will be solely to blame if Trump wins and if Hillary becomes the next President.

That is why I’m done with these political games, and I’m done with the Republican Party. I’m a Christian Conservative, and will be voting Ted Cruz for President, even if Trump becomes the nominee. I encourage all of my fellow God-fearing conservatives to do the same, and to WRITE-IN TED CRUZ. Now, I know that many Republicans will guilt trip me, saying, “but we will lose to Hillary”. NO, “you” will lose to Hillary because of your bad choices, NOT “we”. Every poll shows Donald Trump LOSES big to Hillary, while Cruz BEATS her. Not only that, but many Bernie Sanders voters have said they are going to write-in Bernie if Hillary wins, so if we Conservatives write-in Cruz, we may see a historic 4 way Presidential Election. We do NOT have to “settle” for Trump.

We do NOT have to support the “eventual nominee” if they do not share our values just because the Republican Party says we have to “unite” around one candidate. We do not owe ANY loyalty to the GOP, as they have not been loyal to US one bit. They’ve broken so many promises to their constituents, and have caved to Obama on too many issues. That is one of many reasons that the Washington Establishment loathes Ted Cruz, because he actually fights on the issues he’s elected to fight for. He makes the Congressional RINOS look bad. They hate him for it, but us conservatives love him for it!

Now, you’ve already heard where “Lyin’ Trump” stands on the issues that matter, so now this is where Cruz stands ~

On abortion, once elected president, he will instruct his Attorney General to investigate Planned Parenthood on DAY ONE. On Gay Marriage, Ted has unapologetically never wavered in his stance that “Marriage is a sacrament between one man and one woman, it has strengthened societies for millennia, and we must uphold the truth of marriage.” Concerning Religious Liberty, and the secular, liberal, and government attacks on Christians throughout Obama’s presidency, Cruz has said, “On DAY ONE, a President Cruz will instruct the Department of Justice, the IRS, and every other federal agency that the persecution of Christians ends TODAY.” On Israel, a Cruz Administration would on DAY ONE recognize Jerusalem as the Eternal undivided CAPITAL of Israel and the US Embassy will be moved there. Cruz has said that Israel will always have everything it needs to defend itself. He would immediately reassess US policy towards the Palestinian Authority. NOT ONE PENNY of American tax dollars would go to the PA if they incite hatred against Jews and partner with the terror group Hamas. Ted will also move to defund the UNITED NATIONS if it continues it’s anti-Israel bias and would withdraw federal funding from EVERY American university that boycotts Israel.

THAT, my friends, is why Ted Cruz is getting my vote over all others. I encourage and call on all of my fellow Christian Conservatives to support him as well, and if you have to, write-in Cruz. Either way, win or lose, our voices will be heard. I’m sick and tired of Christians being forced to vote for the lesser of two evils, and I won’t play that game this November. Regardless of what 2 names end up at the top of the Republican and Democrat tickets this Fall, we the people have the final say. Finally, to the Republicans who may be angered by this article, I agree with you completely that Hillary Clinton MUST LOSE, but if she doesn’t, the Republican Party will have no one to blame but THEMSELVES. My hands and more importantly, my conscience, will be clean.

  1. Excellent points. I may very well join you in the write on. Being a resident of Massachusetts I long ago realized that my vote doesn’t matter so I’ve always vote to make a statement. “Shields High” my friend.

  2. AMAZING article! I always said that I would support the republican candidate no matter who won, but after Trump attacked Heidi Cruz, I said enough. I can’t vote for someone who thinks Planned Parenthood does wonderful things. That is like saying Hitler did wonderful things. Planned Parenthood could cure cancer and it STILL wouldn’t make up for the babies they tore apart limb from limb. Trump is playing the American people and it couldn’t be more obvious. He WILL hand Hillary the White House. Trump had divided conservatives with his vile personal attacks and it wouldn’t surprise me if that was his plan all along. He has been in bed with the most corrupt Democrats in our government, he funded the gang of eight amnesty, he owes millions to Goldman Sachs and all the other big banks, he believes in government run healthcare, he gave next to nothing to our vets until he decided to run for president and the same goes for 9/11 victims. The man is a fraud and it sickens me to see so many people falling for his con. Wake up America!

  3. I have said from the start, I will never vote for Trump. I will vote for the only conservative, Senator Ted Cruz, even if it is a write in vote.

  4. I’ve been wrestling with this myself. Most of the time I say no way will i vote trump, then hitlery comes on tv and i say no way can that criminal become president. I am still torn and pray for God to perform miraculous “vision” to people who have closed their eyes to what trump really is. I know America does not deserve a man like Cruz, but we need him. It will only happen now if we have massive prayers for God to pave the way for this to happen. I truly do not want to be responsible for being a part of putting a pathological liar, narcissist and huge fascist tendencies in the w.h.

  7. I’m writing in Ted Cruz. I refuse to contribute to the deliberate destruction of this country by voting for Trump. He doesn’t share my values. He is a narcissistic bully with severe mental problems. The RNC has asked for unity, get behind the PRESUMPTIVE nominee. How can they ask for unity when Trump has called them crooked and rigged? How can they support him? He said he doesn’t need the support of the Republican party. I will have a clear conscience when I write in Ted Cruz.

  8. It’s my contention that there are far fewer Believers than one thinks. The church has been severely compromised in recent decades. Evangelical churches have conformed to the world instead of remaining a “peculiar people.”

The churches have divorced God’s love from God’s justice/righteousness – all grace, no law. God’s been dumbed down to a celestial pal; there’s no reverence whatsoever.

There are few, very few “Christians,” who understand and believe the basic tenets of the faith. Squishy homilies pass for sermons. Kids who grew up in these churches don’t believe in the Virgin birth or “In the beginning God…”

We’re a remnant. The chaff is being shaken from the wheat.

Prayer is the solution. On-our-faces-in-humility-and-repentance prayer.

  9. I couldn’t agree more. My wife and I started out supporting the only true conservative that shares our values, Ted Cruz, and we will end that way supporting him at the ballot box. And don’t anyone dare tell me I’m throwing my vote away. Like everything else, I have to answer to God for my vote, and I don’t want the excuse to be “everyone else was doing it.” Trump is mistaken. The slogan shouldn’t be “Making America Great Again,” but rather “Making America Righteous Again.”

  10. Ted Cruz is the only one I will vote for. He is a good man that will stand up for God and American people and he has Jesus in his heart. So we have to ask our self. Do want someone that don.t stand up for God or someone that does. I will write in Ted Cruz in there if that is what it is going to take. I believe in my heart that God wants us to vote for a man or woman that will stand with him.
